This APP will automatically charge you…

Update (2025-08-25):
After calling the hotline and explained the background. Mobill updated my payment, take away 29kr paper invoice and I got digital invoice with only parking fee. Thanks.

This APP will automatically charge you 29kr for the invoice!!! Personally I think This is Fraud!!! This is not acceptable at all!!!

Story:
I went to Smörgen on Saturday (2025-08-02) and parked my car at one of Mobill parking place. I carefully read the message and download the app by scan the QR code from the blue metal plate. And then follow the steps to input my car license plate number and parking ground code, then choose 3 hours parking time, then "start parking". After I finished and I click on the Mobill app "stop parking". It finishes. During the whole way, there is NO message or option tells you which payment method to choose. When you click stop parking, it automatically send an invoice to you and charge you 29kr. This is not big money but the feeling is bad. and kind of Fraud, not acceptable at all.

Suggestion: Please change your Mobill app and give the customer option to choose which payment method they want. (Especially the FIRST time to use your app) NOT Mobill help the customer to choose the paper invoice and charge them 29kr. This is not correct.

Worst parking app I’ve used

Worst parking app I’ve used. It’s lackfullness caused me a parking fine.
And when I complained, I was faced with a Kafkaesque system build up around the whole parking system.

I parked my car near the Etnografiska museum in Stockholm and Mobill simply lacked the overlay showing my parking area in the app. This caused me to choose a wrong area (very close to my parking space) and pay for my parking.

When I later filed a complaint, the company giving the fine stated I should complain to Mobill. Mobill then stated I should complain to the land owner.

I have phoned Mobill. They told me to write to “kund at mobill.se” and have never answered this mail.
What a joke of a company, and what a system they support in robbing innocent people of their money.

They should have zero or negative stars

Incompetence and entrapment.

My experience with [Mobill] has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Despite my timely and proactive communication regarding a parking fine, my account was sent to a debt agency without any notice or transparency. A high up their representative from the company, not only failed to inform me of this action but also refused to acknowledge any errors on their part.

Throughout the process, I communicated clearly and promptly, expecting a fair resolution. Instead, their approach was dismissive and unprofessional, deflecting responsibility and refusing to address his own mistakes. Rather than assisting a customer who was actively working to resolve the situation, the company opted for an aggressive debt escalation process.

This kind of entrapment and lack of accountability highlights a major lack of integrity. It’s unfortunate that instead of resolving matters with customers directly, [Mobill] seems more focused on shifting blame and creating further issues. I strongly advise others to avoid this company if you’re looking for professionalism and reliability.

Avoid this App at all costs: the worst parking app ever, incompetent customer service

The review could have been 0/5 if possible, the company doesn't deserve 1 star. I've been in contact with their customer service - it's also the worst experience, they don't want to acknowledge bugs in their application and their invoicing flow, instead saying you are dumb, and put their problems on you, you pay for that. Don't believe me? - just read up on all the comments here, or at Google Reviews, the fresh ones, and the ones from 3 years ago.. There have been no improvement past 3 years. I used their service once and will avoid at all costs. I will request my data to be removed according to GDPR, no more relations with such ugly business.

I had my debit card added to their system, and used the parking app the single time, 17SEK for the parking. Instead of using my bank card, some days later they silently sent a paper invoice (which, BTW, also costs money). For some reason, the invoice was never delivered to my post inbox. No SMS, no email notifications, nothing, just silently, instead of using my bank card they sent me a paper invoice. Then another company, Billogram, sent me an SMS, that I had a debt at Mobill, + they added a reminder fee (påminnelse), and going to send me to collectors, if I didn't pay it within a ~week(!!). That's how 17 SEK are now at 80 SEK.

One should avoid Mobill Scandinavia AB at all costs. There are better parking applications, with a normal customer experience, transparent billing, and good customer service. Mobill shouldn't exist with such an attitude to their customers and deserve 0 stars for their service. The application itself is raw, buggy, bad UIX, and it seems was done quick and dirty!

Avoid this app at all cost

Avoid this app at all cost! I had to download it and use it because the machine was out of order and no other parking apps I have worked in that area. I used it and shortly after registered my bank account to make sure they could draw the money automatically (I realised it would be a one time use of this app so I just wanted the process of paying to be smooth).

Then got a reminder fee, so an invoice that was originally of 82 kr was now 150 kr. Great! I tried contacting them for days without any response. Wanted to know why they did not draw the money automatically (like all other parking apps I have). No response and then a week later it was sent to Debt collection. So a 83kr parking cost me now 320 kr.

Borderline illegal operation and please do be careful using this service and do not assume it will be a nice experience like other parking apps.

The worst parking app ever!!!SPAM!!!

I have been trying to pay a parking fee for almost 2 months and it's so painful and draining my energy.
The most terrible application I have ever used. I can't pay through the app, the mail they claimed they've sent never reached me, and the email the customer service said they've sent not in my email box(not in the junk box ofc, I checked),. It's unbelievable how much incompetence there is. I would rather pay the parking fine than using this application again!!

Purposely makes machines not work so…

Purposely makes machines not work so they can scam a fee from you and then attempt to explain you give them your card information. Any city who allows this has poor leadership. Mobill must be dismantled. If you own stock in them then you should sell. They are a scam.company run and operated by liars and thieves.
