Justine Boesen is an excellent singing teacher. When I arrived for my first lesson she was smiling, friendly, and easily created a comfortable atmosphere. She got me to sing some simple exercises while listening closely and showed me clearly where I could improve. She then got me to sing one of my own songs while accompanying me on the piano. Afterwards she explained where and how I could push and challenge my voice, before trying the song again. It was a good experience and learned a lot from her. I can highly recommend Justine.

Professional, friendly, talented and inspiring teachers - extremely skilled and engaging. Really great at calibrating to different needs and ways of learning. Especially fantastic with nervous folks that aren't sure, or folks having doubts/confidence trouble. Highest of recommendations ♡

Very good teachers and very nice environment

I have booked the trial class for my daughter 11 Years old for Piano classes, and she loved it. She liked the way of teaching and the teacher Mads was so polite and supportive, in the first class she makes the connection and want to continue for the classes.

Amazing experience! I would completely recommend the singing lessons. It was super nice and comfy to be there and the tips and tricks the teacher gave us were super useful.

I went to a trial class for free and it was a great experience. It is super useful to be able to do this in order to align expectations and understand how the classes work. I even threw myself into singing a bit so the teacher could have a better picture of my level.

I had my first bass lesson with Jasper. He was engaging and allowed me to feel confident from the first few minutes. I hope to be able to learn from Jasper in my next classes.

I took a Prøvetime for piano at the Institute and enjoyed it thoroughly! I’ve been thinking about learning to play the piano for a very long time, but have been very nervous to go to a music institute, as I had to start from scratch and didn’t have any knowledge. Not only was the atmosphere in the Institute already great and helped me to feel calmer, but Maya was so welcoming and nice that I felt fully at ease. While we only had 30 minutes, she already managed to teach me quite a lot and I’m looking forward to continue learning to play the piano and fulfil this dream!

The singing classes are private.
The professors make you feel comfortable and guide you.
Like everything in Copenhagen, the classes can be expensive, but if you're passionate about music it is worth it.

Singing: I only had my first trial lesson so far, however I was really pleased by the Institute environment and the teaching approach, what made me immediately sign up for the following lessons.

The school is beautiful and the people even more.

My son had a lovely first class with Jonas at MICPH. Jonas made him feel at ease and was very patient as well as encouraging. My son is really looking forward to learn guitar finally!!

I didn't know exactly what I was looking for, I just knew I wanted to improve my ability to express myself and to be as powerful as possible with my feelings through my voice. With Caroline in only about 2 months not only I achieved these ambitious goals, but she made me go even beyond that. During the lessons she would make me stop to reflect on the meanings and the purposes of the songs in order to go deeper and deeper with what I was trying to do. But the most precious lesson I've learned with her is that I CAN open up: she told me I was allowed to be myself and to do embarrassing things while singing. This gave me the opportunity to get in touch with my most artistic amd childish part, which eventually made me understand that there's a huge difference between making sounds and singing for real. It's like I got the key to unlock myself with music, which helped me to finally be able to sing songs I've always dreamed of, like Bohemian Rapsody of Queen or Chandelier of Sia.
As a consequence, my way of seeing things in real life changed as well. Infact, I've realized that not only I was trying to impress others while singing, but also while doing my job. So I became more aware of my tendency to push too much in order to just prove my worth to others.
As she also said to me more than once, in order to learn new things you need to be open to new ideas and new experiences. If you do, this coach is exactly what you're looking for.

I am new in the Music Institute of Copenhagen an so far my experience has been very positive. They have always been available and willing to find the best option so that I can further develop my singing skills. I am so happy I joined them, it's a great pleasure to musically grow with them and to learn from them!
