I find Manheim auctions to be better than there revival auction house in Melbourne.
Customer service is far better and very easy for help if there is any problems.

I previously wrote a review for Manheim Ltd which was ok but i need need to retract that review, I went on to have a truly horrible after sale experience with them they failed to notify DVLA of the sale and have comprised me as a result, I've spent hours on the phone with them and written them numerous times and all they ever do is put me on hold for 45 mins then when they eventually return to the call they say sorry we cant help you, its an absolute joke. My advice is be very careful with this outfit and use an alternative if you can.

Dale Scott and Stefan Lancaster, would do anything to keep a customer happy, credit to Manheim, brilliant men, who you should not lose :)

Ray, (at Moorebank) thank you so much for being an absolute gem to deal with. You went out of your way with my requests and set a great example. Can't thank you enough for helping me purchase my convertible 'toy'.

There are great things about manheim, have bought a few cars and been happy, more information on the cars themselves would be helpful though.

I would like to thank Hayley, Mark, Laura, Mandy and the rest of the Manheim team who are wonderful people to deal with. Any issues faced are dealt with in a fair and timely manner. I have faced a few issues lately with some purchases made however the Manheim team honestly went above and beyond what most other companies would and made my life a lot easier.

We have bought a number of vehicles through these auctions in the past and more recently (due to our relocation away from auction centres) we have bought vehicles sight unseen and based on provided reports To date we have always received what we expected. We have only bought ex-government vehicles in the hope that they have been serviced and cared for appropriately. The 3-month statutory warranty also gives us peace of mind.

Purchased hundreds of thousands of dollars of Trucks with Manheim, over the last 20+ years and the service is first class. Doesn't matter which branch, they all bend over backwards for me, and treat me like a valued client. A real pleasure to deal with.

I purchased a salvage title car. The website is good to use, simulcast auction layout is good and easy to use.

Only real compliant is that my local yard's forklift is only able to side load a trailer not rear load which can be annoying. Had to place the car on the ground then bring it up.

Lady at the front desk who's name is Emma very helpful and on top of the job.

the car which i bought was full of rubbish . Maheim must PREVENT the seller /vender from putting rubbish in the car when selling it.

Purchased a 'silver' tier vehicle from their auction site, paid fair market price with a clean inspection record. Post purchase its evident the entire engine block has been cracked and seller has epoxy-glued the crack, but still leaking coolant. Entire engine needs to be replaced for cost greater than the value of the car. Spoke to Manheim 'customer service' agent who was abrasive, rude and frankly told me 'not their problem'. I would avoid this company at all costs - it looks glossy and reputable but is far from it from my experience.

It was so interesting within a couple of times i got a car, i was so excited. This is my first time going through an auction process. I missed another car by a $100 different.

First time buying from Manheim. The vehicle was accurately described. Vehicle was located in Brisbane, 1,400km from me. Auction and payment process was seamless. Transport section provided excellent service, responded quickly to requests and were fast and efficient.

After last Mondays motor cycle salvage where my top bid of $4,100 at their advised, " auction finalised ", was later "ghost bidded to over $5,000", with the manheim auction site clearly showing "bidding ceased", Manheim Staff "claimed " bidding continued 7 bids with absolutely no notification on their auction site, of extra time, nothing other than "Auction finished/finalised", me And two Mates witnessed the countdown to auction conclusion.

Female Staff member, couldn't explain as to how her claimed extra bids for her "claimed 7 minutes", could fail to show extra time or bids on their 25% scammed ghost bidding Auction site, which concluded on time advising "auction finalised "

Surely such scammers must be screwing the Vast Insurance Companies and other Customers that entrust them.
I wonder if they would have normally paid the Insurance company out at $4,100, then pocketed the scammed 25%

Scammers Shiftier than Craphouse Rats, they still haven't responded to their promised call back.

Another problem was West Australian Manheim Branch, where I was to pay and pick-up, couldn't deal with the Scam, but if I didn't pay their scammed increase I could be penalised for extra costs, they screw you over a barrel

If you bid try to photograph or have someone else photograph your end bids, and the end of auction, TAKE PRECAUTIONS, that you wouldn't need to with Smith Broughton, PICKLES AUCTIONS, LLOYDS, ROSS's Auctions

I was really impressed with the responsiveness and helpfulness of staff.

As a buyer for wrecking the service and ease of pickup my own buys saves me on transport costs compared with other auction houses.
Always pleasure dealing with Manheims.
