I made an order 7/11-23. Still haven’t recieved it, and I don’t think I will. Customer “service” is not helpful. I have now asked to get the order cancelled, and my money bank. If this doesn’t happen, I thougt Moleskine was a more serious, service and quality minded company. But unfortunately not.

Beware undisclosed customs taxes outside EU
Ordered from Swiss website, and when I received the order I aslo received an expensive bill for customs, on top of their already expensive shipping fee.
Nowhere along the path to payment did it specify the order was coming from outside of CH. Given the 30% markup on price due to customs, it would be more transparent and fair to disclose this when ordering, or at least have one international website instead of masquerading presence in multiple countries. By having a "Swiss" website, it will of course be expected that Moleskine manage trade in Switzerland.
Beautiful items but a shame that the company uses deception to sell them while imposing extra costs on their customers :(
Very low quality spectacle frames
Very low quality spectacle frames. All design and no substance. Legs fall off after a couple of months and because of hinge design cannot be repaired. Luckily my optician replaced the frame… the same thing happened again. Avoid.

Oh how I wish I’d read these reviews first ! I ordered an expensive bag for my son’s birthday 10 days ago . It said it was dispatched 9 days ago and yet the tracking is not showing anything and Yodel say it’s not with them . I have contacted customer services several times and to date have had one standard reply . I even rang the store at Regent street to see if they could help - Mark said he would try and send my complaint to the relevant person- that’s when I got the standard reply . I am so frustrated. I would really just like my money back now . I have NEVER had problems like this before online . It’s appalling
Will take your money and run
Customer care is useless. Have been promised a delivery date that came and went with no sign of promised tracking number, inquired with customer care, who then said they ‘forwarded my query to the relevant department’. Excuse me? Surely the one question that customer care can answer is where the heck my item is. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had shopping online.

Told I would receive a tracking number 48 hours after I placed the order, its now been 12 days! Customer service can't even advise when its going to be dispatched.

Do Not order online!
Please be aware not to order online from Moleskine if you are in the UK. All of the products are shipped from Italy and you are not allowed to return the products to their stores in UK. It is NOT mentioned anywhere on their website the shipping is overseas and their Return&Refund sounds like it’s a piece of cake to do so, which isn’t.
The amount of wasted resources for this delivery is staggering. If I knew about this I would purchase the products from the store. What a hassle and a huge disappointment. I’ve been shopping at Moleskine for years but this was the first time online experience. Never Again!
THE MOBSKINE REVIEW
I've contacted Moleskine directly a number of times only to be brushed off. After sending my order back to their Italian warehouse they didn't even collect it from customs - resulting in it being returned to the UK, months later. I asked for a refund the same day my order arrived in November 2021... The whole process (now in March) of returning a product has been slow and painful. Mobskine aren't worth the online fishery - buy from elsewhere or avoid altogether IMO.
Could not even place order
It was not even possible to place order (looking at reviews, maybe I was the lucky one). When filling in credit card details (numbers), the error message was "wrong format" - how can a number be wrong format?....I could of course have tried spelling the number instead ;)
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service! They sent me a wrong item, not what I ordered. I have been waiting for a week now from Rachelle from CS for an answer. I paid express delivery. If they send you the wrong item and are not able to fulfil your order as requested they should be able to give you a full refund easily. Otherwise, I call this a fraud! They are wasting my time and money!
Delivery woes
As with reviews above, extremely disappointing. Ordered a diary on Dec 15, account debited on Dec 16. Scheduled to arrive on Dec 24. It is Jan 8 now- and still no diary. Customer service of the cut and paste variety mentioned above. I would have expected a lot more from a company that had a good reputation.
I used to buy Moleskine watercolour…
I used to buy Moleskine watercolour books because the paper was decent enough you could paint on both sides. No longer: the paper quality has changed, paint bleeds through and the paper curls up. Too expensive to buy again.
Should have gone to TK Maxx and bought discounted old stock
I should have read the reviews, quite possibly the worst shopping experience I’ve had. Ordered a note book 14.12 for Xmas. It still has not been delivered. Emailed and Tweeted customer ‘services’. I received the same ‘cut and paste’ response as every other disgruntled customer it seems, all the right words, but no factual information as to the location of my parcel.
Horrible customer service
I bought a backpack from their website, which didn't work out for me. After paying the hefty shipping to send it back, I followed all of their lengthy instructions to return, including sending them the tracking info. I followed up once the package arrived, but I have not heard anything further. I have followed up several times with no response. At this point, I have written off the $100 and wish I had seen some of these other reviews before I bought.

The most useless customer service bar none. I have a faulty pen. Their customer service say I can choose something of THE EXACT value! Anything more I can’t pay the difference and I can’t choose anything of lower value. I can’t replace the defective pen when it is in stock. So basically the warranty is absolutely useless. What a sham. This is what you call a pile of **** organisation. The reputation is worthless unless you follow through with actions. Stop buying this ****.
Better late than never, I guess..
My order from Italy to Malta took 20 days to deliver. I emailed them multiple times and they responded within a few hours each time with a link to the shipment tracking page, but I still struggle to understand why 2 little notebooks took such a long time to get to me.
The ‘track my order’ button that was sent initially never worked, but they sent me a new link so that I could keep an eye on where my order was.
Once it finally arrived, I was very satisfied with the products. I love moleskine but I’d suggest buying their products in a brick and mortar store if only purchasing a limited number of products.
Moleskine, I’d suggest you either update your expected delivery times so that customers anticipate weirdly long delivery times, or work with better shipping companies.

Horrible costumer service
Awful costumer service! I've purchased two travel book lights from their Belgian website and one of them was not working right of the package. I've sent them an email complaining and asking for a refund. They've replied the next day, asking for a video proving that the light was not working (!!!). I'm nice and sent them the video anyway. Complete silence from their side, until I re-upped the email and they complained about the format of the video (!!!!!!!). I then lost my patience and let them know that per EU regulation they needed to refund me without a video, because their productive is defective from delivery. Now they've just replied saying that I can't return it (I would have to cover the costs) because I don't fit the requirements - without specifying which, and I do fit them. I've issued a complaint with the customer defense, what a joke. And completely unexpected coming from a brand that is supposed to be high-level products. I'm never buying anything from Moleskine again and neither should you.
