Still don't have my Black Friday order from 2021

I'm surprised to see that someone still was replying to clients on July as I thought the company went under without any signs earlier. Website down, I was told that I was gonna receive my furniture next week by a snarky representative who knew next week they would be closing. I ordered a bed and a wardrobe 165058 no hiding. I had used this website for 2 years and had always had problems with delivery time, but I am a student that was unaware of how smaller furniture companies would operate. It's been a year since I ordered my wardrobe on Black Friday to which I still don't have it and have already bought another one elsewhere. I am in touch with a lawyer and hope to get some refund as normally all bankruptcies get settled. I don't know if any rep will see this. Just blowing off steam.

no delivery / no refund !!!!

I have order a table from this company on September/2021. They could not delivered in 7 months. So I asked to cancel and refund . They said they were gonna refund it 14 workdays but they have not refunded in two months. They've basically stolen my money. They are not taking the calls. They are not replying emails. I'll add negative feedback about company in every social platform and warn everyone. I will also don't recommend to anybody to that company

Frustrating Experience - Please save yourself the stress

I'm having a very frustrating experience with Meubis. I ordered since January and the delivery has been moved twice with zero communication. I am at the mercy of their customer support to get any little update.
I still don't have my couch and still no expected delivery date. I honestly wish I read the reviews here before placing an order.

Don't deliver closet, deny refund

Don't let their response fool you, they haven't responded to anything exept what they wrote under this complaint.
Ordered a closet about 4 months ago, after having to delay the order date 3 times (i had to sent them emails asking where it was) I wanted to cancel. Which was allowed according to their own website (they recently deleted that part but i still have a screenshot). They only want to give a store coupon, even though they only talk about bank transfers on the website. Didn't even respond on the last emails and complaint through TestAankoop.
The closet is still online with the same delivery estimate as 4months ago...

Awesome quality, great prices

I have ordered three pieces of furniture (order #: 157499) and I could not have been happier. The team followed up, they have made everything as I had wished and the furniture is as I wanted them. Much better service than the competitors and much better prices as well!
Really happy, I will definitely prefer them next time!

Good job and support to customer

I have ordered column cabinet York and got a very good support from the sales team. I wanted to pick up my order by own transport, but due to force majeure canceled online order. All the formalities were done very quicly and in time. My pre-payment deposit is already on my account.Very good job! Plan to be in summer to purchase some additional York furniture. All the best to Meubis in New Year!

do not trust !

Any assistance about The order I’ve made ! The telephone number is unavailable , they don’t answer to any email except the auto reply. I’ve spent 140€ for a stuff + 150€ for delivery to France !!!! They’ve never answer to my request to do not deliver on Saturday! And suddenly a Saturday morning the deliver come … we weren’t at home ! Do not trust them !!!!

Bonjour. Triste de voire cet avis? La commande avait un délais de 4-7 semaines et elle est livré endéans les 2 semaines? Commandé le 3 décembre et livré le 18 décembre chez vous à domicile. La livraison était bien annoncé depuis plus de 8 jours par mail. D'autre part le téléphone est bien disponible. Le patron même est au téléphone du matin au soir du lundi au samedi sauf le mardi.

Le chauffeur est même venu à l'autre adresse chez vous a votre domicile pour faire la livraison encore aujourd'hui comme annoncé et à donné la lampe en mains propre.

Je ne comprends malheureusement pas cet avis car on a livré 4 semaines plus tôt que prévu et le chauffeur vous a contacté et est venu encore à une autre adresse le même moment?

Hallo. Droevig om deze review te zien? De bestelling had een levertijd van 4-7 weken en het werd binnen 2 weken geleverd? Het order is geplaatst op 3 december en reeds bezorgd op 18 december bij u thuis. De levering werd meer dan 8 dagen geleden per e-mail aangekondigd. Onze eigenaar zit momenteel zelf aan de telefoon dus het lijkt me vreemd dat er niet opgenomen wordt?

De chauffeur kwam zelfs naar het andere adres bij u thuis om de levering vandaag opnieuw te doen zoals aangekondigd?

Helaas begrijp ik deze mening niet want de levering was 4 weken eerder dan verwacht en de chauffeur nam contact met u op en kwam op hetzelfde moment naar een ander adres om de vroegtijdige levering af te ronden.

If Zero was available -they deserve…

If Zero was available -they deserve that star
A furniture set was ordered on 1st Feb 2021 initially delivery was promised as Middle of may. Then extended to end of May, June, July.....

Finally in August after a long waiting time in the chat, they said they cant deliver but can refund the amount.
Til now i am chasing every week for the refund, every time they ask for bank account and for the last two weeks there is no response.
No phone no to contact, no email response ( they claim it will be responded in 72 hours) no communication on the status of delivery...every time you have to follow up and you will get a negative reply- I have been so polite in handling with them, but there is a limit to everything.
I dont know how they can run a business like this in the modern times.
I suspect the positive reviews are most likely paid reviews.
It is time to go to the police and report this.
Let us see what the owner responds- if he refunds i will come back in the next 2 days i will come back and update the review.

Finally got the refund..

Desk payed in February 2021 and still…

Desk payed in February 2021 and still not arrived, reason "force majour".
Practically they stole the money and they postpone every month the delivery

27FEB22 Update: Happy Birthday Meubis! you got my money on the 21FEB21, asked to be reimbursed from Nov 2021 and I am still waiting for my money They keep answering if I sent them my bank account and they will process my request as soon as possible.....Unbelievable

I purchased a table in December 2020 and didn't receive it.
They don't resolve the situation. They don't refund my money and don't deliver the product. Every month they say it will arrive the following month... but it never does. Bad store, bad service. They act like they're doing you a favor. It's unbelievable!

Don’t buy in this store!

Bad experience with this store.Since we order online we didn’t get any confirmation of the purchase. We tried several times to contact the company and all the time changing the date of deliver. Good news is that we pay with credit card so we cancel the transaction. My advice is not to buy in this store, read all bad reviews and take your decision.

0 rate is to much for Meubis..

If I could rate 0 still would be not low enough...
I bought dinning table in April, according to their website delivery time is 4-5 weeks. On my account it was mentioned week 20 (end of May) End of May I have contact them asking which day I can expect to receive my order. With HUUUUGE delay after I send them reminder they informed me it will be delivered half/end June ( then they update on my account ETD as week 25)..
As normal human being I would like to eat my meals at the dining table not on the floor so I have asked for refund. IMMEDIATELY they respond its not possible cuz delay is caused by the force major..
I have checked the European Consumer Rights and refunds are possible when order is not delivered at 2nd agreed date.
So I have waited.
When end of June came I have keep on asking when, WHEN I'll get my ORDER. First they keep on replying they do not know, they don't have planning and so on.. Finally they informed me it will be delivered end fo JULY! THATS INSANE! HOW LONG YOU CAN WAIT FOR ONE STANDARD TABLE! (I do not customize my order)..
As 2nd agreed delivery date wasn't met I'm entitled for refunds so I have asked to cancel my order and send my money back.
Guess what, first guy on the chat told me it's not possible and when I have send them cancelation request week ago via mail they do not reply anything yet!
I'll wait just a bit more and if I won't get any reply about cancelation and my money back I definitely contact lawyer and go with legal case against them.
If I would just know about trustpilot before I had made a purchase I would definitely wouldn't buy anything from Meubis.
Poorest in sercise company ever, with NO AT ALL respect to their customers..

Worst service & company ever

The only thing I can say: DON'T buy anything here. They have the worst possible customer service & as soon as they need to refund you, they are just unreachable. They keep on creating content on social media which looks pretty attractive, but don't let them mislead you, just buy somewhere else.

Response to Meubis’ reply: Yes, in the end I got my money back but this only happened after I had to chase you for it for ages (even though the legal time for refunds was passed) so it was absolutely not on time at all. Sad to read you claim it was on time. So I still stick to my review as this is not a good service at all.

Worst service ever

I ordered furniture in December as it stated delivery will be in 8weeks, and now we are in mid of June, still no delivery. So many mails, texts, follow ups, change nothing. The customer service is very worst and useless. I would like to take legal action on them. Please stay away from this fraudsters and save yourself.

Avoid this company

Avoid this company! My order has been placed in December, it has not been delivered yet. I asked more than 2 weeks ago to cancel my order (well how long I can wait for desk?) but they are telling me now they do not have cancellation in their system! Like this is my problem... Avoid avoid avoid!

Unacceptable!!

Unacceptable!!! Customer service - 0 and Professionalism - 0.

We placed an order for a sofa on Saturday noon, contacted them on Monday morning and asked if there is the possibility to change the model ( we wanted one bigger) and their representative said YES!
The order had a delivery time for 3 months later so as per her words, we can cancel or change but best not leave it for too late. 2 days (!!!) after and once we contact them they say nothing can be done, sofa is in production already and will be delivered to them in 2 weeks ( are they joking us!???). When i asked when did this status change because their representative said otherwise 2 days ago, and why it is delivered 2,5 months earlier their response was : “we got an earlier delivery time from our partner, we will keep the sofa in our store and send it to you in 2 months as scheduled..” .
No reference whatsoever on why they said different story when we first reached out or why we didnt see status change on the portal. Or what kind of policy is this “ we get your order now and after 2,5 months we will send it to you”. When at the store they said the earliest possible delivery was after 9 weeks, no it became less than 20 days. No shame whatsoever on how they treat paying customers, they deserve zero respect from the consumers side and i wish no more people will fall for their BS. I see many bad reviews on them so i al not surprised if i see the shop is bankrupted in a couple of years. SHAME ON THEM!!!!

As we sent by email and sofas - like yours - were produced with a specific character, as why you paid also more than normal - they can't be cancelled following the general conditions art. 16: https://www.meubis.be/nl/verkoopsvoorwaarden-geldig-bij-aankopen-in-de-winkel

"Indien de koper deze overeenkomst verbreekt of de goederen niet in ontvangst neemt, is hij verplicht de geleden en bewezen schade te vergoeden. Deze schade bedraagt 50% van de totaalprijs vermeld op de ommezijde van deze bestelbon. or: If the buyer breaks this agreement or does not take delivery of the goods, he is obliged to compensate for the damage suffered and proven. This damage amounts to 50% of the total price mentioned on the back of this order form."

And on the other hand the sofa was entering already 10 weeks faster than combined. While eventual storage wouldn't be a problem.

We just followed the general conditions, that's why they exist of course. An alteration of model was proposed but you denied it by mail and asked to cancel the sofa and us to keep the money as mentionned in the general conditions.

Seem to be fake company

Seem to be fake company. I read other feedbacks to Meubis and it seems that they only take money and don't deliver anythihg. I am waiting for my order for more than 3 months already and according to their customer support it is not going to be delivered any time soon. Stay away from this company you will only lose money.
