I have made 2 offers for a certain pocketbook neither was relayed to the seller They say they have to charge 2 small charges on my charge card before they will put it through I have never heard of such a thing I will probably delete the mecari app

Man this website is a headache. Made a purchase it was shipped after a week. No response from seller. Had to buy it locally. 2 week later item arrived. Wanted to return it. Seller and customer service were the worst. On top of that they didn’t post my negative review for the seller! They added a positive on my behalf. That’s how I got scammed - seeing a seller with positive reviews! The website is heaven for irresponsible sellers!

This is the worst reseller platform I have ever used. Even if the listing is not described and you contact same day, there is no return possible. I received a garment that had an unpleasant odor that is very potent and was not on the listing and cannot return. the customer service is very unprofessional and unhelpful. You’re much better off with thred up!

DO NOT DEAL WITH MERCARI! they are no good. you
must "create an account" to buy on ebay. you are told
to list an 8 digit password. then told it isn't long enough. they hide the fact you have to buy a $4.95
protection plan. the postage is too high. avoid any
seller who uses mercari. we finally we forced to
use paypal instead of a credit card. CROOKS.

If you are accustomed to using eBay, you will probably hate mecari! My first and last experience with them was as about as bad as online shopping experience can get. I purchased a ceramic tureen from a seller who did not wrap the item properly (I have never received an item so poorly wrapped from any seller on eBay.) and the item, of course, arrived shattered in pieces. Now the "fun" began! Unlike eBay, mecari has no mechanism in place to contact the seller and send photos. They also have no link on their site for filing a dispute. I finally managed to get a web message to their customer service, who replied through email asking for an additional DOZEN photos. I complied and they responded that the photos were not in the proper format. THEY WERE JPEGS!!! After about 5 more email exchanges -- every time with a different associate -- I finally located the company's customer service number. However, when I called it and moved through all the prompts, I got the message that "service was not available in my area." Disconnect. Finally, I had to file a dispute with PayPay, who, fortunately, took care of the problem. Do not do business with mecari!

This site do not give me choices on shipping. I was trying to have a item shipped by UPS or FedEx.
I would never use this site ever again.
NO MORE Ordering from this site.
USPS need to be banned because they are slow ass and short staffed here. USPS is totally un-reliable!

I purchased a WII game and it was received at my address 6 days ago while I was out of town. I tried it today and it doesn’t work. When I contacted Mecari they said I only had 3 days to inspect it. I thought it was important to alert other shoppers. I won’t be using this site in the future.

I purchased some software. When I received it, it was a bootleg copy. It was on DVD burned by the seller and the name of the app was handwritten with a black marker. AND, the disc was broken.
A note was enclosed saying I would receive an email with a link to download the software and an activation key. Never got it.
I confronted the seller and she pretended to be offended that I said the software was a bootleg copy. She would not give me a refund until I said I was going to send the disk and a link to her page to the software vendor. A few weeks later, her page was gone. She probably just set up a new page under a different name.
I did send the items to the software company.
I found the same app, but a newer version, on ebay for $10 less. I immediately received an emailed with a link to the software company's site to download the app.
I also contacted Mercari and never got help from them.

I have made quite a few purchases on this site. I recently spent over $500 for a necklace that I trusted would look like the picture. When received I saw that the diamonds were super tiny and did not look like the picture as the setting made them look larger. The seller did not provide stone dimensions. They denied my return request. I'll never buy another item on this site.
