Ordered a dress a month ago and it still hasn’t shipped. Customer service answered email once out of four tries to tell me they take 5 days to respond, they had a lot of order volume, had no idea when they’d ship the item, gave no way to cancel and get a refund, and asked me not to dispute the credit card transaction. So I’m disputing it, naturally.

A uniquely beautiful dress ordered in mid-February. Indicated delivery March 7-14, but no tracking number for order.
March 30: no dress and still no tracking number, estimated delivery date now somewhere mid-late April.
Six weeks to not even ship order? No ‘Sorry, dreadful weather; sorry, delivery truck was hijacked; sorry, ran out of wrapping paper and shipping labels…’. No excuse or apology for delays.
Unacceptable.
On the positive side—canceled the order by email, response w/in 24 hours and refund to credit card (verified). So gave a second star for the quick response, but can’t recommend the company.
Interestingly, my order still shows as ‘pending’ with delivery mid-May!

Awful experience. Outfit was supposed to have an asymmetrical hemline however, it did not. It was huge and the material was not quality based upon price. In order to send the outfit back for a refund, I had to send it back to China at my cost although that was not on their website that the items purchased and sent from the US had to be returned from the US to China . This is in my opinion a deterrent to keep people from returning items. I paid $1 79.00 for the outfit and the cost for returning the item for a refund was $75.00 even though the outfit was not as described. I sent them pictures showing them that the item was not the item described in their advertisement, but that didn't matter. The outfits look beautiful online but not in person. Will never buy from China again. This is my 3 and last time ever ordering from China again.

I placed an order on February 26 for a linen jumpsuit that I wanted for spring break. I did not receive the item until April 16, well after Spring Break. Th jumpsuit did not fit because it was too tight on top and too baggy on the bottom.
When I requested my return, they only wanted to do an exchange. It took a lot of back and forth to get a return address. They wanted me to keep the item and give a 20% refund. GRRRR. The return must be paid for by me. I am sure it will be pricey.
I will never order from this company again.

I purchased two linen jumpsuits (a black one and a brown one) from Modesees. The black one fit but the brown one did not—both are size S. The company said I had to return jumpsuit at my own expense; it cost me $35 and will take 3-4 weeks. They will not provide a refund until the item reaches them even though they originally said they would start the refund once they received the tracking. I will never buy from them or directly from China again. The hassle and poor customer service is not worth it. I wish I had done my research about the company before purchasing.

I had a very disappointing experience with Modesees. I placed an order for a dress on 12th March and never received any confirmation or updates about my purchase. Despite reaching out multiple times, I got absolutely no response from their customer service.
It was only after I escalated the issue through PayPal that they finally contacted me. Shockingly, instead of resolving the issue professionally, I was told by someone named July that I would need to withdraw my complaint before they could issue a refund. That is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
I refused to withdraw my complaint, as this approach felt very dishonest. Customers should not have to chase companies or be pressured into dropping disputes just to get their money back.
Please be very careful when dealing with this company. My experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.

Absolutely do NOT order from this company!!! I purchased $588.75 in product on 2/19/26 to treat myself as a fulltime student, wife and mother and was really excited to receive the items. When it finally arrived, the quality, construction and sizing was NOTHING as described. I wear a size 6 so I am not hard to fit.
I immediately reached out and spoke to July who assured me if I paid to return the items I would get a refund. I paid $162.42 to ship the items back to China after asking several times over several days for a return address. I was given the address 3/12. I shipped the items 3/13. They have received my items. July told me on 4/2/26 that she would refund my money in 48hrs. Today is 4/14/2026 and I still do not have my money back. She begged me ("I am very sorry for the inconvenience. Please don't bring up the dispute. We will refund you within 48h.") not to report it to my bank as fraud with a promise to do the right thing only to push me past my banks period to file fraud.
I am out over $750 with this fraudulent company. Please do NOT make the same mistake. The quality is not there. The integrity is not there. The refund policy is not there. I've spoken to a July and Sylvia neither did what they said they would do. I am so upset and disappointed with this company when I did everything I was supposed to to rectify this in an amicable way.
Update: they update asking me to reach out to the same email that has been lying to me for over a month. Give me my money back! That's the ONLY way you can help. I emailed earlier today with no response but you are putting this cookie cutter response here.

They are scammers, I brought two items and only received one and it was too small I wanted to make an return/exchange but this company does not provided a way to make a return or exchange . Please do not buy from them you are giving away your money . This is shameful somebody needs to do something about this.

First off I want to share what beautiful fabrics and garments Modesees carries… The designs are beautiful! I ordered a black jumpsuit, the size I ordered was not right for me. I contacted the company quickly, and they were so gracious completely service oriented and taking care of the situation beautifully! I was very impressed and I look forward to purchasing more in the future with this company!

I was contacted regarding the difficulty in returning an item I received. I was informed that I could have the item in another size for free and not to return the one I have. I was shocked and pleasantly surprised. I have accepted their offer and await the outfit in the correct size. It was so nice of them.
