I had an extremely disappointing experience with this company, both as a customer and as someone who briefly worked there during training. They seem to cover up negative reviews by posting fake positive ones, which is deeply misleading to customers who are trusting them with important tests.

During my short time there, I witnessed serious issues with how the business is run. The owner does not seem to have proper staffing, which results in overworked employees—many of whom are inexperienced and unpaid trainees handling actual customer samples. As trainee, I was expected to work long hours without breaks and was even put in a position where I was testing samples with no supervision. This raises major concerns about the accuracy and reliability of their testing process.

No one was properly teaching me, and there was no qualified person overseeing the tests. Considering that people were relying on these results for important health matters—such as STD tests or other medical screenings—I felt incredibly uncomfortable with how things were being handled. Because of this, I decided to leave, as I couldn’t be part of a place that operates so irresponsibly.

People pay good money for these services, expecting professionalism and accuracy, but the way things are handled behind the scenes is highly unprofessional and concerning. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere for more reputable services.

Blood test conducted at the online clinic, located on Falcon Road in London, has not yielded any results thus far. Instead, I have received multiple response documents bearing a different date, along with a notification of blood test rejection. The issue stemmed from my attempt to perform an at-home test using the kit provided. Back in November, upon returning the kit by post, I encountered difficulties in extracting sufficient blood droplets to fill the designated tube. Consequently, I scheduled an appointment at the clinic due to health concerns, viewing their services as a viable solution, especially since I had already made payment for three blood tests. Having discovered the company through an internet search, I am now questioning its legitimacy, given my unsatisfactory experience. As a precautionary measure, I am in the process of seeking either my test results or a refund. The significance of this blood test cannot be understated, and I am left uncertain about the whereabouts of the blood sample - whether it has been stored, disposed of, or otherwise handled.

Had a pretty good experience with them. They offer quite a wide range of tests which makes it super convenient if you need to check different things at once. Prices are definitely more affordable compared to other places in London, which is a huge plus. Ordering was simple and the instructions easy to follow. The delivery was super fast and the packaging was discreet which I loved. Their customer service was nice, friendly and helpful, but they could be a bit quicker in responding or maybe a little more proactive. It wasn't bad, just not amazing. The only downside was that my results took longer to arrive than I expected but the fact that I got them by email within a few hours after I emailed the customer service was great. I liked that I didn't need to log into a portal or something like that. Overall I'd recommend them for their prices and good-quality tests! If they could improve their response time and speed up the results time a bit they could easily be a 5*!

I was frustrated by lack of immediate response from their WhatsApp Customer Services (technical issues) - however, once that was sorted out, my query was promptly answered.

This review is not for their service but writing it as an applicant for the job. First of all, there was alot of miscommunication. I was told on the phone call that I am gonna get paid for my trial days (which were 5) but when I reached there (spending money on my train ticket), they told me that they will not pay me for 2 months long training as well left alone my 5 days trial period (if its about work experience, didn’t they check my CV while accepting my application?) There wasn’t any interview for the role. The director asked me to finish my training without giving any clarity of time period plus there wasn’t any documentation and everything was just verbally decided which was bit weird for me.
Even thats not the reason for me leaving them this review. The director made several biased remarks. The work environment felt very toxic. They are just using people who are desperate to get a job. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

I want to raise awareness about my disappointing and deeply troubling experience with Medicines Online, particularly with its Director, Perry James Brennan. It’s taken a lot for me to speak out, but I feel it’s necessary to protect others from going through the same situation.

During my time with Medicines Online:

— I was subjected to a racist comment from Mr. Brennan, who told me I should "speak the British way." when I asked simple questions and he try to speak over me.

— Despite undergoing full training, I was not paid for my time and was never given clarity on whether I had actually been hired for the role.

Instead of providing support, Mr. Brennan repeatedly gaslit me, making false accusations that I was bullying him.

— When we began our training for lab techniques he just gave us the SOPs and a video related to it. Only told us about the relevant reagent, samples and anything hours after.

— In the Lab there were no professional scientists, just 4 candidates left practically unsupervised

— He try to make us do unpaid training but did not disclose how many days this would and whether or not I have a job at the end of it.

I believe no one should have to endure this type of behaviour in a professional environment. Transparency, respect, and fairness are the bare minimum any organization should offer its potential employees.

I’m sharing this to warn others—stay cautious and trust your instincts when something feels off.

Now Perry is creating fake accounts to slander me and others who are raising their concerns of his work ethics. I have had many ex employees reach out to me regarding his behaviour and similar experiences.

Also for your information Perry an Interview doesn't take 8 hours. Not only that I am a UK citizen born and raised here, don't bring up the question of nationality when you can barely keep up "British etiquette" even a child with autism is well mannered than you.

Very nice people. I went to pick up my order. And I want to say very clean and fast process of click and collect.

It’s my first time buying from this company.

I read all the reviews even the ones from years ago. And for the staff I met, all speaking excellent English. And I felt safe and comfortable with them.

There is a positive feeling and calm and kind atmosphere.

They obviously choose the best staff to work there. Kindness is part of a clinic experience and I definitely found that all the staff are kind and positive.

And I like that. It’s good that I can trust a company that is not just hiring anybody who is a walk-in from the street.

I will be back tomorrow with my girlfriend for a co-test with her.

Health is important to my girlfriend and now I see that being healthy together creates a bond between us. I didn’t realise how significant that extra frequency of connection is to have with people that you care about.

I can recommend this company.

They made my realise it’s a connection experience.

There are easier companies to use. Many services are added extras during the ordering process. Impossible to track deliveries or when samples are returned. Website is not fit for purpose as it doesn't update with sample activation or test results. Test results are given as one word and don't provide info to show each element that has been tested.

Clear and straightforward to order. Plenty of information on which to base my order too.

Received packaged very quickly and results within 3 days (total) sonthat was great.
Thing is, results are not explained, there's two seats of figures and a "comments" section, which was empty! So I've no idea if action is required or no. I feel that if there's a reading you need to investigate they should comment that results need to be discussed with your GP.
I've spent the money and no idea what to do with the result.
I've emailed and sent a message via WhatsApp asking. The response was they cannot tell you.

I do feel that they could comment as to whether the result is inside or outside the range. They don't have to prompt you to see a dr but this information would help.

However, they were very helpful and prompt.

This company is great. Fast results and also getting my near instant prescription but I had to ask their customer service on WhatsApp if I could have it so fast. They contacted the Doctor and I paid extra £50.

I got my lab HIV result today. I don’t have it. I’m so happy.

I had to get 2 tests for HIV after someone told me that a guy I was with had it.

It’s been 2 months of stressful waiting for the incubation.

Now I am free. And I think the person that told me he had HIV lied to me.

Thank goodness that this lab is cost effective and fast.

I recommend the while you wait fee. For £50 I got my result in 30 mins.

I feel so happy the last few days. It’s a Great feeling to be clear.

Process went awry when Post Office couldn’t scan the return envelope and I had to pay £8.35 postage. This meant that any references were obliterated by the new postage stickers. Obviously this meant that once received it didn’t automatically marry up with my account. Fortunately I spoke to a lady who said she would look out for it arriving which she did. She was very kind and helpful.
