I recently visited the Mobexpert store…

I recently visited the Mobexpert store in Iași, located in the Moldova Mall, where I placed an order for a fotoliu (armchair). I believed that our communication with the representative who handled my order was clear. However, I regret not verifying the details on the order confirmation paper, trusting instead in the professionalism of the staff.
To my surprise, when the product was delivered to my home, I received a completely different item. When I returned to the store to explain the situation, the staff denied any mistake on their part and only offered to exchange the product for an additional payment of 800 RON. I recognize that it may be difficult to prove that the mistake originated from their end, but I suggested that they could review the store's security footage to see which products I was examining during my visit.They should revise the customer care strategies.

Excellent furniture

They offer the best furniture out there. I have furnished most of my apartment with their pieces, and I’ve always had a good experience with them. Whenever I had a problem, they were prompt to fix it.

Does not honor the warranty

Had a problem with a garden ratan sofa. Requested it to be repaired under 2 years warranty on May 9th. They responded on May 28th way after the 15 days legal timeframe that they won't honor the warranty because they don't know how the sofa was used. I would've expected more from a big company.

In this time, I had to mail and message them in order to get an answer, otherwise they wouldn't even care. There is no way to see the status of a issue on their site, only trying to communicate with the support via a generic email that nobody can provide a clear answer.

Poor quality work

Poor quality work , nice design but materials and work are dezastruos order 5000 euro on furniture that really it should be 2000 ,

Bad customer experience

Poor customer experience for handling the return of products. Once you place an order on their site it is compulsory to send the item back to the store that shipped you the product, without any prior knowledge of its location, which could be across the country for all that matters.

Poor customer relationship

We bought a luxury bed for 1000€ last month, then we went to buy a mattress for 1100€ more, and we saw that they now propose at -15% offer if you buy them together.
So we gently asked if we could get a discount on the mattress, at least half of the 15%, since this would be a good order in total, 2100€.

The answer was that the offer was only for the clients that bought both together once.
They propsed us a 5% voucher valable on the decoration section.

We were asking 7.5% voucher, so arround 400lei, they denied for a difference of 125lei... and at the end, this would not cost them 125lei, since they have a good margin on decoration stuff..
Honestly, we didn't care about the price, we would bought the mattress anyway without the offer, but the way that they denied this to us was not worthy of a customer relationship.
If you want to please your client, you don't do this, especially when you sell for 2100€ of stuff, and denied to grant at 80€ voucher to a client, when this client could got more than double if he just bought the bed couple of weeks after..

What have no sense, is that we could bough a cheap bed, at 200€, and we would got it free with this 15% offer, to sell it after, and get more money back.
Why take the risk to lose a customer this way ? This have no sense. We bought a lot of to them before.

One client before me had some issues too, and asked for the manager to come, he came with the security with him... this resume the overall spirit.

Terrible company

Terrible company. with horrendous customer service and lazy staff who would not do absolutely anything for the customers.
Most sale brands that they trying to lure you in with are pumped up and they are not really a deal
