A Memorable Experience with Momentum Solar
I just want to take a moment to really appreciate Momentum Solar and the experience they’ve provided. From the very beginning, everything was explained with so much confidence and clarity. I was told my electricity bill would decrease this month, which of course sounded like a great step forward.
And in a way, I have to give them credit — the result was definitely memorable. Instead of the expected decrease, my bill went up by 80 Dollars. It’s honestly impressive how they’ve managed to turn something as routine as an energy bill into a surprising and unforgettable moment.
What I admire most is the consistency. The expectations were set high, and while the outcome didn’t exactly match what was described, it certainly stood out. Not every company can deliver an experience that makes you stop, look twice at your bill, and really reflect on what you were told versus what actually happened.
Overall, I truly appreciate the unique experience Momentum Solar provides. If you’re looking for a company that keeps things interesting and ensures your monthly bills are anything but predictable, they definitely know how to deliver.
nothing but false promises and liars at…
nothing but false promises and liars at this company. I've been done for six months and been working for the last three months and not received one phone call even though they said they're gonna call including the manager, including the owner of the company has been emailed several times on LinkedIn. I would fire every employee there. They're all pieces of crap. . My panel has been down 3 months . No one ever calls. You. They do nothing But liars awayThis company is an absolute joke.
Follow up. I had a call from a manager stating that she has a high-level meeting on Friday and she'll contact me on Monday with some answers and guess what no call back it's Tuesday.
Still waiting for a call over a month now to schedule an appointment for service , this company should be shut down for lack of service.
It has been over a month, and I still haven't received a single phone call to even schedule an appointment to repair my solar system. I have used the chat system four separate times, and each time the chat conveniently disconnects after I'm told, "We'll get back to you." No one ever does.
I've called repeatedly and left multiple voicemails--no calls back. The level of unresponsiveness is unbelievable. Once you sign the contract, customer service completely disappears.
At this point, I'm being forced to consider legal action, including consulting an attorney to recover lost revenue due to my system being down for an extended period with no service or communication.
I even tried escalating the issue by emailing the CFO, Arthur Souitzidis, hoping someone in leadership would respond. Once again--no response.
There is no way to speak to a live person. You can email, leave voicemails, or get stuck in endless chat loops, but you cannot actually get help. This company is entirely non-responsive and should not be allowed to operate this way.
I strongly recommend staying far away from this company.
I am beyond frustrated.
I have called four times and was told it would take 10-14 days just to schedule an appointment. I am now sitting at 3.5 weeks with not a single callback.
I have opened four separate chat sessions. Each time, I asked for a supervisor or manager's phone number, and every single time the chat mysteriously disconnected immediately after that request.
This company is completely non-responsive and clearly does not care about customers once the contract is signed. Before signing up, they hounded me nonstop--calls, messages, knocking on my door. Once I became a customer, service completely disappeared.
After leaving a negative review, they asked me to email them--which I have now done twice--and still no response.
This is, without question, the worst customer service experience I have had with any company in decades.
I strongly recommend NOT using Momentum Solar. Once they have your business, getting service is nearly impossible.
I've had nothing but frustration with Momentum Solar. My system has had a service issue for over six months, so I finally called to get help. I was told it would take 10-14 days just to get a service appointment, and that someone would call me back.
That timeframe has now passed, and no one has called. Reaching a live agent is extremely difficult, and when you do, there is no urgency or follow-through.
It's ironic how aggressive they were when trying to get me to sign up, but once you need support, you're essentially ghosted.
If you're considering solar, I strongly recommend choosing another company with better customer service and accountability.
I would highly discourage using Momentum Solar.
I am currently experiencing a production issue where 16 solar panels are not reporting or working, and getting support has been extremely frustrating. There is no way to contact a live person directly. Instead, you are forced into an endless loop of online chats and automated responses.
When I finally did reach someone, I was told their process takes 10-14 days before a service technician will even call, let alone come out to diagnose the issue. That is completely unacceptable for an active production problem.
This was by far the worst customer service experience I've ever had. There is no reason a company of this size cannot make or schedule a service call the same day for a system that is clearly not functioning properly.
I highly recommend staying away from Momentum Solar if you value responsiveness, accountability, and reliable service.

Momentum Solar is an absolute disgrace…
Momentum Solar is an absolute disgrace of a company. Hiring them was the biggest mistake I’ve ever made. They are liars, scammers, and completely incompetent. They damaged my trust, wasted my time, and treated me like I don’t matter at all. Their so-called “customer service” is nothing but excuses, empty promises, and a complete lack of accountability. Once they get your money, you’re on your own.
This company should be ashamed of how they operate. I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy. If you value your home, your sanity, and your wallet—stay far, FAR away from Momentum Solar. They are a nightmare, plain and simple.
Installed solar panels and they looked…
Installed solar panels and they looked used and beat up. called several times to no avail as their customer service is non existent. charged me for new panels that look used. They also make lots of false promises. was told my panels would cover 101% of my usage and its more like 65%. what a waste this has been and now im stuck with a much more expensive bill between the financing and the electric its not producing. Also the installer left water bottles stuffed in between the panels to show the poor workmanship. would not recommend at all.
This is my second review not a happy…
This is my second review not a happy camper with this company the service is not as promised I am paying now as much as I was paying with my electric company be careful when signing on.
Constantly calling and harassing me
Wow. They will not stop harassing me. Look at their BBB profile, I just left a review and apparently they have a problem calling and harassing a lot of people.
Don’t give them your number, 22 times they’ve called me since yesterday, several times and hour. They call more after I asked them to stop bothering me. Just hang up. Sick evil people I think just out if Their minds, I’m shocked at the thought I might have used them for solar. Absolute bottom of the barrel company i think To doo This to people. Next week I’ll have my new phone number, thankfully and they can’t harass me anymore

Momentum Solar Scams Clients
I got service from Momentum Solar last year. They promised my electric bill would go down with solar. I would be saving about $40.00 per month. I have been paying $10-20 dollars extra a month now since solar. They came or a man came and lied to my wife and I. This people are the scum of the earth. I called to complain and they told me the deal was for a cheaper electric bill but adding the solar the cost is high. I asked where my savings were, but they were rude and refused to help. They said I was stuck with the deal. I was stupid enough to increase my monthly electric bill. It is also almost impossible to sell the house. What mad person will want an added bill? They are lying thieves stay away from solar. It is not free like they say. It will end up costing you about $50,000.00 and an unsold home.
Pushy, pushy sales process, not terribly competent back office
Multiple pushy phone calls to agree to an on-site appointment, then no one showed up for that first appointment. At second appointment I explained structural issues with my roof (and no attic, so can’t make reinforcements), So, rep said she would send that info to her engineers. After waiting 15-20 minutes she showed me a diagram of panels on my very low-pitch roof on her tablet. The diagram misidentified how my roof slopes and where the ridges are, completely ignored my structural issues and violated state building code in a couple of ways. Evidently the “engineers“ were not that at all, we’re not qualified to of do actual structural analysis, and barely capable of just arranging panels on a roof. I ended the appointment and she looked like she was about to cry (I suspect their sales people are under tremendous pressure to sell every time). Later, I sent her an email asking to resolve the issues with my panel layout, but never heard back from her. Instead, I began to get a series of phone calls while I was on vacation trying to set me up with a new appointment with some new rep. I said that I was on vacation but they could call me after I got back but they persisted in trying to set up an appointment date. I told them we could talk and set that date up after I got home from vacation. Hung up the phone and a few hours later I got a call from a different person trying to set up this appointment. The same story, hung up the phone and several hours later I got a call from another person trying to set up the appointment. I tried again to get them to leave me alone until I got back from vacation and hung up the phone. A day or two later a fourth person called! I finally managed to get them to stop calling until I returned home. I got a call several days after I had returned home — this person tried to set up an appointment, would not listen to my questions about the layout I had been given and why I had received no response, and then she angrily ended the call because I was not able to guarantee that both my wife and I would be at the appointment. They don’t seem to be competent, and they are pushy as hell when it comes to their sales process. There are probably a dozen other solar companies in my area and a few I have dealt with seem to be very knowledgeable and have reasonable sales professionals — they will get my business before Momentum any day.
I had a bad experience with Momentum…
I had a challenging experience with Momentum Solar. While the installation process went smoothly and the technicians were very professional, we encountered issues with our solar panels after just a year of use. A technician came to assess the situation and identified that the problem stemmed from the Enphase micro inverters.
One aspect that was frustrating was that Momentum Solar initially voided our warranty because we didn't purchase or install our battery system through them. They also required a $400 service fee before examining our system. However, we later found out that our warranty had not actually been voided, which was a relief.
Ultimately, we decided to work with another company to resolve the issue, which turned out to be a positive step. This experience highlighted the importance of understanding warranty terms and exploring multiple options for service.
Company run by monkeys
Company run by monkeys , they don’t show up for appointments scheduled to fix their mistakes installing solar panels not complying with city codes and failing twice city inspection, not owning their mistakes and not fixing on my convenience schedule because we also work for a living.
THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!
THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!
The salesmen pretended to review our account statements from the electric company that we have (SECO), in order to draw up an “accurate” offer based on our average consumption. He lied to us stating that per our statements, our average was 10,253 kWh and he was going to install panels that would cover 10,590 kWh. According to this offer he developed, we accepted and signed.
After the installation, we noticed that the panels were barely covering any of our consumption. We made several attempts to address this situation but we were just told to wait about a year to be able to see the benefits. It’s been over a year now and the situation has only gotten worse. We continue to pay the same amount on our electric bill from before the panels were installed PLUS the cost of the panels. This time we decided to contact SECO (our electric company) directly for help, and they told us that our consumption has always been 15,886 kWh, even prior to the panels. SECO explained that this would have been seen in our account statements that we provided the solar panel company. Therefore, the salesman falsified the consumption amount on our contract to provide a price that would get us to buy, knowing that this would not cover our consumption and we would be forced to pay more for additional panels in the end.
Despite Momentum Solar having made this error on our contract, they continue to tell us that the only solution is to pay for more panels.
Be very careful and do your research. There are a lot of great and genuine solar panel companies out there that are not trying to scam you, but once you sign with Momentum Solar you will be stuck and ripped off!!!!
I really hope this company goes belly…
I really hope this company goes belly up. I have never been deceived more by a sales representative in my entire life, as I have with this company. All of the important information given by the representative has turned out to be lies or misleading. This is the second time I am writing about this company and I will continue to try and warn people of the lies that they decieve consumers with. Here are the items I was deceived about:
1. I was told by the sales person that I would not need to hold additional insurance on my homeowners policy since my solar system would not be large enough to require it. That was a lie and I had to carry an additional $1 million in liability.
2. I was told my system would be installed and running within 1 month and it took 6 months. They began charging me for the system before it was even producing energy.
3. I was told there would not be any out of pocket expenses but I was told by my electric company that I needed to pay to have the net metering device installed.
4. I was told that the whole incentive payment(tax credit)can be used to put toward the cost of the system or i could chose to keep it and use it as I wished. The sales man even went as far to tell me a story about a customer that used the credit to take a vacation. He told me that if I use the credit to pay towards the solar system, my monthly bill would remain the same. If I chose to keep the credit and not pay it towards the system, my monthly bill would go up depending on how much I decide to keep and that I had 1 year to decide how I would like to use the incentive payment. I found out when I filed my taxes that this is a tactic these companies use. The sales person was not only misleading but lied directly about the tax credit. There is no way to apply the credit towards the cost like he said and now I am stuck with a payment that went up an additional $200 per month. I will make it my lifes mission to expose this company for the liars and cheats they really are.
Fast talking kid would not e mail me…what I asked for was the equipment they would use , he was no good fast talker, not professional !!!
Fast talking kid would not e mail me any info .. scammer
I asked him to e mail me info !! Wanted to come with no appointment and just ignored my requests …went on internet and saw lots of bad reviews of Momentum .too
Two weeks ago Momentum Solar install…
Two weeks ago Momentum Solar install the first layer for my solar panel. It rained and now my roof is leaking in more than one area. It was difficult contacting anyone because my call went unanswered. Once I was able to make contact i made my complain. I called each day since and is getting the runaround. I was told on Monday 10/2/23 that managers are in a meeting and will return my call. No one from the company has the decency to return my calls. I am still not able to speak with anyone in management. It will be raining again this weekend and I know the situation will get worse with wetting. I never had leaking in my roof prior to the installation. They are the worst company I have ever had to deal with.
I got a second visit from them only…
I got a second visit from them only because they advertised under a different name. I explained that I did not go with them the first time because the agent did not want me to see the contract before signing it, He said he understood and would send me a copy of the contract, but offered me a lower rate if I signed right now. I knew then it was a scam. I never got the contract sent to me because they knew if I read it, I would not agree. They push to get you to sign on the first visit. There is a red flag. This has scam written all over it.
Updated review!
I should not even give this company momentum a star. We got solar panels with momentum & it has been twice that our panels quit working our electric bill was $455.00 last month. We keep on calling they put us on hold & they are hard to get in touch with, don’t call you back & you don’t get any resolve and they hang up on you. I think that I’m going to get with my lawyer.
Update! Joe Bellaccumo called us and had someone come out and fix the issue! Big thank you to him!
Installing solar panels is suppose to…
Installing solar panels is suppose to save you money right? Not at this company. The slick salesman said we were leasing the panels for $65 a month. Well each month we pay more and more, and it is not yet summer in Las Vegas, Nevada. Scared to see a summer bill from them.
Con Artists
I clicked on the link that claimed "Florida governor will pay for your solar panels if you live in these Florida zip codes. Enter your zip code to see if you qualify." I entered my zip code. They asked for my email and phone number. I reluctantly complied. Next, Momentum Solar is calling me to set up an appointment to provide me with an estimate because (of course!) my zip code doesn't qualify for "free" solar - no zip code in Florida does. I agreed to an appointment to get an extra proposal to compare to the proposals from other companies my husband and I interviewed. We could not get their salesman to provide us with any actual proposal! He kept talking about no money down, immediate monthly savings of $20 regardless of how much debt we would have to take on, etc. etc. etc. Once we told him we would not sign anything today no matter what, he started calling his manager - just like a used car salesman! After 2 hours of this we asked him to leave. He did not leave for another half an hour. Then he did leave but did not propose anything in writing. If you find yourself falling for the "immediate $20 a month savings" by signing to $47,000.00 loan, please think again! You can least afford to be tricked by this company into taking a horrendous debt. You can get a much bigger and better solar system for a much, much, much lesser price.
They call me constantly
They call me constantly. I've told them repeatedly I'm not interested. I've blocked several different numbers they call from. They leave many voicemails. I finally called them and told them to remove me from their call list or I would report them and sue.
Telemarking Sucks
Man, these people call me morning, noon and night for almost a year now. I block them everytime. This sucks!!
