I have used MedLife’sPoor organization and lack of respect for patients – my MedLife experience services twice
In Bucharest, Romania, I have used MedLife’s services twice, and on both occasions the experience was deeply disappointing.
The most recent incident occurred on December 23, 2025, when I had an appointment scheduled approximately three weeks in advance for routine blood and urine tests. I followed all the official preparation instructions provided on the MedLife website and took a day off work specifically for this appointment.
Upon arrival at the reception desk, I was informed that some of the urine tests could not be performed, as the laboratory would not be operating in the following days. This information had not been communicated to me in advance, despite the fact that my appointment had been confirmed.
I asked why the scheduled patients had not been notified ahead of time so they could decide whether to still come in or reschedule their tests. The response I received was lacking in empathy and professionalism, implying that it would have been “too complicated” to contact all patients affected by this internal scheduling error.
I find it unacceptable for patients to be sent on unnecessary trips and to lose time, money, and days off work due to internal scheduling mistakes that are solely the clinic’s responsibility. Basic respect for patients would have required timely notification and an apology.
My experience with MedLife caused frustration, discomfort, and the feeling that my time and needs do not matter. For this reason, I will not use this clinic’s services again and cannot recommend it.
Note: I gave one star only because the platform does not allow submitting a review without selecting a rating. Otherwise, I would have given zero stars.
