OK...in the end.

I only read reviews for this company AFTER ordering a pair of shoes at £190 which was an error on my part.

However, my order has arrived and the shoes are exceptional. But, the lack of communication from the point of ordering through to the delivery is non-existent which I found stressful given the high value of the order.

Thankfully, I have no need to return and as such am a happy customer.

Service non existant

Disgusting instead of receiving what I paid for all I receive is nuisance emails tell my “your cart is still open”

Worse online store/ -0 level of customer service

No words,worst customer service in my experience.
Customer service below 0, no contact at all. Order cancellation under the appearance of a pricing error??? Failure to send a refund within two weeks.

The order was cancelled due to an obvious pricing error, where an item with a value of 959 PLN was incorrectly listed at 157 PLN. In accordance with applicable law, we were entitled to cancel the order in such a case.

Regarding the refund, there were technical issues with the BLIK payment method. Once we received your IBAN details, the refund was immediately processed by bank transfer.

We regret the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, DON'T SHOP HERE

I bought a pair of shoes for >200 EUR, tried them on at home to see if they fit, but decided to send them back, and never received a refund! Customer service claimed the shoes seemed worn, without providing any reasonable proof of this. As a result, I haven't received either the shoes or a refund! They've stopped responding to my multiple emails, and phone customer service is never available to answer my calls.
The store is definitely not worthy of the Trusted Shops Guarantee label displayed on their site. AVOID this store at all costs!

ZERO COSTUMER SERVICE at the Montabaur…

ZERO COSTUMER SERVICE at the Montabaur outlet- destroyed this luxury brand!!!!!!
I've traveled to Germany back in Xmas holiday and bought a pair of shoes from this outlet which is my favorite brand! when I came back to UK, I realized both shoes are for the right foot! I called the store (no email, no chat option) and explained their mistake of not checking the shoes and that they gave me a pair of the right shoes! they asked me to post one of the shoes to them so that they can send me the left shoe instead. I posted the shoe to them and paid an extra £10 for the shipping 3 weeks ago I followed up with them a couple of times and they keep telling me they haven't received it and wouldn't send me the left shoe until they receive the right shoe!!!! it is absolutely the shop's mistake that didn't check the shoes before packing them for me and now they say they haven't received it and won't send me the left shoe! In my last telephone call, the shop manager Naeeni told me she doesn't believe the customer and that is why she can't send me the shoe!!!!!!! I told her I have a photo of the shoes and that the fact that you have a pair of left shoes at her store is proof that she gave me the wrong pair but she refused to help and hung up on me. I can't believe this is customer service from this luxury brand in Germany in 2023!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No proper customer service at Melvin and Hamilton

When on holiday I bought a bag in a Melvin and Hamilton shop at Montabaur outlet. After using it three times the grips had worn down already. After sending a email I was redirected to the shop which is miles and miles away. I also tried contacting Paris and a number in the Netherlands but no answer. After a 1,5 month I went to the shop and got no service other than another email address. Emailed there and never got a reply to this day. Then I wrote a message via Facebook page of Melvin and Hamilton. The reply I got is where you buy only there you get service even if they’re all proper Melvin and Hamilton shops. Well it’s obvious there is no service but a really bad one in Montabaur. I’m never buying again from them, enough other good brands with service and better quality.

As previously communicated, complaints must generally be handled through the respective seller, as the statutory warranty claim lies with the retailer from whom the item was purchased. The outlet in Montabaur no longer exists.

Should you decide to purchase one of our products again in the future, we would be happy to recommend ordering directly through our official online shop. This allows us to guarantee you direct and prompt assistance from our own customer service team in case of any service matters.

Inexistant customer support. I wrote them two times in the last two weeks, no response.
Also, she shoe quality is poor.

Incompetent or just plain fraudulent?

I placed my first ever order with Melvin & Hamilton.fr for a pair of shoes in size 38 and received a pair of boots in size 40! Well, mistakes can happen, I thought, so I returned the parcel the next day after requesting a refund.
They then confirmed they had received the returned parcel and would process the refund. However, several days later, I still hadn't received the refund. When I contacted them, they said the warehouse had mistakenly sent a replacement out instead. They are now refusing to process the refund until the second unwanted parcel - which I haven't received - is returned to them...
