THIS STUFF IS CRAP AND THEY STILL SELL IT BUT NOTE HOW MUCH THEY HAVE REDUCED THE PRICE HOMEBASE NOW AT £27.00 WE PAID £40.00 FIVE DAYS AGO , BE WARNED !!!!!!!!!!
Avoid like the plague, i foolishly tried. To cover our tired worktop BIG MISTAKE have got chips and bits coming off now the worktop is a disgusting mess I have asked the customer service people how I can remove it and was told “ use a scraper or paint knife”
It’s impossible so now I’ve got to spend more that I paid for this RUBBISH
Customer service is non existent.
Don't expect any answers for help as no one responds to emails.
Worktop paint isn't as tough as they claim, and will bloom if it gets wets.
I will never buy again, and would urge you not to.
I bought the kitchen refresh paint and although initially happy with the finish I soon discovered that every splash of water marked it, even a tiny splash that is wiped away immediately is marking.
Have reported to maison and their customer service is non existent, and the telephone number on the website just rings out.
I spent a lot of time painting my kitchen units and now they are a disaster!
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
We have been using this paint on our plastered kitchen walls and ceiling with great success. It is easy to use with both brush and roller. We will be using it on the bathroom and shower room ceilings next. Really love the finish it gives. We’ve used graphite, linen and cool white.
Do not buy this paint for tiles! I followed instructions to the letter and the paint peeled and cracked immediately… now looking for alternative solutions to repair the damage
Well me again. They finally responded from 5th May. They have not addressed my complaint and offered to send a small pot of paint to go over the scratches. Well not good enough.
In order to be able to actually use my bathroom I will have to use varnish now.
Avoid at all costs this looks good
But is not fit for purpose
I used this product on my kitchen tiles approx 6 months ago it looked great to start with. But to my horror a week or so later it all started to peel & flake. I cleaned the tiles with sugar soap & fully following the instructions on the tub a 2nd time spending another £40 & the same happened again. I was absolutely distraught & contacted the company & after about 4 months of emails/pics & more & more emails & pics going to them nothing has been done I was just fobbed of time & time again, I have been treated absolutely disgustingly & iam in the process of going to the trading standards agency to resolve this.
So I would advise anyone 100% (*****DO NOT TO BUY*****) this product as it dosnt do what it says on the tin or tub in this case. & the company's customer service is an absolute joke. The stress & anxiety caused by this whole process is shocking.
I used this paint to update my kitchen - the kitchen is not functional yet because I have not finished off the painting.
I done everything required on the container such as sugar soap etc. My tiles are matt and textured so I thought it would grip very easily. BUT suddenly where I had started the painting there appeared what looked like hairline cracks in the paint and yesterday I found a whole lot of cracked paint on my work surface (It looked like eggshells had been left there) How frustrating!! Money and a lot of time and energy spent on this. DO NOT BUY - Nightmare!
DO NOT USE THIS PAINT! I ended buying 3 pots of their bathroom refresh paint and it has not stopped peeling since day one. The paint is mixed with a formula which apparently makes it ‘’Extremely Durable’’, ‘’Ultra Adherent’’ & ‘’Waterproof Barrier’’ however is not affective after 48 hours so when I need to cover over the peeled areas, the paint was obsolete. I left to fully dry for over a week however as soon as any liquid came into contact (shower, cleaning products) it completely bubbled and peeled away again. Complete waste of money! When trying to request compensation from the company, I did not receive any useless updates or feedback and the issue is still not resolved after 3 weeks
