Absolutely diabolical service
Absolutely diabolical service. We had minor damage on our vehicle, front bumper and headlight. They had the vehicle for 7 weeks (incl over Christmas). When it was returned, the color match wasn't fantastic, however, the headlights were dangerous with the main centre of the illumination on the road, completely unlit. The steering wheel was (RH down). Following complaints raised with the insurance company regarding the steering wheel alignment and headlights, it was arranged that they would collect the vehicle (providing they had the car no longer than 2 days). They had it a week to do the two minor rectification jobs. The vehicle was returned with 2 stone chips in the screen (which it never had when it was collected) and the steering wheel alignment is now off (LH down).

I trusted this shop based on past experiences because they used to be helpful. We are not just returning customers. We have used them several times over the years and have referred many people to them.
I sent my child there for a second opinion after he was sandwiched in an accident, and needed a second opinion because the first shop couldn’t find parts. I made an appt last week and explained the situation and that this was a second opinion and we needed also help finding parts. Steve told us to come back today, so we did. My son went in, Steve completely forgot the purpose of the visit, started questioning my son, then my son told me “the manager guy is angry and calling you” I said ok. Steve calls me, I re explain the situation, he says “your son says he doesn’t plan to fix the car” (all while having a rude tone with me). I let him know that obviously we will be fixing it— that’s why we are bringing it to the body shop, to which “Steve” replied, “I’m not doing an inspection for free.”
I calmly asked (in my raspy voice because I’m sick), “How much would you like me to pay for the inspection?” He immediately snapped, “I can sense a tone in your voice so I’m not doing the inspection because of your attitude,” and proceeded to yell at me (with my son standing in front of him) so I hung up.
I am currently recovering from pneumonia, so no, I don’t have a chipper, lady-like voice right now. The fact that he chose to yell at me in front of my child over “tone” is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
To be treated this way as a loyal, repeat customer who has supported and referred business to this shop is beyond disrespectful.
It is also worth noting that the only person who replies to negative reviews appears to be the very individual I am describing here, which makes this experience even more concerning.
I will not be returning. If you value being spoken to with basic respect, I suggest you take your business elsewhere. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB. And all the recommendations I made for them with my community, I’m retracting.
Never again.

What fabulous service from start to finish!
My car was hit by a chap and I was recommended to take it to M&M by my car dealer as they are an approved workshop for my car brand, along with many others!
They assessed the car, contacted the guy who caused the damage, then connected his insurance up with my accident claims company. Within a few hours, I had a courtesy car arranged and the work was then carried out to a high standard! I was kept informed every step of the way! Even over the Christmas period!
All of the staff are so friendly and helpful and will answer any questions.
Once the work was completed, they delivered it to me cleaned and repaired!
There was no hassle or stress on my side, they made what could have been a very stressful situation, very easy.
Thankyou to M&M, I will recommend you to anyone!

Corvette dreams come true
I have been looking for the right Corvette for about 10 years and i finally found it at M&M! The car is a beauty, fairly priced and exactly as described. Their showroom is gigantic and a real treat too look around. Martin, James and all of the team are incredibly knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Delivery of the car was really fairly priced and a no-brainer for me, definitely made sense. When you buy a classic car you know its not going to be perfect, nor come with warranty but there were a couple of little issues with my car which M&M were happy to help out in fixing/offering a contribution towards which i now a lot of other garages wouldn't do. All in all i am 100% happy and would recommend them. Just wish i had more money so i could go back and buy another corvette or a mustang next! Ami, Brighton.

M&M were absolutely fantastic in not only fixing my car, but taking on the third party insurance battle on my behalf.
During my last few weeks of pregnancy they took all the stress of the claim away, liaising with the third party on my behalf, which was invaluable and so very much appreciated.
Special mention to Jo for taking this on, and keeping me up to date throughout.
And to Ade and the team for fast tracking my car through, so that I could have it in time for baby coming home!

the work they done to car where it was damaged is spot on got no problems with.
My Problem is that they damaged my centre console and ripped my leather seat. They come back with the seat was already ripped due to wear and tear, we take pictures of everything before we start. Ok show me the pictures you have of my ripped seat before you started work on it, he went back in his office come back and said sorry you can’t quite see that part of the seat on the picture we took. They said they will replace centre console under my insurance but with their report about the seat to the insurance making out it was already like that the insurance won’t sort it and M&M are refusing liability for the ripped seat. I will not send my car back there for them to change the centre console because just in case they damage anything else and come out with its wear and tear. Just can’t believe the cheek of them

They done a good job of fixing the damage to my car, not a problem, it's very good. However, they charged me £156.00 when I took the hire car back, because there were some tiny scratch marks on two of the alloys which were probably caused by stones on the road surface. And they said the reason they are charging me is because they are not their cars? So why would you give a hire car out when there not even yours. Lastly, they push on you to clean the car otherwise your get a charge, I got the car valeted and mine was clean on the outside, but still dirty inside, when they are meant to valet the car. I wouldn't ever go back to this place, the customer service is AWFUL!

Car went in for simple damage to nearside door,Came out with more damage than it went in with.Upon investigation it appears that one of their employees had reversed our car out of the spray booth without first opening the doors causing rear end and offside damage and then tried to flash it over quick to hide the damage.Four times that car went back and I'm still not happy with some aspects of it.Its on a 22 plate and has only done 4000 miles but it now seems considerably second hand.I wouldn't recommend these muppets if they were the last car repair shop in the world.Beware do not use them they are cowboys.

Vehicle went in for repair delivered back to get a phone call 20mins later to say needed to be returned for parts.also informed wasn't happy with paintwork. Returned Vehicle for parts and paint estimator thought i was being funny over poor paintwork.returned for third time for them to polish the living crap out of paintwork to remove blemishes and leave the car with nice polishing swirls totally hopeless.AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU VALUE YOUR VEHICLE

My car was in for body repairs for 8 days. I was given a courtesy car and asked to sign for it before I had inspected the vehicle given. When I returned to collect my car, the courtesy car was inspected. The lady who inspected it took quite a while and was out of my sight for several minutes inspecting the front of the vehicle. She reappeared and I was told that there was damage to the front of the courtesy car. I denied having done this and I went out to look. I had to ask where the damage was (near the nearside headlight). It was about as big as a pin head but I was told that as I had signed the paperwork (signed before I saw the vehicle) that there was no damage I was responsible. I still denied it was done while I had the vehicle. I asked what would happen and they said I would have to pay £90 + VAT . I refused, again denying it had been done while I had the vehicle. The assistant appeared to make a telephone call and came back to me to say they would accept £45 + VAT. I had no option but to pay it to get my own vehicle back. However, they wanted me to sign then to say my vehicle was in order, again before I had inspected my vehicle. I refused to sign until I had seen my vehicle. I was taken to my vehicle and I looked all around the outside. Repair seemed to be OK so I signed. However, I had not inspected the inside to a great extent and after I had left I found that the back seats (it's a 7 seat vehicle) had been left up (I don't have the back seats up preferring the larger boot). I am more angry at being accused of damaging the courtesy car. They had no photographs and neither had I. Lesson learned. The company needs to let you inspect the courtesy car before signing and if possible take any photographs necessary to prove any/no damage before driving the courtesy vehicle away. £90 (or even £45) plus VAT for something you'd need a magnifying glass to see and not being able to prove whether it was damaged before you had the courtesy car (or even after) is a recipe for making money from unsuspecting drivers. Won't be using them again or if I do will be very, very careful.
WARNING does not like solictors handling the purchase 😶
After telling the dealer I want a solicitor to handle the sale between me and the dealer .M and m told me they will have no part of it. I have never seen a car dealership in the UK with so many terrible reviews as M&M

Waited nearly 2 months for my car
Waited nearly 2 months for my car, when returned parts missing locking wheel nuts, then as driving have no break lights no indercators, and to top it off my car was full of water and mould, car had to be booked in with dealer under warranty to get fixed and to be dried out due to hybrid system being wet could of caused electrical fire, and the whole seals now have to be replaced absolutely disgusting job and would not recommend, my car sat outside in rain for nearly 2 months and came back with more problems than it when on for. Left with no car for week and had to ask work to adjust working pattern just unacceptable.

I have been a repeat customer for several years because of service and superb value for money. On a couple of occasions the guys have waived costs just to check my vehicles over.
I wouldn’t take my vehicles any where else. 10/10 for customer service and value for money.

Stay away if you can, I had nothing but problems had car over 4 weeks it should of been a few days. Constantly had problems ordering wrong parts, the car came back with damage on and was told there had been a admin error and forgot order new parts. Staff dont ring you back either. And to top it off when they promised to fix it and have the car back the same day they lied again and had phone call saying it won’t be back after they promised and left no courtesy car.

Too awful to even explain fully but steer clear! Cancellation of insurance repair without notice after over a month of being booked in, caused me to lose a day's earnings as I'm self employed, no apology (in fact I was told, 'it's just one of those things!'), and then a subsequent message to say they were fully booked and they wouldn't be able to give me any date at all as to when my car could be repaired. Isn't it the nature of your business to repair cars?! It's like going to the supermarket and being told there's no food! Why accept the job from Auxillis if you don't have the resources to complete it?! Please be warned...
