- MC Glass opened its first premises in Little Common, East Sussex in September 1996. We have grown in size and now have 15 members of staff. We have always prided ourselves on customer care and a second to none after sales service. Everything we fit including conservatories, windows and doors has a guarantee, many items up to ten years, and we can offer an insurance backed guarantee. We have a separate department for small works and repairs to windows whether we have installed them or not, includes hinges, handles, etc. All our staff are directly employed, giving us complete control from the estimate through to the finished job. Most of our work is in the Sussex area – Bexhill, Hastings, Eastbourne and Rye, although we do travel to the Kent and Surrey areas for customers who have been recommended to us by previous clients.

Prompt and efficient service from MCGlass
24 years ago MCGlass double glazed my whole house,
a porch was added 2years later. this year 2024, I had to have the street door handle replaced. then in May this year 1 small window needed to be replaced as the seal had gone. THE TWO TIMES i have had to contact the company, I was politely and efficiently treated , with very prompt service. Well done MCGlass.

Good helpful fitters but very poor customer service
Two years ago we had several windows replaced by MC Glass, including a first floor bedroom window. During its fitting approximately twenty-five hanging tiles were dislodged, smashing on the driveway below and narrowly missing our cars. The fitters immediately reassured us, several times, that everything would be put right. MC Glass eventually sent a couple of roofers to effect repairs, but some months later the repair failed and the same tiling fell to the ground. After some chasing they were again replaced, but a few months later the same tiles collapsed again. In view of the obvious safety implications I told MC not to send the contractor again and instead I arranged for a local builder to do a proper job. After the work was completed I sent a copy of the invoice to MC Glass with a request for repayment but, despite reminders and a hand-delivered copy to their office in Little Common in case the others had been lost, over 3 months later I am still without a response of any kind from them. Having spent a total of around £45K with this business it is particularly disappointing to be treated in this way. We always got on well with their fitters for whom nothing was ever too much trouble, but in our case MC’s subsequent customer service has turned out to be non-existent. We had previously recommended MC Glass to friends and neighbours, but now our only advice has to be - steer well clear.

New warm roof on conservatory
Our quote was sent very quickly, and new warm roof for conservatory was fitted three/four weeks later.
Fitters were amazing, advising what was happening daily, and extremely tidy and cleaned up every afternoon.

Impressions overall
2 nice guys fitting. Would worry about putting down dirty old dusts sheets to cover the floors. Also unfortunately both windows are millimetres narrower than before so I can only use one of my vertical blinds.

Excellent service every time
We have used MC glass a number of times as we have gradually renovated our home's doors and windows as funds allow. The jobs always go smoothly, they are reliable and efficient at replying to the initial enquiry, quick to measure up and get the quote to us, and the products are great quality and good value. Each time we have had the same father and son fitting team. They are very polite, friendly, helpful and tidy and do an fantastic job. We are happy to trust them in our home whilst we are out, and they are very considerate in regards to our dog and it's safety, and are careful with gates and doors. Overall we find all aspects of the service we have received as outstanding.

McGlass SE have given a good services…
McGlass SE have given a good services and have worked around any installation issues to deliver a good looking warm roof.
The installation team carried out the work with as little disruption in the bungalow as possible. The only testing part was fitting the works during the winter weather.
Early days yet as only finished a few days ago but looking forward to using the conservatory over an extended period in the colder months which was not possible under the glass roof.
