Designer’s view on millboard

I’m a designer, I researched , ordered samples, compared with other companies and there was no comparison. It was expensive but worth the stretch for a natural looking, stunning result. If interested look at the fishing lodge at brook meadow where I’ve put lots of photos of our new deck there.

Hi Claire,

Thank you for taking the time to write such a considered review. Coming from a designer, your view carries real weight with us, and it's good to know the care you put into choosing the right board paid off.

We've looked at the photos of the fishing lodge at Brook Meadow in Leicestershire and the finished deck sits beautifully in its setting. Thank you for sharing them, and for recommending us to others.

Millboard - the premium decking product

I have had to replace a wooden deck and a composite deck at our house. They start off looking good, but just fall apart after 4-5 winters. They were cheap, so I decided to buy once and buy quality. I spoke to a number of installers and they all recommend Millboard. To quote one "I have never been called back to fix a Millboard problem, it is simply the best product available".
I would second this, the deck looks fantastic and I had a lot of help from the sales team at Millboard specking out the parts and discussing options. They the put me in contact with Deckor Decking (Maidenhead) who did a fantastic job with the installation.

Hi Bruce,

Thank you for the review, and for choosing to buy once and buy well. It's great to hear the deck looks the way you hoped, and that our sales team helped with the specification and options. We'll pass your comments on to them.

We're also pleased Deckor Decking did such a good job of the installation. Our approved installers are a big part of the Millboard experience, so it means a lot to see them recognised.

We hope you enjoy your new deck for many years to come.
