Update: It seems there was some glitch that made me keep receiving those messages that they could not process my voucher. All sorted now and product ordered with the £30 discount.
The fact they don't reply to negative reviews says it all, really. Trying to order a fridge freezer for my mum, from AO, using this scheme, and getting the "Sorry, there's a delay processing your reward" message. How would I be able to order if they will not release the £30 voucher code.
Going to give it up as s bad job and go elsewhere to make my purchase. Of AO wants to use these charlatan, then they don't deserve my custom.

Used Mention-Me on the Valentte website. The discount code didn't work.
Mention-me more like ‘Debacle-me’
Why do companies use this brand for supposed rewards for referrals. Tried it with world of books - person I referred got nothing and neither did I. Just tried with natures best and same experience. Mention-me always has a pathetic response that there is a delay and that delay never gets resolved - what a pile of junk!!
Refer on friend on LNER to get credit…
Refer on friend on LNER to get credit on both accounts. Friend travelled, they got a notification to say they had a reward, nothing showing on either accounts after travel. Just an info grabbing scam. Not impressed. Couldn't give zero stars

Made 2 recommandations for products, but my friends don´t get their coupons. Looks like "Mention-me" is just collection email addresses.
SCAM!!!!
Firstly TrustPilot need to introduce a 'zero' rating. Mention Me just seems like a data harvesting scam. £15 discount looks commonplace regardless of the vendor. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION!!!!

How on earth can anyone ever contact this company, when they don't accept emails containing hotmail.co.uk, btinternet.com, outlook.com, gmail.com, or msn.com? Why do you allow companies to promote mention me friend referrals, then that offer is not fulfilled? It's not right. You should be checking the offer is eligible before allowing companies to promote friend referrals through yourselves. No one should be receiving 'your reward is delayed' messages when signing up.

Got a voucher through a referral, voucher not known when i tried to use it, emailed mention me, asked if i could get a physucal card, they asked me if i entered it correctly, told them yes, their reply email the company they can not help me further. Really bad customer service, if any company offers mention me for referral dont even bother.

Waste of time!
Tried to use Perfume Shop " Refer a friend" through mention me. What an absolute waste of time! I have absolutely no faith in this set up. Don't make promises, you can't honour!!!! Disgusted!

The offer of discount is a lie so they gain your data for profit
Why do retailers use them? whenever I come across the offer of a discount via mention me there’s a notice “Sorry, there's a delay processing your reward.
We'll contact you by email.”
so, they get our data, no email/discount ever and I mean I’ve never once received the discount and the retailer loses a sale! The definition of counter productive marketing!

Mention Me just collects data and never sends actual discount code to a referred person. After entering personal data, you receive the message "There was a problem, try again later". Tried with a few companies I shop with and it is just frustrating. Same result.

Dreadful spam machine!!
You don't get the promised discount and then everyone on your mailing list gets a message 'you can get a discount and so does your friend.' Absolutely ashamed and embarrassed that i signed up for the mention me discount. Trying very hard to get off their mailing list.
It's a gigantic spam machine and only failing companies will use mention me.
they'll go after each and every contact in your mailing list! vile lot.
