And again a very good experience with Max's. I brought in to fix a few scratches on my Collings D 1A and to correct the intonation of an Ortega Ukulele, I bought elsewhere a few month ago. Laurens did a brillant job on both tasks, I might say, as he usually does. There's always a very friendly welcome and prices are really fair. If you'll have anything on your instruments, I strongly recommend his work as a brillant luthier he is.

I rarely write reviews
I rarely write reviews, but Max Guitar absolutely deserves one. I bought a new Eastman from them while I was on vacation in the Netherlands. After the purchase I noticed a few things that worried me, and instead of brushing me off, the team took their time, listened carefully and checked everything with genuine interest.
What impressed me most was that they didn’t just want to sell me a guitar – they wanted me to leave happy with the instrument. You can immediately tell that the people working there are real guitar enthusiasts who genuinely care about their customers.
The atmosphere in the store was relaxed, I never felt pressured, and I was able to spend plenty of time trying guitars. Their selection is incredible, but the service is what really sets them apart.
Thanks again to everyone at Max Guitar. The Eastman is an amazing guitar, and I’ll definitely visit again whenever I’m in the Netherlands. Highly recommended!

Their service keeps me coming back to Max
Robbert (and his team at Max Guitar) just delivered me a beautiful Lakewood M-32cp guitar. Reasonable trade-in offers and great service keeps me coming back to them. After a CS Fender strat hardtail, a Huber Krautster and a CS Heritage, this was my 4th guitar in the last 3 years. And I'm afraid it won't be my last 😬👍

Fair prices and excellent service
I’ve contacted Max Guitar for a possible trade in via WhatsApp and was answered very quickly. Robert and his team offer fair prices with excellent service. The guitar delivered to me was in the condition as described with some nice extras and a setup. Second guitar I bought from Max Guitar and would recommend them to everyone looking for a new or used gear.

Thanks very much to the guys in Max Guitar for looking after me throughout my purchase of an Ibanez Jem. They went above and beyond to make sure this guitar was reserved for me when the payment on my end wasn't working and provided a work around.
The guitar was strung up with the strings of my choosing.
I have received it today, and it's in an absolute perfect condition and set up with a lovely low action. Thanks very much again. I'm delighted with my purchase.

Thinking of buying a guitar from Max Guitars - DON’T until you’ve read this …
I ordered an Ibanez guitar from Max Guitar having emailed the store in advance about the guitar and having received an email reply that the guitar was new and ‘available in our warehouse’. A week later I received an email stating that ‘I have some disappointing news for you … the guitar you ordered isn’t available after all’. I was also promised ‘We’ll issue a refund immediately’. A week on again there is no sign of a refund. I’m now going to have to dispute the charge with my credit card company to get my money back. I ordered from Max because of all of the positive reviews on TrustPilot. Thinking of buying a guitar from Max Guitars … my advice is simple … DON’T !

Okay. first of all I am sorry to see that you are diappointed and very bitter. I gave you a decent and friendly answer yesterday as to why it took a little longer. However it seems that you were in a hurry to badmouth us regardless. that is a pity and very unnecessary. again here is the explanation. The guitar in question was listed as 'online only' meaning that this is a dropshipping item sent directly from the distributor to the customer. In this case the guitar wasn't available anymore. a simple technical issue, something that can happen. After communication with you the refund was initiated IMMEDIATELY. You used a credit card through paypal and it is because of this that the factual refund takes longer. Your money is not 'gone' nor do we have it anymore. It is simply a fact that this particular way of refund takes longer to complete. I would like to ask you to look at this reasonable and review you criticism
