Mr mann the owner or manager always never there

Mr mann the owner took a gold chain to be tested when my son went in to collect was told wasn't gold he went to collect it, was told they couldn't find it. Gave them a few more days than was phoned yesterday only to be told was 9 CT and he should go collect cash today, wasn't sure what time so he rang them up only to be told it wasn't gold ? As per usual Mr Mann was nowhere to be found that's the manager or owner of shop. I wonder what sort business they running

Rip off jewellers

Please do not take any jewellery to this shop. I took a necklace in and I was offered £20 cash or £50 for part exchange. Two weeks later it is in their window for £295. I trusted them to give me a fair price and I will never go there again and I would advise others not to - the price of silver has not risen that much in the interim period.

Absolutely fantastic experience

Absolutely fantastic experience, came in today with my fiancé to choose an engagement ring, Maria Mann was extremely helpful in choosing some gorgeous designs, I particularly loved the Sophie Mann collection and went home with my dream ring!

Shocking

My wife took her ring into be re-sized, was given a price and we agreed for it to be done. A week later we receive a call to say it is ready. Got there and they done nothing with it and said can't be done but not to worry as "there wouldn't be any charge". Shocking service, wouldn't recommend to anyone. Go to F.Hinds in Merrywalks.

Shopping experience at Mann’s Stroud

Over the years I have shopped, traded in and sold jewellery and gold on a number of occasions at Mann’s Stroud. I have always found the staff to be helpful and knowledgeable and have been treated well as a customer. Deals and prices have been competitive and fair and I have always been happy with purchases and transactions.

I had two 18 carat white gold and …

I had two 18 carat white gold and diamonds wedding rings(one man's and one ladies),which I wanted to sell.I initially took both rings to Sodbury jewellers in Chipping Sodbury and though they do not buy wedding rings I asked the jewellers there to advise me on what would be a realistic figure I could expect to achieve on each ring selling them second hand.He advised me that a sum of £750 (man's ring) and £1000 (ladies ring) was both fair and reasonable to a second hand buyer.Imagine my disgust when taking these rings to Mann jewellers in Stroud to be offered by the jewellers there the figure of £100 and £120 respectively. These figures were actually less than the scrap value weight of the gold itself let alone the fact that each ring contains over a carat of diamonds. This jeweller obviously thinks people are stupid and have not done their homework with high value items they have to sell or he is just out to fleece people by paying a pittance such a staggering level of greed is not only immoral it is downright sickening.
