Poor service
A couple of minutes after I purchased a policy, I requested a hard copy. They asked me to provide further details. This is the first time, I’ve experienced this type of issue. Other previous insurers had no problem processing this request. I promptly deleted the policy.

I was able to find a policy that suits my health conditions and my budget.
I have several health issues which means that an annual policy is outside my price range, but single trip policies works out cheaper as I don't travel more than a couple of times a year.

Double check entries
Initially I had difficulty moving forward from quote to pay. However when I started from scratch again I realised I had originally missed putting a health condition so it was a good thing in the end.

The comparison site was as easy to use…
The comparison site was as easy to use as a car insurance one. No problems there. The most difficult thing is (particularly as a novice) was a)understanding what things you need to declare to ensure you don't risk the their threats of dismissing your claim for a tiny omitted unrelated thing and b) extracting all the important features from the pages of IPID and full wording policy. I recommend using Chat GPT for the latter. I just copied and pasted the best quotes and their document texts and it analysed them in seconds, giving good comparison, well reasoned opinion and advising if the cover was sufficient for our needs.

Finding an insurance made easier
Made it quite easy to find an insurance policy suited for us. The ability to compare policies is a bit restricted to only the items that are most common. And doesn’t show the whole lot. Like repatriation and these we had to dig further on each suppliers site.
