Over the past few days I have had a truly positive experience with the Mint Velvet customer service team in the UK and Mint Velvet Dundrum, Dublin and want to share it. I had a significant birthday last weekend and my husband bought me a leather mint velvet jacket that I had my eye on for ages. He purchased it in March as a surprise for my birthday in September. However when I opened it, I realized he not only was very well prepared for this birthday but also was very optimistic about his wife's size (bless him). Not expecting much due to the time that had passed, I contacted Mint Velvet UK Customer Service and spoke to a lovely lady named Sarah. Once I told her the story she was absolutely fabulous - understanding, kind and incredibly helpful. Rather than giving me a scripted answer or brushing me off, Sarah genuinely listened to my situation and promised to look into it. To my amazement she rang me back very soon after reaching out to Mint Velvet in Dundrum, Dublin and confirmed that she spoke to the manager Laura in Dundrum and that she had the size I wanted in stock and was happy to exchange once all in order (tags and packaging etc). I contacted Laura in Dundrum and she proved equally as helpful. I now have the jacket I love, a very happy husband and couldn't be more positive about my experience with this company. Huge thanks to both Sarah in the UK Customer Service team and Laura in Dundrum, Dublin. This has served to deepen my loyalty to the brand and I will be sure to share this experience.

A regular customer but the sizing and quality is hit and miss. Tried on several summer dresses and tops in my usual size and they were way too small, even going up to the biggest size. The quality of the linen this year is very poor. T.Shits - purchased 4 won't buy again, after one wash. they looked old. Sort your suppliers out, you had a reputation for quality but not anymore.

Booked personal shopping at Aberdeen store had a great experience from talking with them on phone prior to appointment to visiting the store .When I arrived was greeted with friendly staff outfits were waiting for me to try on also taken round store so I could pick out some clothes too . My stylist was Molly she was lovely and put me at ease as this for me was way out of my comfort zone was honest with me and glad to say got few lovely items I must add your under no pressure to make any purchase.

I visited the Islington store today - for the second time.
Firstly the displays look great - really well laid out and easy to see.
But most importantly is Isabella who is outstanding! I guess she leads the team ...
She's friendly - welcoming - helpful - knowledgeable and has a super way with her approach - and not too pushy but offers advice.
Other retailers out there take note: and if I were you I'd be sending in secret shoppers to find out what they're doing so right - and most of you are doing so wrong!

Unfortunately the clothes I ordered didn’t look right on me so with regret I had to return them. I am appalled at the amount of time it takes for a refund to be cleared. I have contacted my own bank who inform me they are waiting for Mint Velvets bank to clear the fund. At £154.00 this is a good amount of money for Mint Velvet to have in their bank. I feel this is effectively a scam, they keep the money from the returns to gain further interest. It’s now been nearly 10 days so I’m still waiting for the money to be realised. Never going to buy from them again!! I do not experience theses delays with any other company!,

Had a brilliant experience with Mint Velvet customer service. My parcel was supposed to be delivered by Evri who I avoid if at all possible, but true to form they returned my parcel to Mint Velvet before delivering it so I called Mint Velvet. A replacement was sent out there and then with 24 hour delivery via Royal Mail and it arrived the next day despite it being a Sunday. Very happy

Very disappointed. I used to love mint velvet & always asked for vouchers for my birthday. the clothes used to be made of quality fabric & in viable countries.

ordered the zebra print blouse £99 made in china & polyester fabric shocking value for money I can probably buy for cheaper in Tesco or primark & that would be an insult to Tesco & primark.
The lip print shirt felt a little bit more quality but not worth £89 made in China & polyester
What is going on Mint Velvet? sadly i wont buy rubbish any more.

The Glasgow store does this company no favours. Dour staff and not exactly friendly or especially helpful.
Previously shopped in Marlborough and Bristol stores comparison is like chalk and cheese!

Absolutely brilliant staff at Bond Street Chelmsford branch. Served by Victoria who provided a personal shopper experience without an appointment. She is a credit to your organisation, pleasant, professional and caring. Could have spent £20 but probably nearer £500. Well done !

I returned items to the value of £148 on 5/8/25. As I had not had any return confirmation I chased the company on 12/8/25 but am still waiting for a response. In the meantime on 15/8 I have received a refund notification but have to allow for “processing” of another 5 working days. I have found the delay very unsatisfactory and it will affect my decision to shop with them again.

I bought some trousers (they were in the sale) on Saturday to wear to a barbecue. I wondered why every other shop I went into the alarm sounded. When I got home the big alarm tag was still on. I couldn’t wear them. I went back today (Sunday 10 August) and was treated like a shoplifter by the staff. I do not live near the shops, had to pay over £5 to park and then felt like a criminal. I am furious.

I had a bad experience with a delivery from Mint Velvet, that was delivered by EVRi.
Mint Velvet were supper quick to apologise and stepped in to resolve the problem quickly. The customer service team were excellent from start to finish. Hayley from the Customer Care team was especially good.

Awful experience with this company. I returned an item and when they refunded me they did so for a cheaper item which I didn’t return. I contacted customer service repeatedly with NO response. They have cheated me out of my money and can’t be bothered to respond to my emails. DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM MINT VELVET unless you want to risk being defrauded.

Sizes run way too small and the return process is awful. I had confirmation on the Tuesday that they had received my return. Checked Friday and they still haven’t processed a refund and work on a poor 7-10 day refund policy. How is it that the majority of companies can get your money back to you in 3 days!? First time purchasing with them and it will be the last.

Im using Mint Velvet for years. Now I live i Prague and they actually deliver abroad so didnt have to say good bye. The customer service is brilliant at all times but recently I one of my returns went missing so I didnt receive my refund which was over 1000 GBP. I contacted customer service, explained the whole situation and they immediately started to deal with it. BUT they have sent the refund so I dont have wait for the whole process to be finished. I never experienced such a lovely yet profesional aproach and I do shop online a lot!!

I have unsubscribed from their mailing list numerous times (all lists) and have emailed customer services many times to ask them to stop as they continue to send me emails every day. They have told me twice that I have been removed and to wait 48 hours, yet the emails still continue. I am now reporting them to the ICO and will never order from them or shop in store again.

Ordered a gift card for my partners birthday to include a few words on the card.
The package arrived on time, however, it was incorrectly addressed to my partner so she opened her present one week early and there was no comment on the card.
