Thanks for your feedback — we’d like to clarify this for anyone reading.

When placing the original order, the subscription option was selected directly on the product page. We offer both one-time purchase and subscription, and customers actively choose which option they prefer before checkout.

That said, as soon as you contacted us about it, we immediately cancelled the subscription so there were no further renewals or charges.

There is no obligation to continue, and subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Which is exactly what happened in your case.
