Product is amazing. Marsblades are fantastic. Shipping/importing costs should be up front. I was surprised to get a call that another $100 was required to release my package from a port in DE. Or... See more

Each century a few new product innovations enter a market to completely change the industry. Like when the carbon fiber hockey stick was launched or when Apples iPhone changed how we see mobile communication. It’s now time for the skating and skiing industry to take the next technology leap. The human body is developed to move with smooth movements to be as energy efficient, fast and powerful as possible. However, the traditional rigid ice and inline skates as well as ski bindings limits the ability to a natural movement pattern. The rocking motion of Flow Motion Technology allows you to get your natural maneuverability back, maximizing performance as well as your skating comfort. Just like there’s no going back to the old wooden hockey stick or the old mobile phone, there’s no going back after trying Flow Motion Technology, trust us. Or, don’t trust us, try our products and find out for yourself.

It doesnt seem that dissimilar from other roller blades but the price is triple……and I had to pay duty.

I ordered weeks ago and my roller blades got the label for shipping and said I’d get them in 3-4 business days and had an estimated time to get to me last Tuesday, they still have yet to ship to me…

Great price for a high quality product! Shipping was fast and efficient. The packaging and presentation was top notch. I will update the review when I install the i2’s on Bauer custom skates in regards to performance .

Imitates the feel of skating very well and provides a great way to train on land. Adjusting rocker is very easy and practical.

Update: Marsblade customer service responded quickly with a resolution that gets me new skates from the US warehouse.
Original: I wish this could have been a positive experience; I'm still hoping it can be. I originally ordered Re:skate O1 Prospect on June 1st, with delivery finally occurring on June 14th; I hadn't realized they'd be shipped directly from Sweden, and even then, delivery time stretched beyond estimates. Having finally received them, I was surprised to discover I had received two left skate boots, which is an unfortunate quality control mistake. I'm hoping customer service can swiftly address the situation, but it's definitely frustrating.

Fast delivery. Very good and responsive customer service. Getting advice directly from the inventor/owner is unheard of from any other company.

The I2’s are an incredible upgrade to the Kickstarter model. The ability for quick removal of the blades is a very nice feature. I love it a lot more than the original holders with the 2 screws. You can remove and install a new set of blades in under 10 seconds. The other nice upgrade I like is the different radii inserts to be able to customize how much or how little you want the holder to rock. I personally love the motion on the original holders so I went with the 14ft radius and the transition to me was seamless. The DLC coated steel is another nice upgrade I feel that it’s much improved and holds the edge longer than before in between sharpenings. The old steel I felt like I wasn’t able to give me that long of a life. I would roll an edge after only a few games and would need them sharpened again. The only con I would say is I’m not a huge fan of the change in the look of the holder pass through hole. Generally on the Tuuk’s as well as the first model Marsblades they had the traditional oval hole. I am sure that the I2’s were changed for strength purposes or some other reason but it makes it difficult to carry the skates. Before I was able to just put my hand through the oval and carry them. Not a huge deal and overall the upgrades to the holders far outweighed the con in the look of the holder. I would highly recommend these to other hockey players. I really feel my speed has improved with using these holders. I am able to really get a great acceleration, especially the first couple strides and turning corners.

I initially got the o1 and had no plans on playing roller hockey.. however I met some boys and over a few weeks of pick up they invited me to their team. Up to this time I’ve really enjoyed my o1’s but would washout a lot so I upgraded the wheels it helped a lot but I still had issues when playing really aggressive. I believe my biggest issue was wheel size. I saw the R1’s use the standard 80807676 and pushed the button grabbed the r1 pro.. the boot is top quality. Perfect out the box haven’t washed out since, love the adjustable rocker. Two thumbs up 5 stars no complaints

So far great skate. My only issue is the boot is a little soft for me. I’m also 230lbs. Not a big problem I still enjoy them. I just should have moved up to the elite or provided my own boot. Other than that they work great!

Horrible. Worst quality sakes I have ever owned, the rocker broke after my third skate, the boot of the skate is abysmal quality and comfort even after baking and waiting the full 24 hours to use and was damaged on arrival. Do not buy these.

My kid never understood cross under/over while skating on the ice.
I think the stress of being looked at and make a mistake made him uncomfortable. I bought a pair of Marsblade skates and I said go practice at your own pace and privacy. He figured it out finally after only a few times All he needed was an 01 Marsblade that imitate the ice skating. It's hard to describe as it took him years to figured it out. He is so happy with his Marsblade. Need new wheels now. Hahahaha.
