I took a full blood count test at home. It was easy to do , the turnaround and result came the day after I sent the sample off.
The website on the the other hand is difficult to navigate, and logging in is almost impossible. I just about managed to activate my test. I spent about an hour trying to log in. It just doesn't recognise my password. I'm glad, I got the results by email because yet again I can't access the dashboard. For that reason, and that reason only, I won't be using Medicines Online again . Its a shame really because the service is really good.

This is not the first time I have visited this clinic. They have good prices and can order delivery online. Good and fast online support if any questions arise. The results are sent by email, it is advisable to save the results somewhere, since they do not store your results in their database for a long time.

Customer service is very supportive when I have question to ask. Result is back very quick.

The HomeKit test is positive but I re-checked in Bupa which is negative. I reached out the customer service and they claim that their result is accurate. The only goal for them is to defend themselves but not to listen to feedback and investigate further to improve their product and customer service.

Very helpful, efficient. Regularly used their service as a family when had confirmed or suspected Covid and their PCR testing has been quick and provided us with reassurance as a family to mix again.

I ordered two tests to a value of over £100 purely to help with mental health by ruling out some causes for concern, this was my first experience of using this company but not at home blood tests. The overall experience was faultless from start to finish. Fast results much easier than using your doctors surgery.

They helped me when i made a mistake was my own fault and they were good to me and the test came back quicker than other companies. also lots more offered than other places very good and helpful.

I had ordered the wrong type of test and they kindly offered me the correct test as a replacement with a small fee. (Under £10 with delivery) I was kind of worried at first that I would have to pay again. 😊

I forgot to take my sample number. I thought it was all lost, but luckily i send a sms to the customer services with my post mail tracking number and all was sorted. Very prompt response. Happy

I was fooled by the rating on here because although the average rating is just shy of 4/5, almost HALF of all reviews are 1/5! I wish I’d checked those first. A lot of experiences are similar to mine, detailed below.

A greedy, morally reprehensible company that I would advise anyone to stay well clear of.

I ordered one of their online kits to check my liver function. Ordinarily I’d use a more reputable company, but MO is comparatively cheap (turns out there’s a good reason for that!) and given the financial crisis was all I could afford.

The kit arrive promptly, but I was stunned at the size of the blood sample tube, which needed to be filled to the top. I’ve used three of four other such home testing kits from other companies over the years, and the blood sample tubes were a fraction of the size/didn’t need to be filled.

I thought it would be impossible to obtain enough blood to fill it even half way, but decided to try as the test was important.

I used the first lance on one finger and, unlike all those I’ve used before in which I’ve not felt a thing, this really hurt, and left an angry bruise on the pad of my finger.

I secreted as much as I could into the tube, but it was a pitiful amount in relation to the fill line. So I continued with the other two lances, which again were painful and left my fingers bruised and swollen.

After a messy, painful and frustrating process, following all the instructions for maximum yield, the tube was not even 10% full!

Sore and angry, I got in touch with MO’s customer services, which is a WhatsApp number, and detailed the above.

They didn’t give a damn, and told me they don’t issue refunds. Perhaps that’s in the small print, but seeing as I’d paid for a service I now wasn’t going to receive, I thought it was appalling that they wouldn’t do even a partial refund of the £40+ I’d paid out, at a time when I am homeless, destitute, unable to feed myself adequately, and too ill to even get to my doctors surgery hence needing the test. They offered for me to go to a clinic in London for the blood ti be drawn for the test, which is absolutely ridiculous as if I’m unable to get to my surgery 25 minutes away, how did they think I would get to London, two and a half hours away from me? They knew I couldn’t/no sane person would do that, which is why they offered. Makes it look like they’re offering a solution when it’s laughably impractical.

The items sent to me would have likely cos the company a few quid at the very most, and the bulk of what I’d paid was surely for the actual diagnostic tests which they now wouldn’t be doing for me.

Eventually they agreed to refund £20, but despite me chasing it up, they never issued the refund, instead completely stonewalling me.

I can’t stand companies like this getting away with rinsing vulnerable customers, so I’m looking at possible avenues for recourse. In the mean time I will continue to advise people to not to waste their money with these scum bags.

Ive used this service twice and would never go anywhere else for my medical needs, amazing customer service. I messed up on my test and after explaining I was told to get a replacement but instead of paying full price, I got offered a discount. It’s the little things that make a big difference. Blood minerals test gave dangerously low sodium result. Told NHS 111 and they told me to go to A&E immediately. 8 hours later after various tests they confirmed sodium levels absolutely fine. NHS Doctor said this and all other Medicine Online results should be ignored. Wasted day and money on test - grrrrr!
Told Medicines Online via email and got response including "...your sodium levels measured 125 mmol/l, which falls within the reference range of 130-146 mmol/l". I may not be medical but I understand numbers and 125 is definitely NOT in the range 130-146.
Appaling, will never use again.

Needed a PCR test for a travel insurance claim.

I was already testing positive with a lateral flow test and showing typical symptoms.

When the result came back it was negative. Fit to fly.

I contacted medicines online and told them I was still testing positive at home. After some checking they then noticed that one of their staff had incorrectly input a negative result. I was in fact POSITIVE.

Whilst able to send proof via e mail this company were unable to change the result in my online account.

Be wary of your result!
