In response to Midland Tops answer to my one star experience with this company. I will state the following - I gave a review (quite wrongly) minutes after the fitted kitchen was "completed". This was on the evidence before my eyes. It was only 24 hours later when the kitchen was put use, that the serious faults occurred. True a representative by the name of Andy Haw attended my premises, saw the poor condition of work, promised an improved replacement at no cost to myself. Strangely, Mr. Haw left Midland Tops for good, two days later. I did not hear from him again. Numerous phone calls were made to this company, with no-one able to take control or remedy the situation. The lies that the independent installer gave, that we were on holiday for three weeks and left a dripping taps, were complete nonsense and utter lies, in order for himself to justify his poor workmanship and inferior products used. I could literally write a book on my horrible experience with Midland Tops. And how dare you insinuate that I am complaining for financial purposes, not once have Midland Tops even entered into any conversation re rectifying the shoddy workmanship in order to rectify this matter to both our satisfaction. All I will say is, I employed an independent Chartered Surveyor, a member of RICS at a cost of hundreds of pounds. Please read his full report and images which were sent to you on two occasions. The report basically said, the kitchen should be condemned and replaced completely. I fail to see how you Midland Tops can argue against this fully independent lengthy report made by a professional Chartered Surveyor. You can keep your money, however fraudulently obtained, my complaint was genuine and geared towards warning other potential customers. The reason I would not allow the independent installer into my house, was because he was aggressive and insulting (calling us liars) to both my wife and myself. I am big enough and astute enough to take any insults if true. But I will not allow anyone in my own home to insult my wife.
