Very nice and will like to buy again

Great product, easy to install and so good looking! It upgraded my TV room!!

I like the acoustic panels very much. They are good quality, strong materials, had no problem cutting and installing them. They cut well with different saws, across and along the length. I’m happy with how they look after all is installed and the packaging and delivery were good. The only thing I’d improve is the clarity around the color of the thin felt options - I chose the lighter one thinking it’s a light grey, and it is white. Also, I’d suggest offering clean a bit of felt (without any wood / MDF ) for complicated installs. Overall happy with my purchase.

I’m still waiting for the panels but my experience so far has been annoying with the customer service.

I found their really nice looking matching felt panels (most panels come with black felt) and placed an order using Black Friday discount. They even gave an option for extra 2.5 percent discount if I pay directly which I did.

So far so good. Now when I asked them how long it would take for the panels to come, I receive a very standard response that it depends on the product that takes longest time to be available. It’s clear they don’t look at my product because it’s only one product that I ordered. They could have at least personalised the response based on what I ordered.

And since the delivery timeline is so broad, and since it’s holiday time, I requested them if they could contact me before shipping the product, so I could make sure it doesn’t fall during my travel period and to my shock I get a response saying that they have no way of contacting me before shipping.

That must be a joke, because if it’s a small (or even a big business), they should have control over when they send it or to send it later if I’m not available for a week. I understand there is probably a logistic partner, but how hard is it to just mail me when the order is ready to be shipped.

Shows total lack of professionalism. But I’ll wait to see the product before reducing or increasing the rating. But safe to say, for now it’s a 1 star experience.

I cannot emphasize how terrible my experience has been with this company.

They failed to deliver my product more than three times, and were beyond unhelpful in fixing the issue. They left me in a very hard position while I am in the middle of renovating my apartment.

1. First time, they did not give me a delivery date (they only gave an estimate of 7-14 days) and ended up delivering during a time I was not home. They canceled the delivery without even notifying me.

2. Second time, I asked them to call me 30 minutes before the delivery to ensure I would be home. They confirmed that they would call me. They did not call me, and tried to deliver while I was away, and the delivery failed again.

3. The third time, I WAS at home. They claimed that they rang the bell, which I highly doubt is true because I did not hear anything. AGAIN they canceled the delivery.

4. I told them that at this point, I do not care whether I am home or not, ' please leave the panels at the door'. They said they would. Five days after the supposed NEW delivery date, there was still no news from the delivery. I had to reach out to customer service twice before they responded to inform me that they cannot deliver due to the delivery method I chose. Apparently, even though they confirmed that they would leave the panels at the door if no one answered the door, they refuse to leave packages at the door.

A normal company that delivers large items should call the customer when they cannot reach them at the door before returning the product. I have been postponing my apartment's renovation plans for the fourth time simply because Momento Akustic refuses to provide a bare minimum of communication.

This is incredibly unprofessional and inconsiderate. I am a person with a 9-5 job who has to be in the office every day. I cannot simply work from home whenever this company feels like dropping by, especially when they do not provide proper delivery dates or times for me to plan my day, nor call when they cannot reach me at the door.

Ordered three weeks ago and still not shipped. On the website it said that articles were available.
No proactive information on delivery delay.
Can't say anything about quality yet but will give an update.

Quality is not as it seems, after first cutting the board, it started falling apart. Stripes are also not wooden but some compressed material that is easily chipped.
I would not recommended it nor will I buy it again.

The products were exactly as advertised and described. I’ll definitely buy more if they choose a better delivery partner!

All great, order arrived within two days, thank you

Placed an order, never received the items. Emails were ignored. Now having to try and get money back

I ordered more than 6 panels for the bedroom of my 2 year old child and since I have installed them the entire room smells even with several windows open for the full days.

It has been more than a week and the smell does not go away.

It is impossible for anyone to stay in the room for several minutes and ofcourse not possible for my child to sleep there during the night.

We had to move my child out of the room for all these days, hoping that eventually the smell will go away, which has not happened.

This does not seem like a natural wood smell but rather a very strong MDF smell.

Couple of days ago I contacted Momento Customer service in good will to ask if this a known issue and if there is something I can do as treatment to fix it. This is what I wrote: "Hi Team, I hope all is well.Aw yave installed the panels, however there is a strong smell that persists in the room for some days now and it appears to be coming from the wood stripes.
Is there any guidance about that and is it a common issue?
Thank you"

Instead of any advice, their customer service was not helpful and got very defensive. This is their reply:
" vielen Dank für Ihre Mail.

Wir haben unseren Lagerbestand geprüft und können keinen unnatürlichen Geruch an den Paneelen feststellen.
Wöchentlich verkaufen wir mehrere tausend Paneele, die ausser einem natürlichen Holzgeruch keine unnatürliche Gerüche absondern.

All unsere Paneele sind Formaldehydfrei und unsere Rohstoffzulieferer sind FSC Zertifiziert.

Die Filzmatten bestehen aus verfilzten PET-Fasern und sind geruchslos.
Die Lameelen bestehen aus MDF Platten, die unter der erforderlichen EU-Norm liegen.
Der verwendete Kleber ist ein naturfreundlicher Kleber, frei von Schadstoffen.

Laut der Weltgesundheitsorganisation (WHO) kann Formaldehyd bereits ab einer Konzentration von 0,03 mg/m³ wahrgenommen werden. In Innenräumen sollte der Formaldehydwert unter 0,1 ppm (0,12 mg/m³) liegen, um kein signifikantes Krebsrisiko zu haben. Dieser Wert wurde 2006 vom Bundesinstitut für Risikobewertung (BfR) überprüft und bestätigt.
Um die Blaue Engel Zertifizierung zu erhalten, muss der Formaldehydgehalt unter 0,055 mg/m³ liegen. Unsere Firma in Flensburg legt großen Wert auf Umweltfreundlichkeit und Sicherheit. Deshalb investieren wir in MDF-Platten der Klasse E0, die kein Formaldehyd enthalten. Auch der Klebstoff, den wir für die Befestigung der Lamellen an recyceltem PET-Filz verwenden, ist formaldehydfrei.

Wir können leider nicht erklären woher der angegebene Geruch stammen soll, wir können aber ausschliessen, dass unsere Paneele eine unnatürliche Ausdunstung haben.

Wir können aus den o.g. Gründen Ihre Reklamation leider nur ablehnen."
