Sent a message to see if they could…

Sent a message to see if they could clean the house prior to putting up for sale. Said they could arrange a team. Asked to lock in a date and they didn’t respond. Followed up with them and again they read the message and chose not to respond. Very disappointing customer service. Even if they couldn’t do the job they should have the courtesy to respond to let me know that.

Avoid this mob at all costs!!!!!

Booked this mob to clean my vacant unit as I was to undergo lung cancer surgery and had to move back with family as I could no longer live on my own. Went back to check and was like nobody had even been there. Had to postpone surgery by a week and spend 2 days cleaning myself. Had already paid deposit by credit card and after complaining they still claimed balance of 4 hour clean on my credit card with a slight...almost negligible discount. My neighbour was keeping an eye on the cleaner and advised he was in and out in under 2 hours. Think he sat down with his thermos and read the paper....definitely did not clean.
Needless to say this was the last thing I needed given what I was facing.
Told them to keep the deposit and call it even. I considered paying for his petrol was more than fair. 2 weeks later received an email saying they were debiting my credit card that day for balance less a miniscule reduction. No phone call just the email with no chance to dispute any further as I was in hospital.
Would not recommend this mob (so unprofessional hard to call them a company) to anyone who is looking for a cleaner!!!!!

Did not turn up despite me paying in advance

Terrible. After booking a moving out clean with these guys several weeks in advance, including having to pay the full amount up front to secure the booking, and confirming the booking the day before, the cleaner didn’t turn up on the day. These guys caused me a lot of unnecessary stress - I was relocating internationally the next day. I had organised for real estate agents to photograph the property after the clean before putting on the rental market. I had to cancel the real estate agent, and Meticulous had to find another cleaner to come after I left the country. They did try to get others to clean my house on the day, but said it was hard at such late notice - particularly if I wasn’t supplying cleaning products. I would have gladly supplied cleaning products - apart from the fact I was leaving the country the next day and all my personal effects had gone to salvos, storage or the tip already! Consequently, I was not there to sign off on the clean (as I was instructed by meticulous I should be). I have no idea what sort of job they eventually did as they did not send photos of the clean despite telling me they would. I had to organise for a family member to go to my house at a later date to meet the real estate agent to photograph the property. This ultimately delayed the date of advertising my home for rent, which cost me lost rental income.

I did ask for a partial refund of the clean for the inconvenience and was told by the person I was talking to that they would check with management. I did not here a further peep from them. Just terrible across the board.

Rude and unprofessional

Do yourself a favour and never hire these cleaners.
Hired them for an end of lease clean and the steam cleaning changed our grey carpet to pink in one of the bedrooms.
As it happened after the carpet had dried, we had already signed off on the job.
When we brought it to Meticulous' attention they denied that it was them, saying that the colour change was already there before the job and that it was due to a rug being in place in the room. Only problem is we never had a rug there.
Obviously we are having to replace the carpet and may not get our bond back from the agent.
They have been rude and unwilling to accept that it was them who caused the damage.
They obviously don't care about their customers at all.

Attention to detail

We've recently moved but were unable to keep the long term cleaner provided by Meticulous. We had her for five years, every fortnight, and were very sad that she couldn't get to our new location. She was incredible, with a real eye for detail, always punctual, followed instruction, planned ahead (letting us know what supplies she needed) and always left something for the kids at Christmas.

Excellent Service

We had our Rental cleaned before we sold it and Meticulous did a wonderful job. They were on time and thorough. Will definitely use them again.

Saved the day

My house was going on the market and the photographer was due in two days. My windows had been cleaned very badly and Meticulous very promptly sent a window cleaner round who did a terrific job. I took several business cards to give to friends.

Customer service

I had a poor experience last week with my cleaner. I left a telephone message and an email requesting someone call me. That was five days ago and nobody has responded. As I mentioned in my email, due to the ineptitude of my cleaner last week I am short $180 in lost business, dead plants and taxi's. I am further disappointed with the lack of contact regarding this issue. If I have not heard from Meticulous Cleaning within the next 24 hours, I will cancel the service and seek compensation.

Poor quality and poor organisation.

Job not satisfactory windows still dirty.
General clean.. not coming when organised, Multiple changes of who would be coming, and then final one allocated never turned up, I callled to follow up why not here when I was waiting and got told to call office. It is the office co-coordinator's responsibility to let the customer know if the job is not going to be done, if their staff are sick and not attending, and to make alternative arrangements.I still have NOT been contacted months later.This is an externally disorganised unprofessional "service" with poor quality "product" of a worthwhile standard of cleaning. Certainly NOT meticulous. If you want people to pay you money you have to do it to a high standard and not waste their time in arranging it. The majority of customers will be seeking such a service because they don't have time and are at work.

The language barrier is difficult

As I said above the language barrier is tricky as I often say something doesn't need cleaning and then I find a cleaner cleaning it. This is a waste of their and my time, and time is money.
I would also like the cleaners to change the water more frequently when washing all the floors.
Also sometimes the cleaners bump the furniture which is all new. This is upsetting of course. Can they please move all the chairs from dinning table rug before vacuuming.
I had Lydia clean one day only and she was wonderful.

Lousy incompetent cleaners

Cleaners were unreliable and did a bad job. So glad I left meticulous cleaning and found a wonderful cleaning lady who does a fantastic job. Don't go near these guys

Poor Administration

We are using Meticulous while our housekeeper is on maternity leave. The cleaner provided is very good and has picked up the processes in the house. I was however sorely disappointed by the way the cleaner was mistreated by Meticulous when it came to helping her through her administration such as timesheet and run sheets. lack of communication and poor business practises were evident. The company did acknowledge they were at fault and corrected the errors of their ways, they are still employed with us.

Meticulous cleaning were anything BUT meticulous!

These guys were appalling at all levels. I got these guys to do two post rental cleans - originally booking them for both.
After the first one I cancelled the second one as the first clean was just completely substandard. I arranged for another cleaner to fix the first clean up costing me and extra cleaning fee. The company then rang me begging me to let them do the next one...and I finally relented thinking I may have been too harsh and the first clean was an aberation.

This then arrived from the Real Estate agent...after they had been given the opportunity to fix the issues...

"Hi Steven,

Do yourself a favour, never use those cleaners again. He did go back and it was improved but he still missed a couple of things.

I touched them up while I was there.

Bond claim form is attached, less $100 for compensation to the owner."

So it cost me more again...they are complete rubbish as a company and service!

Took deposit, never cleaned.

They took my deposit, and never turned up. Obviously, this is a terrible service.
I had booked an after-party clean. I called them twice on the day they were meant to come. Only got a reply the day after (today), acknowledging their mistake and saying they will, at some point, refund the deposit. No offer of anything else to make it right.
Find another cleaner.
