I think that the trainer was only appointed in the day prior to the training delivery. Earlier notice would be preferred to enable training to be tailored to my company (ASX listed with P&L examples readily available) since it was a 1:1 session. Overall, the session was informative, and comprehensive and Mandeep modelled the delivery in reference to my experience. Administrative support (Rachel) in setting up the session was prompt and accurate.

My experience with Mangates Training was deeply unsatisfactory from start to finish. The instructions provided prior to the course were unclear, and despite following their process, my credit card was charged twice. It took over a week to receive any response about the double charge, which is unacceptable for a professional training provider.

The course itself was also falsely advertised. The instructor arrived at the wrong venue, then turned up late, and my staff member ended up being the only participant despite the course being promoted as a group session. This alone raises concerns about the legitimacy and organization of the service.

What was most concerning, however, was the instructor's behavior. They engaged in inappropriate and unprofessional conduct, including asking to perform spiritual healing practices on my staff member. This caused her significant discomfort and was entirely outside the scope of the advertised training. Such behavior is unethical and should never occur in a professional learning environment.

Overall, the experience was highly disappointing, poorly managed, and at times inappropriate. Based on this, I would not recommend Mangates Training to anyone.

Despite the initial frustration of several delays and cancellations, this ended up being an incredibly enriched session. I am actually glad things happened the way they did because it led me to meet this trainer(Brain). He far exceeded my expectations, addressing all my detailed questions with great patience. He was incredibly friendly and a great listener. Overall, it was a session to remember thank you.

I had instructor Sandra for the skills for women at work. I liked her a lot as an instructor. We went over the packet. Started and ended on time

I was contacted by Mangates via LinkedIn to deliver youth wellbeing workshop in January, wich was cancelled 24hrs before the delivery day. I was then asked to deliver a full day leadership communication on 24th Feb, I signed NDA and paid for printing of certificates and workbooks out of pocket as well as catering at Mangates request and promise of reimbursement. I issued invoice for the agreed workshop delivery fee, printing and catering the day after training with 7 day payment terms to 4th March, I was contacted by the finance team saying ‘payment due date falls between March 17th to 26th’ which I agreed to honour. On 31st March I emailed asking about payment and the response was ‘experiencing some technical issues related to our payment processing system’ and ‘We kindly request your patience until 8th April, by which we expect the payment to be successfully processed and received.’ On the 9th April I sent yet another email asking why I haven’t been paid and still more excuses about technical issues. I demanded immediate payment or to be put in touch with a manager, and since then it’s been radio silence. It’s now been 7 weeks since I delivered the training for them and have not received any payment and now they are ignoring my emails and messages. This is so unprofessional, I would definitely NOT recommend dealing with them or accepting any work from this company!
Mangates, live up to your claims of being a trusted and professional company and please pay your dues ASAP!

I hosted a training session for Mangates on February 18, 2026. I sent my payment invoice to them on the very next day, February 19 to be paid on March 11, 2026.

I received an email on March 10, which was the day before the invoice payment was due, and to be paid out to me. And now on March 10th in the email they changed the payment due date to March 23.

I said okay fine. On March 23 there is still no payment even though they said they would send the payment by the end of the business day.

I received an email the next morning (today 3/24) saying that payment will now be sent on Thursday, March 26, even though I explained to them that I was going through a financial emergency and needed to pay my bills immediately!

I also have another recent pending invoice for a training I hosted on March 12, 2026. I’m sure that one will be late and delayed as well!

What is going on Mangates? This is just not right how you do your loyal trainers. And the session participant trainees told me that you all take their company’s payment immediately. So it’s not like you are waiting for the corporate business to pay you all!

Pay me my payment that is owed to me! My entire $400 balance!!

The trainer was good and I appreciated her but the mangates work book was just chat gpt generated and repetative. The only time I learned anything was after the whole day of training when the trainer finished the workbook with me and then gave me more information from her own experiences! They also charged us twice and haven't refunded. They contacted the trainer on linked in and didnt even view her certificates or qualifications just sent her my email where I was explaining what I hoped to learn.. whole thing feels like a scam but thank you to the lovely trainer who tried her best to work with what they had given her. My certificate has a spelling mistake too. Not impressed as it wasn't cheap training! $680 for the day for me.

I was contacted in January this year and delivered a full‑day training for Mangates on January 13, 2026, on Complete AI Productivity & Ethical Prompting. I also personally paid CAD 18.50 out of pocket to print certificates for their participants, exactly as they requested.

It is now March 4, and I have still not been paid.

What I experienced was a cycle of excuses and shifting deadlines. One day it’s “technical glitches.” The next day it’s “year‑end closure activities.” Every promised date has been missed. Every follow‑up has been met with a new explanation. Meanwhile, I delivered the training professionally, on time, and even covered printing costs myself.

This is not a one‑off delay it’s a pattern of unprofessional and unreliable payment practices. Trainers deserve transparency and respect, not endless runarounds and broken commitments. This is unacceptable.

What makes this worse is their own NDA, which claims:

Payment will be made within 14–21 business days, and
“in case of late payment,” it will not exceed one month from the training date.
If payment is delayed beyond this period, the Trainer may contact mangates support for resolution.

This clause just sets deadlines with no enforcement, no consequences, and no escalation. The only “remedy” they offer is to email support which is exactly what I have been doing for weeks. In practice, this clause allows them to miss every deadline with zero accountability.

If you are a trainer considering working with this company, please take my experience seriously. I strongly discourage signing any agreement with a zero accountability clause like this.

Toba Best our trainer is very accommodating. Materials are provided and training is really in a place that is really good setting and environment. He provided great explanations to the materials and is thorough with it.

This training is important for new leaders to understand the basic leadership skills.
Toba Best was knowledgeable and provided lots of real examples as well as allowing us to contribute with our own experience as leaders.
I would highly recommend taking this training to improve your confidence as a leader.
