As an American in Japan, we were hesitant at first to order from Makeup.jp. But they sent 100% authentic and extremely well priced products quickly. Their customer service was super responsive and communicative in English. We would definitely order from them again. They were terrific.

There was a issue with the product i bought on makeup.jp
After receiving, I found that the product was slightly different from what I wanted to buy.
I sent an inquiry, and they refunded the full amount. Thank you.

Polite and efficient.
Had certain concerns about shipment (took few days for the order to be shipped so started panicking) but support team responded promptly. After receiving the order had some questions about it and after providing all the necessary photos (people who say they sent all photos, even Amazon requests pictures under angles and barcodes visible so if you were requested to send more pictures, just cooperate) got a refund without any problem. Everyone was polite and helpful thro whole experience. Loved that they ship with safe shipment company.

The price is cheap but authentic i hope they will post a lot of cheap perfume and I'll try to purchase 😉

I seriously regret ordering from makeup.jp. Yes, the prices are low — but now I know why: they send used or tester products, sometimes with damaged or deteriorated packaging. Completely unacceptable, especially for makeup and skincare items where hygiene is crucial.

When I contacted customer service to report this, they refused to issue a refund and kept sending the exact same copy-paste response over and over — asking for pictures I had already sent multiple times. It's like talking to a robot. No actual help, no accountability, no resolution.

If you value your health, your money, and your time: RUN. There are better sites out there that respect their customers. This one clearly doesn’t.

I was skeptical at first because the prices are exceptionally reasonable and they have a lot of products that I cannot easily find in Japan. But I bet on the risk and ordered it as shipping is free for 2900 yen and above. To my surprise, the whole process from the day I ordered to arrival only took 9 days and was updated promptly. I will keep ordering from there.
