I use monsterphonics with my children. The ones who have beneffitted most are those with additional needs. The colours help them to understand and focus on the sounds and use them to break words down and build them up accurately. It is so much fun for the learner and the teacher!

Really informative and motivating staff training session - the staff can't wait to get going on Monster Phonics and have already planned a whole school launch day. The chat function on the website is great as Monster Phonics staff respond to queries really quickly and effectively.

Would definitely recommend this innovative programme to colleague headteachers.

We have just started on our journey with Monster Phonics. The children love the monsters and are really engaged with their learning. The colour coding is helping children to pick up their sounds quickly and therefore their reading is improving.

My four year old loves the books and tricky word cards. Its helped her engagement and enjoyment of reading she has come on in leaps and bounds since she received them, we are very impressed.

Monster phonics is an excellent teaching and learning programme for the classroom. My class thoroughly enjoy learning about all of the monsters and their sounds. It enhances their engagement in phonics as they are exited about learning which monster each sound comes from.

I would definitely recommend this teaching and learning programme to any primary school.

My 4 y.o. is so happy, he just sits and tries to read them even if he does not understand anything. He is so attracted by the pictures and he has few favorite ones which he even takes them with him at nursery.
I like the way they keep him busy (far from technology).
Over all , the books are amazing.

The books are excellent! I am really impressed with how engaged the kids have been and how much they enjoy reading them. The results are great!

My daughter attends a school where they use 'Monster Phonics'. She has always loved books since she was a baby, but I can see such a vast difference with her interest in reading since being introduced to these lovely characters. I was so surprised how much she would talk about her reading. We managed to get some of the lovely posters to decorate her room with it and now, as a parent, I can be more involved in what she is experiencing at school with her reading. She thinks that she is teaching me how to read. Reading is such a vital part of successful living!

Thank you Monster Phonics for this wonderful reading scheme. As a teacher of Year 1&2, who has a wide range of reading abilities, the books are perfect for covering the whole phonics programme. The children were so excited to start reading their Monster Phonics Books this week.

We recently signed up to Monster Phonics. It has already proven itself to be popular with adults and childcare alike. It is a really useful tool and the colour coding and different characters has really helped some children to get to grips with some of the more tricky elements of learning to read and spell. We are looking forward to seeing how things continue to develop and are sure that Monster Phonics will have a very positive impact!

We have recently bought into this scheme and my class love it. It’s been the best purchase we’ve made in a while, and the whole of EYFS and Year 1 engage really well with the scheme, they love the monsters and really enjoy this phonics learning.
The resources are well planned and inviting for the children, and all the planning is there, which takes away so much from my work load! I would 100% recommend this scheme to anyone!

I attended all of the webinars this summer in preparation for the start of my NQT year. All of the course held on line offered great content and clear outline of the program. The monster phonics approach is an excellent way to Way to teach phonics.
The most useful part of the seminars was the videos and pictures of schools with the scheme in place offered excellent support when planning activities and areas to develop phonics within KS1

I highly recommend Monsterphonics. I have had the books for less than a week and I can already see that my child has started taking an interest in reading again. He really enjoys the monster characters and linking them to the phonics sounds.

Delivery and customer service was excellent too.

Really like the colour-coding as it really does make “phonics easier to understand and easier to teach”. Have recently ordered the magnetic letters to use after the summer which prompted this review so am looking forward to using them.

Quick service and the books look great, my daughter was very excited to see them arrive so that’s a good start!! Also had a nice follow up email to check they had arrived safely. Pleasure to deal with.
