Unchained connectivity. Pure Viking power!

I've been a Viking for 4945 days now (about 13 and a half years), so nearly from the beginning. I've been sailing the drakar ever since and am very happy about it. Very good data plans and since half a year we've got internet from Mobile Vikings also. No complaints!

No internet after 1 month and promises

We are very disappointed with the service. Our installation appointment has been rescheduled no less than three times, even though we were promised during the purchase that everything would be arranged quickly. It has now been over a month, and things are still not in order.

The communication is frustrating: one customer support representative says they can’t do anything, while another promises a quick resolution – none of these promises have been kept.

This makes us feel like customer service and commitments are not being taken seriously. We expected much more professionalism and reliability.

Glad we changed to BASE, the internet was provided in 3 days after ordering, and the internet is fast enough since the internet comes via Telenet.

Stay away!

Mobile Vikings is a great chill provider

Mobile Vikings is a chill company that doesn't make your life complicated. Quite opposite. They help me make my bills cheaper with some of their actions. Everything is dealt easily online. Their app is very understandable.
Just a good mobile phone provider

Easy, cheap, responsive

Easy to set up the Mobile Viking SIM card and the internet at home. Price is cheaper than other provides. Support is easy to reach and very responsive.

Awful charge and helpdesk

I used a prepaid SIM from Mobile Vikings from Oct 2020 - Sep 2023 when I worked in Belgium. I left for good since then and stopped using the SIM card on 28 Sep 2023. After almost 2 years, I received an email with a letter from a law firm, stating that I have a fine from Mobile Vikings (40 euro) that is long overdue, and if I don't pay the fine in 14 days, there will be serious legal actions against me. I wrote back and never get a reply. I contacted the helpdesk of Mobile Vikings, and got a reply that they cannot assist me since my case is already with the law firm. I asked if they can officially terminate my account, even though on the website, they stated that prepaid SIM will be terminated as long as we stop topping up. I don't want them to see me as their client and keep sending me a fine years later thinking that I use their service without paying. He never replies. It's ridiculous and horrible to be charged after I left a country for 2 years, and I have NEVER received any message, email or letter that I was continue being charged by Mobile Vikings. If I pay the fine this time, is Mobile Vikings going to repeat it, since they NEVER want to guarantee that everything will be settled as long as I pay this fine? Terrible and dirty!

Hi Chin, I'm very sorry for the experience you've had. However, I see that you had a postpaid SIM, and not a prepaid SIM, that means that you receive bundles each month, together with an invoice. Due to open invoices, you received an invoice from an incasso firm. You should also have receive multiple reminders regarding these open invoices.

A decade of Viking

Mobile vikings gave me a prepaid SIM when others stopped offering it, saving me money. They let me get a SIM for an overseas friend visiting without paying through the nose for roaming. No fuss, just easy and fast. At the same rates or better than my previous operator.

I have been a Mobile Vikings client for…

I have been a Mobile Vikings client for some years now. Never had problems with my prepaid card. However, recently, I have tried to switch my Internet subscription from Proximus to Mobile Vikings, encountering many issues - poor technical support and follow up, as there seemed to be a problem with my address. I have tried for months to follow up and resolve the issue with the support, but no solution was provided - just the promise that Vikings will take care of it internally. So I gave up on it, which was really dissappointing.

1 month later... still no internet

Made an appointment to have Fiber installed on my adress. 1st appointment was cancelled without any notification. 2nd appointment got me a technician who can't do welding. Now they require me to make a 3th appointment to get this correct technician at my adress...
