Don't get me wrong. If you want free stuff, it's great. However it's extremely tedious and slow, just the way Microsoft intended it to be. You used to be able to hit your daily cap in under 10 minutes... See more

They suspended my rewards redemption…

They suspended my rewards redemption and I am not getting points for their suggestions or even my own searches or reading of articles. Advertisers pay to be on Bing
The rewards are really coupons to increase business at their advertisers. Jumping through hoops searching and reading for hours a day for a month just to get refused to redeem points. The advertisers need to know how Microsoft is treating their customers
Reporting complaints to Bing is useless.
We need to group together and make complaints to the advertisers who write their paycheck
If advertisers start complaining and discontinue paying for ads I bet they will finally listen

Here is the AI generated response from Microsoft, yes it was this microscopic, I could hardly read it
Bing doesn't allow pasting here

Quality deteriorating

This service has gotten worse over time. I've used it for years and over time they've slowly decreased how many points you get while still keeping the redeem costs the same. Additionally, as of today my account has been restricted, meaning I can't redeem anything with my points at the moment. The only thing I can think of that would cause this is using the recommended searches in the Bing app to get points. What's the point of suggesting searches in the Microsoft Rewards section of the Bing app if they're going to restrict your account for using it? I would not recommend this service, and I'm only giving it two stars because in the past I've been able to redeem things with it.

Rip-off site, should be sued

Microsoft's Bing Rewards should be the subject of a class action lawsuit for unwarranted suspensions of accounts. Numerous people have faithfully followed their rules and had their accounts suspended for no reason. Seems like a clear case of fraud on Microsoft's account. Please stay away and don't use any Microsoft product.

Microsoft Bing treats you like a child

Don't waste your time here - I wish there were NO STARS. Microsoft Rewards is ridiculous and I am done with them. I am not able to redeem my points because I don't search "correctly" according to their rules - who's rules??? Some days I search at one or 2 times per day and other days I don't search at all. so, it averages out. They have locked my account because of this. Horrible rewards so stay away. I feel like I am being treated like a child in school for doing something "bad". Not worth the hassle! And I am going to cancel my Microsoft subscription and will never use Bing again. I am surprised they haven't locked my email account, too. Moving off Microsoft completely.

I have a 1700 day streak with no help on missing any days and have never used a bot of any kind for my reward points. I have favorites saved with news searches that I use and never the same searches two days in a row. I rotate with 3 different fields to read news that is important to me. Why in the heck do they allow you 250 points a day if you can never get that many, the way things are now. I now have right at 190,000 points that can’t use because my account is RESTRICTED! Crazy about done with the whole mess.

Gave it one star as I couldn’t give it none.
Suspended my account even though I hadn’t done anything wrong, as they have with many others.
Doubt I’ll touch another Microsoft console, it’s a company that obviously despises its customers. I know Sony isn’t perfect, and I dislike their controllers, but enough is enough.

This item is currently unavailable.

The title is based on my experience when I tried to redeem my £5 Amazon gift card. For those not familiar with this, it takes months on end to build up 8060 points for £5. How on earth can the biggest company around not have a £5 gift card available? Shame on you.

Response to Recent Decisions Regarding the Microsoft Rewards Program.

Hello,

I would like to express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent changes made to the Microsoft Rewards program. The removal of key features, the sudden increase in the number of points required for rewards, and the increasingly strict limitations on daily activities give the impression that the program no longer aims to reward its users, but rather to discourage them.

As a loyal user, I feel devalued. This program, which was once a great initiative to encourage engagement, now seems to operate in a one-sided manner. The recent decisions have harmed the user experience and tarnished the image of a service that had previously earned the trust of many members.

I am not asking for handouts, but for respect. Transparent communication, clear rules, and fair recognition of user commitment should be the bare minimum.

I urge you to reconsider these choices and listen to the feedback from your community. Without it, Rewards loses all meaning.

Sincerely,
A disappointed user still willing to engage in dialogue.

I was a loyal user for years, but not any more!

I used Bing rewards for MANY years with no issues. I’ve never changed my search habits or used a VPN or a bot, but suddenly my account is restricted. Oh, they let me keep earning points and it wasn’t until I tried to redeem them that they informed me that my account is restricted! And good luck actually getting anything other than a canned response if you do submit a help ticket!

Used to be OK

Used to be OK. Now its nothing but a complete waste of time. They have restricted it so badly on phone and pc that it isnt tracking or paying out properly. Its the biggest waste of time. Also without incentive why would anyone use bing. Its the worst search engine on the planet! AVOID!!! Will never be using bing points ever again and I was loyal for many year.

I was "rewarded" Spotify Premium for 3 months. Uh, no. Spotify does not recognize my account as premium. If they did, I would be able to download my playlists to me PC. I cannot do that. Spotify also has some code as my "username" that I cannot edit.
So, stick with gift cards whenever you earn those million points for $20.
They also lack giving points. I completed the same quiz 5 times and still didn't get the daily points for doing so. Same with searching for a restaurant. Multiple searches zero points given.

Please listen

Please listen, this is a scam you get to 8,060 points to redeem your gift voucher, then it states your account is suspended, this has also happened to several friends of mine, yet you have fully complied wit there terms and conditions. You contact there customer support and they tell you that your account is not suspended, you supply screenshots, if you press the back button, the bot picks it up and freezes your account, don’t waste your time signing up it’s one big scam

Microsoft rewards program the worst possible way a…

Thought I saw every possible way a consumer can be cheated but does Microsoft/Bing really need the money to cheat the average hard working guy/lady out there. They keep running up the points you need to redeem for a decent reward. Most rewards are so difficult to redeem at the store etc. the clerks don’t want to bother. The good ones (Amazon) no longer seem to be available when you approach the number to redeem.Total ripoff and Microsoft knows it because I have told them that and they do nothing. Son wants a bike helmet can’t get it. Daughter needs back to school clothes can’t get it. Contribute to some Microsoft game no problem. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves
