Loved the “ you won’t be charged” …
by the time I bailed out and downloaded the legit parking app. My banks fraud protection department called me. Shut this scammer down.
I don't know how this company was able to take $58.80 US dollars from my Canadian account. It's extremely fraudulent. They said it's mediaactivation.net and they're saying that I have some sort of streaming or music account.
Same story for me. Beach parking lot requires you to pay by parking app. I followed instructions but maybe the QR code was hacked? Although the site said it was for the parking app, and they actually sent me to the real parking app after taking credit card info. But then couldn’t cancel this site or get response to email. I had to cancel the credit card. Annoying!
Scam inbedded add on a legit page makes you think you are providing information for a parking app but they are signing you up for a trial streaming service and billing you 39.95
Tried to register for Uber. This site, appeared and seamed to have the information of my credit card! Wanted to charge me 39,95$ a month. I cancelled my card immediately. SCAM!
This is a scam ! I bought hockey tickets on Ticketmaster february 6, but I have to load an app and was transferred probably on this site ! The morning after, I looked my credit card account and I see a $2.87 CAN from TUFRMO.US I received an e-mail from that site for a free 3-day-trial (???) and after that it will be $39.95 US per month....I finally found that site and I'm unable to cancel....so I sent an e-mail but no response from them....I have to call my bank account to stop future payments from that company ! Be careful !
This is a scam out right I scanned the bar code for parking and the page it sent me to said down load app so I hit download immediately it asked for my card info but I thought it was the parking site so I entered it and after I entered it I thought it would have me put in the area I parked but it sent me to another page advertising other apps all them are scams also luckily I back out that page and didn’t try and download others cause I was immediately notified of a scam by my card company for 1.95 from contentbodega.net I am reporting them to the federal government
Really deserves a ZERO. This is a scam site masquerading as a download for a parking app. Little tiny writing with a check box that opts you in to a lot of Bullshit charges
This site masquerades as an online parking payment app, although it in NOT an app. Immediately. I was immediately notified by my bank of suspicious charges. BEWARE. SCAM!!!
I had to download a parking app "PayByPhone" to use a parking meter. When I started downloading the app, this web site appeared as some sort of download site (not the app), It was NOT the parking meter app I needed, nothing was downloaded. and I was charged $1.95 and entered into a recurring $39.95 subscription. I immediately closed the site. No services or anything received or downloaded, and of course you can't cancel unless you call. Media-Activation.net from Magtastic, Inc is a scam. The charge was charged to Cystrea.xyz Miami, Usa. Comes up right after scanning PayByPhone download QR code that is physically on the meter. Masquerades as The PaybyPhone app and immediately charges you and starts subscription. This is internet fraud. The website's owner is hiding his identity on WHOIS using a paid service This website does not have many visitors This website has only been registered recently.
