We had struggled to find someone able to fix an issue with our underfloor heating pump that had left us with no heating. Our Homecare plan and other tradesmen were unable to help. We contacted Mearns Energy Solutions after a desparate Google Search, and were really impressed with the service - Muhammad came out at night just to help us, fixed everything, had all the materials and spare parts to hand, checked it all worked before leaving, and the price was incredibly reasonable. He was polite, courteous and very helpfully answered our questions and explained what was wrong so that we understood things. We were very pleased with the service and they really inspired confidence. Mearns Energy Solutions are clearly very experienced and confident at handling any sort of technical issue to do with heating and plumbing. They really know their stuff and we would highly recommend them.

Installed boiler through eco grant, great team did a brilliant job we are happy with the results highly recommended.

Installed a new boiler. Really good job! Professional and courteous. I even had a small problem with one of the radiators (nothing to do with the new boiler) nevertheless they came back out and sorted it for me in five minutes. I would highly recommend using this company and would definitely use them in the future. Very happy customer 👍

This review is about Mearns Energy Solutions Ltd and not Eco Providers.Mearns Energy Solutions is run by Muhammed Zubair, they fitted a new boiler for us under the government grant scheme called Eco4.
The following day our flat and the flat below us were flooded because the above fitter and his apprentice failed to secure the water pipe from the boiler to the sink outlet, so that when the heating was switched on all the water from the boiler poured out the unsecured pipe and flooded both our flats, the damage caused by this company cost us £800 and we want this money reimbursed by them.
I asked them for their public liability Insurance agents details but they have ignored my request, maybe they do not have any insurance.
I am at a loss as to what to do now as they are not communicating with me. Has anyone been through the same, if so how did you get recompensed?.
