INSTALLED THE WRONG BRAKE PADS — DO NOT USE THE TARRYTOWN LOCATION!!!

I went to this location for a tire issue and was told I urgently needed new front brake pads and rotors because my car was unsafe to drive without them. I was out of town and still had many miles to drive, so I agreed to the service.

Afterward, something immediately felt off while driving. When I returned home, I brought my car to my local mechanic and learned that the brake pads installed were the incorrect size and too small for my vehicle. Any qualified mechanic should have recognized they were not the proper fit.

Not only was the work done incorrectly, but I was sent back on the road in an unsafe vehicle with my children. That is unacceptable.

I simply asked for a refund for the brake pad labor and the hydraulic flush service they performed (I was even willing to pay for the rotors since those appear to be fine), but they have refused to make this right despite what could have been a very dangerous mistake.

Based on this experience, I would not trust this location for repairs or safety-related work.

This morning I got a flat tire , I waited for the shop to open , Christian fixed my tire and got me out the shop in 30 mnts . He was so understanding, the staff are amazing there.

WE HAD A TIRE PROBLEM AND BROUGHT IT TO MAVID. THEY JUMPED ON IT AND HAD US ON THE ROAD IN NO TIME.
WE TRUST THEM WITH OUR CARS AND ARE HAPPY TO HAVE THEM LOCAL.

I was in and out after working a night shift. The staff were friendly greeted me as I walked in the door. Davon explained what the tire experts were doing. Price was reasonable. I will be returning 🤗.

My experience at Mavis is always great but especially when Dayvon is working his customer service skills are great. I went in for brakes and rotors and the wait time was not bad at all highly recommended this Mavis.

I love going to Mavis in Tarrytown the workers are very helpful the service is excellent as well as the prices. I went to Mavis for new tires and an oil change and was in and out very quickly, the best place to go to for car service.

I like going to Mavis Tires in Tarrytown. You are usually in an out for quick oil change. When other work needs to be done they work hard to get you out in a reasonable time frame....

Tarrytown is the best Mavis location in Westchester! These guys are always upfront and honest about the work that needs to be done and they go above and beyond to make it happen in a timely manner. I saw the mechanic even cleaning up my rims for me, which was a really nice touch! I recommend them to everyone.
