There don’t seem to be many choices when it comes to short scale bass hard cases available in Australia at the moment. This case seems fairly sturdy and of reasonable quality. It is a perfect fit for Fender and Squier Mustang basses. Please note, this case will not fit a Squier Jaguar short scale bass because of its offset body shape.

Hard cases for short scale basses are difficult to find so was very pleased to see this on Manny's website. It is quite well made considering the price BUT it will not fit every bass. My Cort Junior fits easily however my Squier Bronco bass and Vintage Modified Jaguar bass will not. You can shoehorn them in but doing so will distort the case and the locks then don't align. I am happy with my purchase but strongly recommend taking your short scale bass into the store and trying it before purchasing. An extra few centimetres in length and width for future production runs would fix the problem!

Can't go wrong for the price. A lot heavier than a soft case (so not recommended for public transport or bike), but much more protection if you need to throw your bass in the car or van. Not sure I'd go as far as trusting it in an aircraft hold.

THIS CASE IS OF VERY GOOD QUALITY AND SHOULD LAST AS LONG AS I NEED IT. I HAVE BOUGHT A VINTAGE BASS (HOFFNER) AND IT FITS VERY WELL. THANKS
