Doorbell turned up today no batteries can’t see where to buy them. Item looks so cheap read the reviews about the doorbell wish I’d never brought it. Seems it will be hard to get a refund seems the company know the doorbells are crap.

Same as everyone else. Rubbish doorbell doesn't work sounds like it's under water, 2 random batteries and the chime didn't work. Sent it all back a month ago no refund what a surprise! He buys these items from alibaba for £1.82 a piece. Contact your bank and get an indemnity charge back from this scam artist

Maxwe have terrible customer service. I also purchased a video doorbell from them which did not work. The item was purchased via Living Social. Maxwe did not respond to any of my communications but I finally got refunded with the help of Living Social.

Absolutely terrible customer service, purchased this video doorbell, comes without batteries (had to wait a week for them to arrive) no matter how many times I've tried!! Doesn't connect!!! Emailed twice & didn't even bother to reply to me, shocking!!! Waste of time & money. I will be leaving this review on every site I find!! Worst company I've ever had the misfortune to deal with!!

It didn’t work so I was told to send it back both wocher and maxwe
Have done nothing but stall and still haven’t received a refund it’s only £23 but I doesn’t mater bad company just don’t like paying back any money

Really wished I had read these reviews before purchasing this wireless doorbell. It came without batteries, which I find shocking as the product is wireless? On trying to pair it with my WiFi and mobile phone, it wouldn’t connect. Tried several times over the next few days. I paid £36.98 for a doorbell and ringer which is totally useless. Emailed Wowcher. No response to my emails. Absolutely disgusted that customers are being mislead by this seller and Wowcher for allowing it. I have started a case with PayPal now. Please do not buy from Maxwe. I doubt I will use Wowcher again. First and last time!!

Just an update to my previous review, sorry for the bad spelling by the way - fat finger syndrome! Anyway, just a bit of advice would be to lodge your complaints with Resolver. They will take all the details of your complaint and pass on to Wowcher to follow up with MAXWE. If you don't get a response after 28 days Resolver will escalate the case to the Managing Director of Wowcher and, hopefully, they will not deal with this company again. Good luck!

Bought two of these wifi doorbells and I was charged double the postage, even though they arrivrd in the same package. There was no batteries included and they were also very cheap looking. I requested to send them back and get a refund. They signed for the return package last Saturday but have still not tefunded me. I have sent several emails but they have not responded. Do not buy from this company. I am hoing to make formal complaint to Wowcher.

What a load of crap. Ordered one of the camera doorbell its cheaply made, won't pair with the phone. I can't get a reply from emails from Maxwe and wowcher I can only get hold of on whatsapp, same automated reply every time, they say eventually you are being transferred to a human but this can be any time in the next 24 hours and I keep missing the reply. By the time I see it its gone back to the automated messages.

Update I have now been refunded I kept emailing wowcher refused to return the bell but threatened to send it to trading standards along with a link to their add suggesting it to be a ring doorbell also threatened to spread these reviews all over social media it worked and got my money back for the bell but not the postage. but at least I am only £4 something out of pocket instead of 30 odd.

Orderd the door bell bundle. Batterys not sent even though thay are meant to be included emaild 3 times no response. Stay away

You not not even deserve the 1 star had to press something to write this review. What a waste of money. The doorbell do not work I sent an email to see how I can return the door bell They said 14 days to sort it out. Over 3 weeks now and no respond to my emails this is just a rip off. I take it they do not do customer service in their company. It pays to go to shop and purchase items now even if you have to pay extra. I am so angry for the lack of communication. 😡

How do I set up a claim from these people? They don't answer emails. They sent me a doorbell with camera that smoked! My grandson took it down and burnt his hand, one of the batteries was too hot to handle. Crap company, crap product, please avoid!

I would give no star but not a option.
So I purchased this doorbell camera and it doesn't work, even spent £25 buying the batteries and charger.
Woucher say I have to go through Maxwe after reading these reviews I'm not hopefully of getting my money back.
Shame on you woucher for using poor company's

I have found my Maxwe video doorbell to be good value for money. It works well as a bell and camera. I would however like to know if I can hard wire the cam or bell unit so I do not run the batteries down and cannot find any help on this either from Maxwe or elsewhere. I would also like to know if I can turn off the video and just have the bell working to make the batteries last longer before needing recharging.

Bought a Wireless Video Doorbell and it does not connect to my Android phone and on further investigation, does not support above 2.4g! Totally useless. Having to send back to their address and pay further postage.
My advice: DO NOT BUY!!

The item was junk, rubbish, can’t buy the batteries for the item in the U.K.
got in touch with wowcher who passed my details on, maxwe got in touch and gave me the return address and info etc.. sent it back signed for delivery - been trying to chase up getting the refund. I can see the signature and it had been delivered over a month ago. Still waiting... wish I had read the reviews... they are now ignoring my emails.

Awful company. Do not buy from Wowcher or here. Products are faulty, fake and just junk .. then when you try to get a refund , this company ignores you completly after realising they are in the wrong. Stay clear at all costs or just flush your money down the toilet. Pretty much the same thing !!! I will not be giving up trying to get my money back even if it takes me a year!!
