We vinden het belangrijk dat je weet waar je aan toe bent. Daarom nemen we vooraf alles goed met je door en spreken we duidelijk af wat we gaan doen en wanneer. Zo kom je niet voor verrassingen te staan. Tijdens het hele traject heb je één vast aanspreekpunt. De badkamer wordt geplaatst door onze eigen monteurs, die dit werk elke dag doen. Gaat er iets mis of heb je achteraf een vraag? Dan lossen we dat voor je op. Omdat we willen dat je met een gerust gevoel kiest, zijn we CBW-erkend. Dat betekent: duidelijke voorwaarden en extra zekerheid. Zo kun jij gewoon uitkijken naar je nieuwe badkamer.

We willen dat je met een gerust gevoel kiest voor een nieuwe badkamer. Daarom maken we duidelijke afspraken en laten we je niet zitten als de badkamer eenmaal is geplaatst.

  • CBW-erkend: heldere voorwaarden en extra zekerheid als er toch iets misgaat.
  • Goede garanties: tot 15 jaar garantie op wand- en vloerpanelen, 5 jaar op kranen, plafonds en douchevloeren en 2 jaar op de installatie.
  • Veilig douchen: douchevloeren met de hoogste antislipwaarde in de markt.
  • Goede materialen: we werken alleen met betrouwbare A-merken zoals Hansgrohe, Geberit en Kermi.
  • Vakkundige plaatsing: uitgevoerd door onze eigen, intern opgeleide monteurs.

Absolute disaster with Molenaar

My experience with Molenaar was an absolute disaster. The bathroom renovation had to be redone multiple times due to a series of issues.

During the initial attempt, they broke the ventilation system, improperly installed the wall panels, and left various parts unfinished. Additionally, they made the water meter reader inaccessible, didn't reconnect the washing machine drain, and left exposed wires in several places.

After waiting for months for the fixes, they returned, only to make more mistakes. They installed the wrong-sized pipe connecting to the washing machine, resulting in flooding after washing. There were also issues with incorrect electrical and water tap connections, and a socket was placed in a completely unusable location.

Their professionalism was severely lacking, with endless problems, including cutting pipes inside my living room.

I ordered the bathroom in June 2023 with a promised delivery date in October 2023, but it wasn't finalized until April 2024.

I'm uncertain if my treatment was due to being a non-Dutch, single, young female. Though I tried to communicate in Dutch, it was challenging with technical aspects. Furthermore, nobody in the company speaks English.

Despite the delay and terrible experience, they sent me a FULL PRICE invoice without any discount.

Is this the standard for Molenaar?

We are truly sorry for the inconvenience you experienced, in the installation of you bathroom. You are correct: we needed a couple of service visits, to solve all the issues. We can only imagine that this caused some discomfort to you and your housemates. As far as we can see, all issues has been solved now.

As of the language barrier: this is always inconvenient. We have tried to e-mail you in English a couple of times, but on other occasions we spoke Dutch with you. We understand that communication in a language other than one's native tongue can be challenging, especially during technical projects like bathroom renovations. As a Dutch company, our primary language of communication is Dutch. We appreciate your feedback and will strive to improve our communication practices to better serve all our customers. Thank you for sharing your experience, and we aim to make the situation better for you.

Our Customer Service team will reach out to you next week to discuss the unfortunate course of events and propose a solution to alleviate the inconvenience you've experienced. Satisfied with the results.

It is possible to renovate the shower in one day. The two plumbers were very professional, very clean, fast. They arrived earlier than expected. They fixed everything as planned. I like the new materials and the quality of them. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone else who is in need. The only downside is long waiting time, but I was aware of it. So, if you are in a hurry, make up your mind as soon as possible, this will shorten the waiting.
