Curriculum Books are great
It was extremely easy to order curriculum books for my children. We truly enjoy the fact that Mia has workbooks to go along with the online courses. We would love to see workbooks for all courses in the future as it helps keep our children on track and allows them to easily work alongside their courses.

I have tried about 6 different programs…
I have tried about 6 different programs with my home school students- and this has been BY FAR the best experience for all of us! I love the control i get to have over the students day, and the student doesnt feel so overwhelmed with options and instead is able to go through a simple structured daily list. I will not look any further for another program for either of my kiddos,

Good Homeschool Curriculum
This does teach a variety of things. Not sure why they do not do abc's in any of the reading or language arts curriculum for Kindergarten. That's why for the 4 stars vs 5. I do like the variety of curriculum to add or not. Plus the grade book and attendance makes it simpler to keep track of everything. I do think this is a great addition to homeschooling with other things to incorporate (workbooks on abc's, etc). We only just started it not too long ago so not sure if not at that lesson yet or what. Regardless I still recommend this it is a great start and continuation for homeschooling which we'll still plan to do and use.

For Kindergarten reading, we highly recommend taking a look at our Learn to Read: Level A course, which includes a full unit focused on letter names and also covers letter sounds, phonemic awareness, blending, segmenting, and distinguishing between uppercase and lowercase letters. It’s designed specifically to introduce the building blocks of reading in a gentle, foundational way.

My child is doing amazing with Miacademy. He is adhd and on the autism spectrum and really struggled in public school. He is growing and learning and doesn’t hate it like he did with traditional school. I can’t say enough about Miacademy and how thankful I am that we found it!
