Mindrift evaluation
- I like the payment trustworthiness of Mindrifو flixible nature of work and the easy and responsive platform as well as the support.
- I dislikethe inaccuracy in calculating the pay rate; they claim the rate is $10 an hour, for example, but you find yourself having to spend two hours just to earn that $10.
I also dislike that in some new projects, the exam grading method differs from the training. So even if you answer according to the rules and exactly as you were trained, your answer is marked wrong and you end up failing the exam.
Additionally, I dislike that there were many new advertised roles I can participate in but for some hidden reasons they say they cannot open new project for existing trainers.

Problem with Persona verification
Was onboarded on the feather project and I liked the quick task approval and payment. However, I am told to verify my identity using Persona, for which when I do that and put Kenya as my country of residence, they Persona platform says they cannot verify IDs from this country and now I have to select another country, which I also cannot. Because of this I cannot onboard other project that require this verification. Could your team please check on this issue for Kenyans?

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out and for sharing your experience with the Feather project. We’re glad to hear that you had a positive experience with the task approval and payment process.
Regarding Persona verification, Kenya is currently among the locations where we are unable to fully support identity verification. This is related to the current coverage of our verification provider and other operational requirements.
Please also note that some projects may have additional eligibility requirements defined by the client, including specific geographic criteria. Identity and residency verification may therefore be required to confirm that participants meet the conditions of a particular project before they can be onboarded.
We understand that this may limit access to some projects at the moment.
You can find more information in our Eligibility and Geographic Restrictions policy:
https://toloka.ai/legal/eligibility-and-geographic-restrictions
Thank you for your understanding and for bringing this to our attention.
