I’m extremely disappointed with this work
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience dealing with Dilip.
He quoted for work on my backyard, front garden, fencing, and an extended pergola. The job started in October 2025, and to this day it remains incomplete. I have had to continuously follow up just to get updates or any progress.
At the beginning, he agreed to 50% upfront and the balance upon completion. However, throughout the project, he repeatedly requested additional payments—often sending last-minute messages saying he needed large sums (e.g., $8,000 by the next day) or he wouldn’t continue the work. Under pressure, we made those payments.
Despite only about 50% of the work being completed, approximately 95% of the total payment has already been taken. He has failed to show up as agreed on multiple occasions, and the communication has been very unreliable.
Recently, he again requested more money, and I refused until the work is completed. Unfortunately, this situation has now led me to lodge a complaint with Consumer Affairs.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to be cautious and ensure proper safeguards are in place before engaging in any work arrangements.
I have documented evidence of all communications and payments if required.
