We ordered our bed in November, after a small issue with the headboard it was quickly rectified and replaced, Danny was very helpful with the customer service, I would recommend

Horrendous experience with Moorcroft…

Horrendous experience with Moorcroft Beds.
The beds I received are completely different from what was shown on their website — highly misleading to customers. The quality is extremely poor: all the beds are misaligned, badly constructed, and arrived with visible damage.

To make matters worse, the company is completely unresponsive via phone. They refuse to take any calls and will only communicate through an online chat system, which is slow and unhelpful.

This has caused significant inconvenience and unnecessary expense, as I’ve had to hire a carpenter to attempt to correct their faulty products. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company.

Wrong parts sent for bigger bed. No communication!

Bought a bed from moorcroft beds. When it came we noticed we had ordered the king size bed as planned, however they sent a super king size bottom frame. Sent emails and also contacted on chat and been ignored. Two weeks down and still nothing. This is not acceptable.

Update: the correct parts have now been sent out 4 weeks after purchase so I am happy to amend the review. However, I do think the customer service needs reviewing. Unable to contact via phone number. The bed was actually decent in fairness. Thank you for your kind reply.

Do not purchase from here.
I purchased a bed for my daughter in May I tried endless times to contact this company I got ignored for days on end when the bed wasn’t delivered when they said they then rang me half an hour before delivery saying they were missing the footend so to save them time they wernt going to deliver the bed then ignored again for days finally arranged a delivery the man turned up unloaded the bed into my living room then said missing footbed. The delivery man even said how bad the company has been with not checking when beds are loaded. The delivery man was kicking his doors
On his van to get them to shut it was so battered! Finally got the footend made the bed up and there was no instructions just diagram of the bed and fixings and a hole in the fabric. I was offered small refund but should have been more considering the chasing I had to do to find out status of the bed being delivered and rearranging delivery. I was going to buy the same bed for my son in a different colour in a few month but never again will I deal with this company! They are so hard to contact and never answer their phones and customer service is very poor!

Do not order !!!!!

Bed came with no bolts!

Spent all night trying to find the right sized bolts

Looks nothing like the pictures !
Totally different to what the photo was.

Photo had brown wooden legs. This has come with chrome stumps.

Velvet looks nothing like the display photo. It looks cheap and tacky.

Absolutely disgusted.
Phone number just rings and no one answers.

Bed came with just 7 wooden slats.

Have to go to bnq and get another 15 cut the same size and buy my own wood!

Not worth the money at all. Should have spent an extra £450 and got top quality elsewhere.

Stay clear of these cheap badly stapled un neat beds.

Brilliant Experience !!

I don't know how this company has so many bad reviews. For me personally I had a great experience with them.

Ordered the herringbone luxury panelled bed and they kept me consistently updated with regards to delivery times even ringing half hour before they would deliver it. Bed arrived quickly and exactly when they said it would.

Unfortunately the headboard was too big which was my own fault! Reached out to the company via their chat service on their website and they got back to me the same day and was able to get a headboard exchange. As I was going away for the week I asked if I could have it delivered once I returned.

I returned home on the Monday, had a text to say headboard would be delivered the following day, again I was updated regularly and bed was delivered exactly when they said it would and they took the old one away.

Headboard fits perfect and I am over the moon with it. Couldn't fault this company, handled everything quickly and efficiently. Even when this was my own mistake!

I ordered a bed and the wrong bed was…

I ordered a bed and the wrong bed was sent. They offered an exchange, I had a message to say the new bed was coming between 6pm and 9pm. I had to disassemble the bed, find someone to help get it outside, and the new bed never turned up! Now 10pm and no bed, no where to sleep. No phone number for the delivery company and customer services is not available. Shocking. Avoid!

gorgeous bed!

Was worried about my order after reading reviews but bed was delivered today and it’s exactly what was ordered.
We ordered the Dorchester tall headboard bed. Very happy with our order and delivery man was really polite and helpful

Order cancelled with no explanation and still no refund

Unfortunately had my order cancelled with no notice due to not delivering to NI (which was not shown as an excluded location on their website nor upon checkout). Attempted to contact Moorcroft in response to the cancellation email as it specifically mentioned “Order was canceled because of unforeseen circumstances and your payment has NOT yet been refunded” however the email bounced back, as were attempted emails to the info@ email address. No explanation, no attempt at a solution (I’d have been happy paying any increased delivery fee), no update as to how long the refund would take, just a blunt “order has been cancelled”!

Overall, the communication and customer service has been extremely poor, as was the person responding ignorantly on the website chat. Very unprofessional, and actually relieved that I am now purchasing from a proper company; can only imagine what I’d have faced if there was an issue!

Please update your website to reference that you do not deliver to NI - it’s very misleading, especially when we specifically check prior to payment!

Recently bought my bed and i was…

Recently bought my bed and i was worried with the mix of reviews.
I ordered on a Wed and it was delivered the following Tues. I received email updates and a call from the driver on the day for a time slot. I was disappointed it wasnt built for me as alot of the reviews mentioned it being built for them, the man said takes 5mins easy enough. It was relatively easy but did take over 2hours. Regardless of this im delighted with my purchase, my delivery and my price. The bed is stunning and the fabric is gorgeous. I will be using the shop again when it comes to decorating my sons room.

Absolutely terrible customer service

Absolutely terrible customer service, I ordered a bed it was delivered, When we unpacked it we discovered the velvet was ripped, so I emailed them straight away about a hour after delivery 4 emails and a week later they still haven’t got back to me

Had a bit of a nightmare with beds with the delivery driver but the owners brother went above and beyond and personally hand delivered my bed late on a Friday night couple of hours drive went above and beyond for me to have a bed that night

Terrible customer service

Absolutely terrible customer service. They never answer the phone and the mailbox is full so you cannot leave a message. The only contact is through chat and the response time is very slow. I ordered a bed which took about 2 weeks to arrive instead of the 5-7 days stated. Upon arrival the bed was damaged and badly marked so they said they would replace it after 2 days of messaging. The replacement bed still has not arrived and they are unable to provide a date of delivery, I have been told it would be mid week and I would recieve a call Monday or Tuesday which never happened, then I was told it will be there on the weekend which has not happened and now I have been told it will be the following week. Delivery time on both occasions has been 2 weeks and the 2nd delivery may go over that. Would not recommend at all. Orders my bed before April 30th and it's now May 24th and I still have no bed and no idea when it will arrive.

Lovely bed and pleasant experience

From start to finish a great experience.
I purchased the Herringbone luxury Panelled bed with gas lift ottoman base.
I received an email to confirm purchase, a few days later I received a tracking update - you do need to add this into the track my order section on the website and after a few days this is updated with a delivery date. We then received a call confirming delivery and an allocated slot between 11:00 - 15:00. I asked if we could receive a call 30 mins prior to arrival. The driver called to inform us when he was 20 minutes away. while the driver made sure all parts were accounted for my husband carried them inside. The driver offered to assemble the bed but we declined. We were unsure how to secure the headboard so I sent a message on the online chat and a response was sent within an hour to confirm. The bed is lovely and as described, easy to assemble (for my husband, I wouldn't have been able to lift the gas lift ottoman section)
all in all great experience and would recommend. The other negative reviews did make me nervous but from start to finish I have nothing negative to say.

Can someone contact me about my order…

Can someone contact me about my order MCB115064. I had delivery of a bed Saturday and a part was missing. I called the driver and he said he was aware but had to take it back to you for re delivery. I’ve heard nothing since! I call and it just says mailbox full. I try and email and they just bounce back. If I don’t hear back from you I will be taking this further!

Do not use this company,my bed was delivered the guy said he wasn’t going to put it together said they had stopped doing it had to pay a joiner to do it,nothing lined up had to go and buy fittings,the finish was terrible,I contacted them he offered £30 refund,even after telling him about having a joiner a insult I thought,but didn’t even receive that
