Ordered the vaccum and a replacement filter a month ago. The filter arrived but the vacuum did not. the carrier (Evri) couldn’t recognise my address (as it’s a new build) contacted Evri they told me to get it sorted I had to contact the sender. I tried contacting moonpod customer services and they was beyond useless. Was like talking to a brick wall. They stated it’s my fault as the address is incorrect but I explained it’s a new build and the other part of my order with them using the same address (filter) got delivered just fine so it can’t be an address issue. They ignored me and stated that I’m going to be charged £30 because of the address being wrong and I’m also not getting any of my money back until the product returns back to them. Which I also find baffling considering it’s clear I never received the product(This was three weeks ago) I’ve had no money back.

If I ever get my money back, I won’t be re ordering or buying any other product from this company as there customer services is outrageous

I received my MOONPOD stick vacuum cleaner 2 days ago. I was very exited to open and assemble the vacuum cleaner which was super easy. Everything from here was only down hill- the quality of the materials is very low. Then when I pressed the trigger to start to clean the floor, it would only work for 5 seconds and shut down. Press the trigger again and 5 seconds of run time - not that the battery was drained , it showed 80% charge. I tried to make it run a few more times but the same 5 secs of run time every time. I have now repacked it in the box and bags it was sent in and written to the company by email ( no phone contacts are available) for a return authorisation and possible refund. I intend to send it back asap. I strongly advise against buying this product. I got swayed by a UK reviewer doing a comparison with the likes of Dyson, LG, Shark etc which said that that the MOONOA out performed all the branded ones like Dyson and LG. I now realise that was a complete hog wash. I have since found many consumer reviews and 8/10 reviews are of how atrocious this product is, how they feel scammed and how they are still waiting for a refund. I wish I had read more reviews before purchasing this s*it stick. If I am unable to resolve this matter soon, I will not hesitate to expose the so called independent reviewer. So in conclusion STAY AWAY FROM MOONOA MOONPOD STICK VACUUM CLEANERS.

Like the previous person I bought this because I wanted something light. However, it is like a toy; it picks up a certain amount of dirt but is so very easily blocked with fluff from the carpet or anything else it chooses and when I try to pull the pieces apart to unblock it or use it in a different way or empty it I find it almost impossible to separate the pieces. So lots of potential and it is better than lugging a great heaver vacuum cleaner about but is disappointing in the ways I have described.

Absolute scam. Vacuum cleaner doesn’t work and they are refusing to replace it in breach of consumer laws. This is a Hong Kong company that routinely steals and uses other website brands. Avoid at all costs.

If I could give no stars I would. Complete waste of money. Just a con.

Takes an age to charge.
Cheap plastic rubbish.

Only issue now is how to get rid of it.

Despite bad reviews,my monopod has worked well from the start,,light,efficient and very easy to operate. Works well collecting dog hairs. Collecting box easy to remove and clean.Whether it will
last as long as my grandmothers 1930 Hoover remains to be seen!

Don’t buy does not work as efficiently as it saids does- stick to the normal brands not worth the money

I ordered two vacuum cleaners from MoonPod also known as MoonoaAU on the 8/11 and have still not received my order. I've emailed them numerous times and their response has been that I entered the wrong address! My computer fills out the address automatically and I triple check (as I'm paranoid with buying online). I wish I had read all the shocking and bad reviews for this company before i placed my order but sadly I did not. Please, please do not make the same mistake as me...this company is a scam and their standard response to this review will be that they don't sell vacuum cleaners...what a load of rubbish!

Purchased on back of an online review marking it as equivalent to higher end cordless vacuums. That same website now appears to have an identical vacuum under at least 2 different names for the same price.

Poor suction, cheap poor quality accessories that don't seem to fit properly.
Looks like it's dysons rejected faulty parts.

Not in anyway equivalent, have replaced it with a more reputable brand.

They should be regarded as a scam company although they did deliver their product but it is totally dissatisfying, the product is completely cheap and nasty and did not function properly, the return process was a complete nightmare and basically could not return the product, they don’t respond to your emails properly as they don’t address any of your issues or concerns, they take no accountability of their product even though I sent them video proof of their product not sucking up the most simple of things, they did not want to refund me and only wanted to offer me a discount of 5% to keep their rubbish product that did not work as said that there is no guarantee that it will be received in China even though I needed to pay for the return postage, have written this off as a bad loss and strongly advocate against this company as they are completely disgusting to deal with, do not buy from this company I promise you they will cause you so much stress and heartache.

Followed the link on a great review. Seemed legit. Don't bother. Ordered a vacuum 11 days ago. Sent 5 emails, no response [despite claiming within 24h response on website]. Took the money immediately, no tax invoice, no delivery updates. Appalling service as not phone number to contact. Feel scammed as Amazon sell the same product for $150 less with next day delivery. Have reported to ACCC as clearly the website and service are not meeting consumer standards. Have asked for a refund. Still nothing. Also, read their policies - very unhelpful and disadvantegous for consumers

The hose blocked up on the second time of using my MoonPod Hypersonic Pro Cordless Vacuum. After the 1st recharge and 1stbempty of the dust cannister, the hose blocked up to the point that the dust was falling back out when switched off. I thought I had ordered a Cordless Vacuum that could cope with pet hair and dander too. Well, clearly it can't. Asked for a refund and address to return it and their Customer Services response was to ask me to video the problem. I couldn't figure out how to video an internal blockage, so just unblocked it myself. The little flap between the top of the hose and cannister is made of solid plastic, so this could be the design fault that caused the back clogging u of cat fur. Since then, emails have bounced back and forth up until the end of October, when they stopped relying. So I'm now naming and shaming them! They are expensive for something that doesn't do what it's supposed to do! I'm going to try for a refund from my bank next. Who will get MoonPod to then refund them! But I still have no address to send it back to! It looks natty with it's lights and currently it's not blocked itself up again, but that's only a matter of time! It needs emptying too often also. Poor catch design. Singularly disappointed with it.

Don't buy this vacuum. It is cheaply made, has barely any power and is difficult to use. The dirt container is tricky to get in and out. I bought one a few months ago and have been so disappointed. A part has already broken off it. Please do not buy.

I just received it. Seems to work fine but the quality of the accessories is pretty poor. In addition, the dust container had a crack already (packaging was all padded, so go figure).
When I tried to register the warranty their website directs you to a bank page and the form in the leaflet has nowhere to send it to. I believe this is on purpose and plan to claim money back this rough car company, being a domestic appliance.
I have written an email with plenty of photos to start documenting the process. I don’t expect much.

I have spent the last few weeks communicationg with Ryelo in an effort to get a refund for a defective Moonpod vacuum cleaner. They have put me through every hoop imaginable asking me to dis-assemble and re-assemble the machine, several times and to send videos of the machine's failure to operate properly, all of which I have done. Each time I ask them to take the Moonpod back and refund my money, they ignore my request. Unless you are happy to take the risk of ordering an inferior or inoperable machine and losing your money, I would strongly advise against ordering from this company

They really are a terrible company. Be warned. It took over 4 weeks and numerous emails to get my hoover. It's early days but it seems OK. Excuses include Courier has lost it. 15% to cancel an order. 18% extra discount for inconvenience, trouble is I'm still waiting.

Believed it to be Danish Ottena, and was surprised that it is a Moonpod. It works well and is light. Scary reviews that aren't my experience. It doesn't get blocked like my hoover stick did which is why I wanted a replacement. So far I'm happy. Time will tell.

I am absolutely disgusted with this company who I now believe to be Chinese. The usual lies and false hype. It’s honestly the noisiest hoover I’ve ever had, made from cheap nasty material. Fit only for the dump. Why oh why do the Chinese get away with it.
