I have paid €35 for all my photos and it has taken up to 12hours to process my order
Scanned my selfie, typed in my bib number, emailed the help desk but they have no photos of me from the Valencia half. I definitely ran it!
Weirdly the selfie scan turns up 6 photos of other people including one of a guy with a full head of hair. I am bald!
Not the end of the world as I have lots of other pics from other events but would recommend half-marathon organisers to use someone else.
I paid £14.99 for the video, enticed by the fact that it said it would show me snippets of my journey. When I finally got the video and downloaded it to view, it was absolutely rubbish. You couldn’t see me in any of the shots, photographers in the way of the recording camera at the finish line (that was how it was set up), and a fair amount of it was just views of the sky where I assume the camera had been knocked to be tilting too high up and so none of the runners were actually in frame. Total waste of money and daylight robbery. Tried to complain and no reply. Go to complain on their website and it says it can’t find my event so won’t even attempt to submit my enquiry even though I am typing it in as the event title shows on the photo page. Never again!
Surprised by the bad reviews, I was very happy with my photos. I was able to make an informed judgement about whether to pay because I had an email with all my photos, watermarked - so I knew exactly what I was buying. Thought the price was perfectly reasonable for what I got, very high quality photos from the point of view of angle and focus and all the things that just go to make a good picture. Yes, the resolution is not the highest (mine were between 300 K and 1.2 MB in size) but plenty good enough really, and there is an option to buy the full res images for another £5 (in my case).
Do not use. I paid £9.95 for one image. The file was only 315KB in size and they said that this was the size of the original file. The resolution is not high enough for a decent sized print so this was a total waste of money.
Update: I did manage to get a full refund
Don't bother wasting money with this company, the photograph(s) you will receive are low quality jpegs. If you attempt to zoom, crop or adjust the photograph(s) at all then you are just going to get noise and compression artefacts. Although you get to preview the photos, I incorrectly assumed the preview was purposefully low quality and watermarked to encourage people to buy the original full resolution photograph. This is pretty standard practice. I assumed wrong, what you will receive is the same low quality image just with the watermarks removed. I contacted support asking if the original photographs were available rather than the compressed ones and was told the jpeg is the original photograph, which is clearly not true. The DSLR cameras used at the events do not take 400kb jpeg photographs.
Paris Marathon 2024 : 6 days to get the pictures ready to download. I told support they were needed for a birthday, but in vain. You get the "inflexible/polite" answer ("we acknowledge... but"). A shame, the pictures could not be included in the gift we wanted to offer.
Great and friendly customer support. They react very quickly and in a polite way.
Great South Run.
Just 16 photos taken all of which were on the last mile. Two of these I was obscured. The rest were pairs.
So rubbish value for not very good photos at £25 for all and £9.95 each.
Offered to buy 2 for £10 they never even replied.
Six low-res photos taken within a few moments of each other from only one site on the course. Definition is too small to crop other runners out. Despite their website promising refunds, they ignored my request. Waste of money and very disappointed.
They always take great quality images at a cycling event I participate in every year. The pictures can be ordered and downloaded sometimes even the same day. This time I made a mistake ordering my photos. Their customer service was on it without delay and fixed the issue very quickly (thank you Lyn!).
The company charges a fortune for poor quality digital photos. They don’t send you any hard copies. Definitely don’t purchase the video as mine was very poor quality and could only see myself for 1 second. Their customer services are appalling to deal with.
Expansive pictures with an awful resolution! No high Quality. My friends made pictures from the run with significantly higher Quality. Never again! Be aware that you get pictures which are worse quality than any mobile phone camera
DO NOT BUY THE PICTURES. Low resolution images. Little clarity and blurry. I complained about the resolution and the fact the file sizes of the images were compressed jpeg around 400kb proved this. I asked for a refund or a complaints procedure and was told no. I was also passed to three different people. I’m more annoyed at their complaints procedure, rather than their refund policy. No effort to officially log my complaint.
My 3 and 5 year old daughters ran in the Bournemouth 1km event to raise money for local disabled children charity. The photos that were taken of them were both the same as they ran together, however they still charged double to the sum of thirty pounds for six photos and three of them were identical. I requested for one of the payment be refunded and the response was, check the terms and conditions! When the photos were downloaded, they were very dark as the photographer had taken them into direct sunlight. Never again. Advise anyone to ensure you have a friend or relative to take the photos and spare the expense and disapointment
Ran a Half Marathon they found 18 photos of me, from around the course. Chose "Buy them all" for £25 as a digital download and got 6. E-mailed and used their on line forms to complain and managed to get them all in the end. My wife used them for her photos with no issues at all. I'd say they are overall ok.
