Mavis Tires in Selma, AL

This is a review of Mavis Tires and Brakes in Selma, AL, for their work on June 24, 2026. We had a brake problem on our RV built on a Chevrolet 3500 chassis. We arrived at 8 am (opening time) as arranged and the work was begun but wasn't completed until 6 pm. We experienced a mechanic who lacked some in experience. (He couldn't figure out the reason for the brakes not working correctly. I had to call my mechanic in my home area to figure out the reason for incorrect operation of the brakes. He had installed the calipers on the wrong sides.) We also believe they charge over retail price for the parts. Fortunately, the waiting room was comfortable, and it was a friendly atmosphere. We received a small discount upon asking for one due to our experience.
