Keith arrived and took a good look around the car. The car was impeccable inside and out and it was like he was determined to find something. On the report for 3 of the alloys, none that had been... See more

Gave me a quote for car
Gave me a quote for car, once all the documents were verified, all of the sudden price for the car dropped by nearly 4000 pounds.
Absolute scam! Disgrace! Do not use and do not waste your time and effort with this company! They encourage people to sell them your car, then want to rob big chunk of the price, calling it market valuation drop. Pathetic and inappropriate behaviour.

Complete disgrace
Complete disgrace.
I get a valuation from auto trader for 25,500 and then spend half an hour on the phone with a nice chap taking pictures of literally everything. Then they ring back later with a valuation of 21,500. Compete and utter waste of time. Don’t bother.

Autotrader state Manheim Ltd will call…
Autotrader state Manheim Ltd will call soon, after 7 days I called them and arranged an appointment. On the appointment day, confirmed the call would take place, Manheim told me it would. I washed the car and waited for what was described as a video call, no one called. Seems very poor communication.

Quote high to get customer interested
Gave me a quote for car, once all the documents were verified.
They said they made a misstake and will pay 3k less.
Dishonest, typical car salesman crooks.

Avoid Manhiem Inspections
So my lease ended, and Manheim just did the collection. I look after my cars, especially as it being a lease.
After the inspection, they stated there was a paint run, I said there is no run, it's the plastic trim, the car has had no paintwork done! They picked up non existent things, seems to make money for repairs. Avoid this
company!

I had my lease hire van collected 2…
I had my lease hire van collected 2 days ago.
I look after my vehicles very well.
There was not a mark on it.
Not even a scuff on the wheel trims.
But I made the mistake of leaving the guy alone for 2 minutes. When I came back he pointed out a scratch on the front bumper. I rubbed the scratch and it had clearly just been some. As pieces of the raised scratch fell away.
I washed it the day before and it had just been parked up.
I am only advertising you to not leave them alone

Lease car collected by Jamie
Lease car was collected today by Jamie and a colleague. I’d been worried about the collection for a while after reading reviews on here. Jamie was extremely pleasant and fair, definitely wouldn’t put me off leasing again.

Avoid
Avoid - time wasters! Used the link on Autotrader and contacted Manheim to sell my older but low mileage, excellent condition car. Made an appointment for a virtual viewing of the car (which was confusing in itself) for a few days time. They never called at the agreed time or since, despite us calling twice chasing them up. Absolute unprofessional time wasters and a concern for Autotrader to be linked to them. Avoid.

Awful experience
Awful experience, I get quote about 8K online and I describe my car correct and detailed. Once they come to check the car, the guys ding my wheel during the test drive and quote 1 k lower after he sent some pics to his colleagues. Just waste time

Avoid!
Avoid! I have an old car but with a very low mileage for its age and it looks/drives as if it's new. Never had any issues with it at all until the their guy came and connected some device to the car to do some checks. The moment he pulled it out (forcefully) I had all sorts of warning lights show on the dashboard with one of them showing an issue with the engine and the car needing a service. He then tried a few more times, again disconnecting the device forcefully and the same thing happened. He apparently was very surprised as this had never happened - so was I as I knew the car was perfectly fine. He left saying that they're unable to quote for the car now as there might be a serious issue with the engine and they don't want to take the risk. I took the car to a garage next day, they run some diagnostics and the car was absolutely fine, all warning lights got cleared as well. I showed a photo of the device to the mechanic and he said it's a cheap £5 staff which likely caused the issue in the first place. So I didn't sell the car, wasted my time and got really stressed out. I'm surprised that Autotrader associate themselves with a company like this. Do not go to them if you want to sell your car hassle free.

They keep asking you all the security…
They keep asking you all the security guestion, keep asking you all the details of the car, everything about you and the car at the phone, and at the end they told me that it is not possible to buy my car because I have a traker installed on my car. Really!!!! way this is unlawful???I guess first they should tell you the policy of company and not to waisting people time.
A terrible company
A terrible company. They offered £2810. I provided all the information including details of some small damage to the bodywork. I was told so long as it matched this when they came out it was guaranteed. A really lovely man came out this morning. Did his checks and test drive as expected. The offer £1400. Such a complete waste of both his & my time & incredibly disappointing. Suffice to say I didn’t sell, and wouldn’t recommend.

Use it only if have car for scrap!
Avoid! Online price is a con
Booked online and was given a price. The guy turned up as planned and looked over the car and took it for a drive. He then contacted the office and came up with a revised price. The revised price was nearly £2k less than the online price. I was told that's because of all the issues with the car?! I asked to see what had been recorded and walked around the car with the guy. Not one of the items he had listed was valid, he'd just made things up. I quickly said no and he left. 20 mins later I went online and price checked my car on We buy any car. The price was similar to what Manheim quoted online. 30 mins later the car was checked over by We buy any car and sold! The chap said the car was close to perfect and they were happy to pay the price. Avoid Manheim unless you want to be given a bad experience.

Unfortunately this company have done…
Unfortunately this company have done not 1 single thing they promised to do when we entered our vehicles with them this was hugely to our financial detriment, but this was not enought for them, they then proceed to act like they are the ones who are hard done by because we have not collected one of the unsold vehicles within a week of them asking then Sam calls up for an argument after its already been explained that we are aware of it, but then have broken the vehicle and so it now requires recovery rather than driving away so it will take some time to arrange a company to do this. even thought this had been explained at least 4 times during the week we receve an argumentative call from Sam Allice 20 mins after another call from his office again chasing us.
we have waited months for them to credit invoices, to actually enter vehicles, vehicles have missed agreed sale dates, sundry invoices have been sent to us for things that are not chargable and are constantly chased, we have been asking for month for this and many other issues to be resoved none of them have been, yet the minute they want a van moved that has lost half its value due to them ! it has to be done right away or they bombard you, harras you and then call up for an argument ! take my advice avoid Manhaim like the plague
Malcolm and Manheim
Malcolm was great, I got my valuation 7pm Friday and Malcolm arrived at 11am Saturday the next day, he was very pleasant and knowledgeable and made the whole process very easy, Manheim has dealt with the process of buying my car a whole lot better than many places I have been before, No fuss and money in the bank within 5 minutes, they didn’t lowball me I got what I was expecting for them to still make their money, business is business!, Would definitely use again and would definitely recommend!

Unprofessional
Unprofessional, sold me a car with warranted miles engine was damaged and found invoice in car stating had been fitted with another engine, claimed refund as mileage was incorrect and buyer services manager claimed in court that vehicle mileage goes on the seats and interior and not the engine and gearbox, shameful company that lost my Buisness permanently
If you thought WeBayAnyCar is rubbish, wait until you deal with these lot
My car was valued £15,227, a representative came for appraisal, he didn't flag one single issue, submitted all the photos, the the final valuation came back for £13,000. The representative was shocked and apologetic, he said I can't believe this.
Went to WeBayAnyCar straight away, they offered £15,500
The car retails for over £18,500
Don't waste your time with them

Low Balling....
As many other reviews have said, I was offered £1615 versus an online quote of £2700. I had volunteered online damage to rear bumper and a small bodywork dent. Appraisal took 1.5 hours. The only additional 'damage' identified amounted to minor bonnet scratch/stone chips leading to 40% price reduction.
