Cheap but no customer service they use a remote person to answer calls who email Midland LPG. Who never never return any calls

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Gas ordered before Christmas and 3 weeks later still no gas. They use a remote reception service who say they’ll ask the schedulers to call back and then they don’t. Left without gas when it was minus 8 outside, with 2 children, one of who is sick. Shameful service

The WORST experience I have ever had.

Requested a transfer to a new company months ago. New company requested details to Midlands which they are not responding to. Gas has now run out. It is freezing temperatures, and we have a baby to try and keep warm. We can't cook either.

Ringing the one contact number puts you through to a remote reception number that tells you no one is available and it's been this way for weeks.

Join this company in April because of there reasonable rates, we was promised someone would be in touch to get our details to set up a d/d , I have been trying since April to get someone from the company, I have made numerous calls and sent numerous e mails and still no one bothers , anyone got any ideas how to can speak to them

Having terrible service from Calor after ten years we have approached this company and prices quoted,and service so far, excellent.
We will be signing up immediately.

I’ve used Ricki from Midland Gas before to do a yearly service for my boiler and he did an outstanding job.
My boiler stopped working this year so I emailed Midland Gas yesterday for help to fix it and Ricki told me he could come the next day to find the problem.
He was there today and fixed it very quickly.
Who else can you get any quicker, no wonder he has 5 stars on trustpilot. Thank you M8.

Ricki is a fantastic engineer; I feel he went the extra mile to ensure the boiler was thoroughly checked over. Previous boiler services from other companies, felt like they hardly did anything and were out the door in like 15mins, and it had proved my point by watching Ricki do his thing. Everything was thoroughly checked over, cleaned and tested. Recommended parts to help prolong the life of the boiler as its age was starting to show. The service was carried out in a professional manner, work area was tidied after as well. Can't recommended them enough.

There was an offer for an annual service so it was bought. Spoke to the administrator/ manager she explained clearly I would get reminders day before and and estimated time of arrival message shortly before the engineer's arrival.

I received my reminders and on the morning received my text that the engineer Ricki was 11 minutes away.

He arrived within that time and was friendly and courteous throughout his time in my home. I was working from home on the phone, and knocked before he entered my office and walked quietly around the other rooms he checked.

Over the years I have had about 10 different gas engineers. He is one of three that actually went and checked/bleed the radiators in each room.

Additionally he told me of an advisory notice about an outside pipe that had been logged three times previously but no engineer had verbally told me needs correcting.

I am definitely going to use Midlands Gas again and recommend too.

I can not emphasise just how authentic and brilliant this company is. I have been a regular customer of them for a number of years now and would happily recommend them to others. I first had to call them out for an emergency boiler situation which was sorted out swiftly, with everything explained to me and since then have returned for boiler servicing every year and the occasional issue with my (very very old) boiler. The prompt attention to detail, and explanations of what has happened and what needs to be resolved is excellent and I literally know I am in safe hands.

After our boiler packed up we contacted British Gas because we had cover but they couldn’t come out to us so they asked if we could find a local gas engineer & they would refund us so we went on to local hero’s & Midland Gas came back to us & was able to come out to us the next day. Ricki inspected our boiler but was not able to get the parts from anywhere because Halstead had gone out of Business a long time ago. Ricki explained & showed us the parts that needed replacing & it was up to us what we wanted to do no pressure on us. After Ricki had left we decided to get him to quote us for a new boiler & because we had had our boiler & radiators for over 20 years we decided to get some of the radiators replaced as well because some of them were leaking anyway. The quote was excellent & we decided not to go anywhere else. Ricki done a fantastic job & explained everything to us & also said if we needed him to explain anything to us again he was happy to do so. I will definitely be recommending Midland Gas to my family & friends because Ricki & his team were fantastic.

Frinedly, helpful and not pushy at all. They will go out of their way to make sure everything is completed and you are satisfied. I can not remmend them enough.

After receiving 4 different quotes for a new boiler, I had almost given up that we would get a reasonable price for a good job, and then I was introduced to Ricki. He came promptly to give us a quote, and to say it was the most competitive is an understatement. He was efficient, found us the best boiler for our house and needs, and even helped us to install Tado. He didn’t leave until he was completely happy with everything he had done and went above and beyond with other things he noticed while he was here. Will definitely use again and would highly recommend to all.

Boiler was condemned, spoke to Ricki who helped and got us sorted with a new boiler straight away his team were excellent, very professional and did a fantastic job from start to finish, I will definitely use Midland Gas again and would highly recommend them.
