No battery available for Mont Blanc Summit3 watch…

I received a Mont Blanc Summit3 watch as a Christmas present in 2023. This summer I started having to recharge the watch multiple times daily and so sent it in to have the battery replaced. THEY DON'T HAVE A REPLACEMENT BATTERY! I am within the 2 year warranty period and called 3 weeks ago to open a claim. No communications. I have contacted customer service 3 times now. Terrible customer service. The agent was pleasant, it's her management I have an issue with. I now own a $1200 brick.

Absolutely awful customer service

Absolutely awful customer service. I made a mistake and didn’t order express delivery so phoned them literally 2 minutes after I placed the online order. The customer service person barely spoke English and the child screaming next to them meant I couldn’t hear. They said they couldn’t cancel the order or upgrade the delivery even after just a few minutes. I’m still waiting for FedEx to deliver as it seems stuck at their depot ……Never again just avoid them

I recently visited the Mont Blanc shop…

I recently visited the Mont Blanc shop on South Anne Street in Dublin. I was greeted by the lovely Vlatka. I was looking for a gift for a work colleague who was leaving to move to Australia. She suggested a pen and notebook which were absolutely stunning. We also got both engraved. I collected the gifts 2 days later and they were in a stunning presentation box, perfectly gift-wrapped. Vlatka is extremely warm, friendly, professional and knowledgable. I would highly recommend visiting the shop if you're looking for that special gift! Thank you Vlatka :)

They don’t give a damn!

I was really disappointed with Montblanc’s customer service. My partner bought me a belt as a gift, but since I already own a Montblanc belt, I wanted to return it for a refund (I’d rather my partner keep the money for more important things). The belt was brand new, boxed, purchased just four days earlier, and completely unused.

Montblanc refused to offer a refund and would only allow an exchange or a credit note. For a brand that prides itself on quality and luxury, I expected more flexibility — especially given how recently it was bought and that it was a genuine gift.

This experience has really put me off buying from them again. And seeing the reviews on here it seems that they really couldn’t give a damn about their service. Position themselves as luxury, act like some dodgy market trader. Best avoid.

I am very disappointed in Montblanc

I am very disappointed in Montblanc. They make nice pens. I bought a Leonard Bernstein ballpoint pen. The pen is beautiful. But when the cartridge ran out, none of the ones they sold, fit. So I called customer service multiple times and also emailed. First they advised me to buy refills that did not fit, then they disappeared and stopped answering my emails. The bottom line is that they appear to have no refill for sale that fit their own expensive pen, which is a 1996 model, I believe. So they just vanished. At those high prices, they should provide better customer service. I eventually found a refill that fit, but no thanks to the useless service at Montblanc. The pens are nice, the customer service is not.

Do Not Buy a Mont Blanc watch

Be warned. Do not buy a watch from Mont Blanc. The service and attitude from them is appalling. My watch is awaiting a new leather strap to be attached.....yes, a simple leather strap. The watch has been away now for 102 days!!!! with no indication of its return. When I have been able to speak to a human being they've blamed it on regulations regarding importing and exporting leather goods with a good dollop of BREXIT throw in. Utter incompetence was never mentioned. MONT BLANC are a disgrace. Avoid.

I spent £400 on an engraved pen as a…

I spent £400 on an engraved pen as a gift for it to arrive with the wrong engraving!!! After checking my order was correct I contacted customer service multiple times over several months to be told I can send back and reorder. Even though it was their error! Reordering not only would cost to send back, cost delivery & mean I no longer benefited from the £10 discount from signing up to the newsletter, but also meant the gift was late! Absolutely horrific customer service.

Buyer Beware as they sell pens now with hadlycc BBC any ink in to get to buy a new refill sooner than you would expect …

So if anyone is buying a Montblanc ball pen buyer beware to avoid unprecedented disappointment and from being totally ripped off - I bought acre placement Meisterstuck ball point pen at considerable expense to find after 3 weeks it ran out of ink - I contacted the customer service a man called Noah responded saying that they extend their sincere gratitude for bringing my recent experience to their attention and for your continued patronage and deeply regret to learn that your purchase of a Meisterstück ballpoint pen did not meet the standards i have come to expect from Montblanc, and we are particularly concerned by your observation regarding the ink level in the refill.

In order to address my concerns with the appropriate level of care, they confirmed they would be pleased to offer me a complimentary replacement refill for your Meisterstück ballpoint pen. Having agreed to accept the refill and given my address Noah came back to say they wouldn’t now send this FoC but I must buy it with a 5% discount despite having paid full price for a pen expecting it to come with a full ink in it - what kind of Liw down cheap ploy is this - a brand that my family has bought from for generations has destroyed their reputation not only knowingly selling substandard products at full price but then reneging on their promise to try to resolve the situation - just aweful - if Noah worked for me he would be sacked instantly and so would the head of customer service - utterly shameful - I V am now taking the matter to Trading Standards

DO NOT BUY A MONTBLANC PRODUCT

Terrible is an understatement!
I was gifted a very expensive fountain pen from the Enzo Ferrari collection. This was supposed to represent the celebration of the end of a 3 year personal battle. Instead it created another one…
After 3 months of very gentle use, the tip of the cap fell off and the writing instrument became completely useless. I contacted customer service, which is a hair bending process, with this company.
“We use a third party for our repairs”.
I had to send -AT MY EXPENSE- the pen to an outfit in Southern California. 4 different non English speaking people started calling and emailing me with criptic messages, with the left hand not communicating with the right one, to finally announce to me that the repairs would be over $400!
I told them to keep the pen and that I will not stop broadcasting and talk about my experience with them until this matter is resolved.

This is the first and mildest shot.

DO NOT BUY A MONTBLANC PRODUCT.

They are very expensive but are of very mediocre quality and their customer service is abysmal, which is completely unacceptable from a company owned by Richemont, one of the leading luxury conglomerates in the world.

I had never had worse customer service…

I had never had worse customer service from a luxury brand like this. There was a glaring mistake on the embossing of leather belt and they would not do anything about it. Basically they want me to send to leather repair costing an arm and a leg to fix the mistake. Very very very disappointed. I would never buy Montblanc ever again. Lost a customer for life.

I've been a Mont Blanc customer…

I've been a Mont Blanc customer primarily for their pens for over 20 years. Recently however I returned my watch for a replacement strap and requested a 'cream' coloured leather strap as advertised on their website. Amazingly they returned the watch to the jewellers without a cream strap (because they no longer stocked it) but failed to contact the jewellers and check what other colour might be preferable. Instead the jewellers had to resend the watch back to advise on what coloured straps were available. One month later there is still no news from Mont Blanc. This is another example of awful service from the so called luxury goods companies as I've had a similar experience with Tissot. They managed 3 months to fit a strap. Safe to say I will never buy Mont Blanc again or indeed any Swiss based watch manufacturer.
UPDATE. Mont Blanc returned my watch to the jewellers with the original strap, yes, the one that needed repairing in the first place. The incompetence and indifference of this company is staggering.
DO NOT BUY MONT BLANC!

Montblanc Return. Worst Experience Ever.

This has been the most frustrating and outrageous experience I’ve ever had with a company.

I returned a high value watch set exactly as instructed — dropped it off at the correct UPS location and kept the official receipt. At one point, the package was lost by UPS, which caused immense stress and delays. After chasing them through multiple calls, long hold times, and being passed between departments, the package was finally recovered. Montblanc did not help one bit during this and were utterly useless despite it being their responsibility as a company.

I provided every single detail, proof, and document requested — including the UPS receipt and confirmation of drop-off. Despite all of that, and despite doing absolutely everything right, the company has now denied my right to return the item.

The customer service has been appalling: dismissive, unclear, and completely lacking accountability. I was lied to by one of their customer service agents who stated I will be able to receive a refund if recovered. I’ve been left with no refund, and no justification for why my return — which followed their own process — was rejected.

For a company that handles high-value goods, this is not just poor service — it’s unacceptable and unethical. I will not let this go. I will be sharing my experience publicly and taking all necessary steps to escalate this further.

Avoid this company at all costs. If something goes wrong, they will not support you — even when it’s not your fault.

Never purchase ther watches!! purchased therir smart watch couple…

purchased their smart watch couple thousand dollars, couple years later needed a battery replacement, made a call and spoke to customer service discussing the service it needs, I was told to send it to nearest service center in my case Toronto area, spent $120 on shipping with insurance, day later they sent it back said sorry there is no service available for that watch. So basically watch is only good for a couple years till battery stops holing a charge then its junk lol waste of money bad business never again with this brand!

Montblanc....never again!!

OMG I cannot believe some of these reviews I have read on here, after having exactly the same experience. How can this so called luxury brand perform so badly?!! I bought a pen just over 12 months and I was very disappointed when it arrived as it was a similar weight to a plastic Bic pen, light as a feather and cheap looking. I had it engraved otherwise it would have gone straight back. About 3 months ago the lid wouldn't go back on and was really sharp, I eventually contact customer services who told me that it was a recognised manufacturing problem. I stupidly assumed this meant they would replace it but no I had to go to the website fill a form in and wait, a month later I've chased and receive no email back, no 'repairs kit' no response, what an absolute embarrassment. Usually when customer services are so bad they are on their way out so I wouldn't waste my time. Pen is now in the wheelie bin where it belongs.

I'm deeply disappointed with…

I'm deeply disappointed with Montblanc's customer service. Despite sending six messages, I received either no reply or incomplete responses. I had to repeat basic information multiple times because no one seemed to read my previous emails. In one reply, I was even asked to provide product information I had already included several times with the full order number and product name.

For a brand that positions itself as premium, this service is simply unacceptable. My request was simple – a personalization and gift-wrapping inquiry – yet it was ignored or inadequately addressed for days. I expected much more in terms of quality and customer focus.

A real shame. I was looking forward to the product but ended up disappointed with the brand itself.

Don't buy the smartwatch

I bought a Summit 2+ smartwatch. It is out of warranty and is now experiencing issues. I contacted the company and was told the unit is not repairable. The issue is that the watch is not charging due to poor materials being used to make the electrical contacts.

The product quality is poor for such expense and the service is absolutely terrible.

Stay clear of the extremely overpriced and arrogant group.

Pen case broke at top sent off for service repair kit late Dec 2024 had to chase customer services as still not received early Jan 2025 the pen has now been with them awaiting there crafts men to repair
Apparently this can take up to 9-10 weeks
To fix!
It’s now 2nd of June nothing how bad is this

Followers,put this disgusting company…

Followers,put this disgusting company out of business. Minor damage to end of pencil but just enough to prevent lead from propelling. Just got a call - 2/3 months to fix it - small part that can be unscrewed that must be in stock. 80 GBP please.
I have a nasty horrible taste in my mouth that will probably not go away

Awful unhelpful Company

This is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.

I placed an order for a present for my husband's birthday and it has not arrived. I phoned to see if they could assist and they said no. It had been a public holiday in Germany and then hung up.

When the goods arrive out of principal I will return them as I do not want this company to have my money.
