I have been using MGY for my rental since moving in with my partner a good few years ago. In my experience using MGY has been well worth the cost. They have always found very trustworthy tenants and have ensured with regular checks the property is always kept in great condition. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them if you are thinking of letting a property. Sian Spiteri and the rest of the team have been very organised throughout the process and always make moving tenants in / out stress free from the landlords perspective. Great service from the team at MGY!

Just completed the sale of a buy to let flat (as sellers) through the Cardiff Bay office. We were really impressed with the service we received from the initial market appraisal visit (with Becky) who had very detailed knowledge of the local market. The sale particulars with lovely photos (and drone images) made the flat look great. We went live at the beginning of January and sold within a week, so cannot fault that!

I’ve recently worked with MGY to re-let my property in Penarth and overall have had a positive experience during what has been a fairly challenging period.

The team were able to secure new tenants and get the property back on the market efficiently after a difficult tenancy, which I really appreciated. Communication has been generally good, and they’ve been responsive when I’ve needed updates or clarification.

The onboarding and letting process was handled professionally, including referencing, contracts, and arranging inventory and cleaning services. Having a full management service in place has also taken a lot of pressure off during a stressful time.

Ultimately the property was sold in a very good timeline so that was very pleasing. MGY took total responsibility for viewings and were easy to talk to and kept me updated on potential buyers etc. Just for future reference, it would be helpful if the agents shared notes when the main agent is on leave to ensure there is a consistency in communications to avoid duplication of ground already covered. Overall excellent service.

Had a great experience buying my first property through MGY. Two points stand out

1) Becky who showed me round the property initially was great: clear and helpful with communication, and friendly throughout.

2) MGY was the only estate agent I connected with that didn't try to sign me up with an in-house mortgage advisor which I wouldn’t have wanted, and nor have they subsequently sent me multiple/ongoing marketing emails! Both of these made me feel at ease that I was getting a good service on my terms.

Would definitely recommend MGY for the Cardiff area.

Becky was helpful and positive from day one and appreciated our eagerness to complete the sale within the tax year, for tax reasons. She secured a buyer at an acceptable price. Her determination and regular calls to solicitors helped us to get over the line.

It would be fair to say that this was not the smoothest of purchases (not MGYs fault) but thankfully Nicky in the sales progression team was really helpful. She kept us updated and liaised with the solicitors and vendors over and above what would normally be expected. Huge Thank you Nicky without you I think I would have given up!

We were looking for a rental property and afte seeing a few that wernt suitable i cantated MGY they were super friendly and aranged a viewing for one of their properties the following day.
