Trip of a lifetime!

Trip of a lifetime! We couldn’t have asked for a better tour company for our African Adventure. Amazing guide, itinerary, lodging and experiences! It was everything we could have asked for and more. Highly recommend!!

Maisha Adventures: 5 day 4 night safari in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater area.

My wife and I were on a 5 day 4 night safari to Tarangire National Park, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and to Lake Manyara.

Our guide, Hance, was very knowledgeable about the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater areas. He did a great job of driving the Safari vehicle allowing us to get good sightings and take pictures of the wildlife. He not only knew about the animals but also knew about the different birds in the areas visited. Because of this, I felt that the safari was more well rounded to our liking.

Our cook, Paul, made fantastic dishes. His homemade soups were amazing. He made enough food that one could not leave the table hungry. Paul was also knowledgeable about the wildlife we were viewing and thus was a helpful addition to Hance’s eyes for spotting.

We chose this safari where we would sleep in tents rather than in a lodge setting. The tents allowed standing room, there were cots with cushions and sleeping bags that were proper for weather conditions. We could help set up the tent or have the guide and cook do all the labor. We chose to assist as it made the experience feel more like a true safari adventure.
Each evening after dinner, we would be briefed about the next days schedule. We did have a say in what we wanted, however with the guides knowledge it was best to let him lead the adventure. Also, being in the camping sites allowed us to be close to the animals, something we found out one early morning as we heard steps just outside our tent.

I would not hesitate to sign up again with Maisha Adventures.
Chelsey and James, owners of Maisha Adventures, were very helpful from the start, planning our safari, providing us with a packing list and hotels and flight information, both international and within country flights.
The overall price was very reasonable for all that the company did to give us a memorable safari adventure.

5 Stars to Maisha Adventures!

5 Stars to Maisha for everything from our reservations to information from guide Hans to the delicious meals prepared by Paul and the comfort of our accommodations on cots. We always felt safe and well provided for by our hosts James and Chelsey. What an amazing experience we can recommend to our friends and others who are seniors like us or younger.

Going on safari with Maisha Adventures…

Going on safari with Maisha Adventures was the highlight of my trip to Tanzania. I went on the 4 day safari with 11 other people. We saw all of the big 5 and got to see a ton of different animals, most of them really up close. Our driver was amazing and answered any questions we had. The accommodations were great- the first night we stayed in a lodge, and the next two nights, we camped out in tents. Overall, this was an experience I will never forget, and I would recommend this company to anyone.

Budd African Adventure

Our trip of 6 people was very well organized & our guide (Hans) was attentive to our requests. We felt this company deserves an A+ in customer service. Chelsea & James helped us plan our nearly 2 week African trip including the days we weren’t on safari.

Amazing experience

I did a four day safari organized by Maisha Adventures visiting Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti Nationalpark. It was just a stunning experience. We saw the big five and our smart guide knew how to place us in the right spot to have the best and closest view on the animals. The food was simple but good and there was always more than enough.

Maisha Arts Hostel and its great people warmly welcome you the night before and after the safari to stay for free. They can also help you with all sorts of stuff like organizing taxis, other tours or just answering all the questions you may have.

So I can definitely recommend those guys.
Thanks a lot !!

Maisha arts hostel is the perfect place …

Maisha arts hostel is the perfect place to stay in Arusha, Tanzania. The hosts are very friendly and supportive. They help you everywhere you need some advices, organise everything for you, such as an awesome multiday safari trip, or a marvellous hike to the Kilimanjaro, and always provide you with a good conversation. The housewive who works there is also great and does several important things there, such as cleaning after you and cooking for the guests. Her child is adorable. Prepare yourself for falling in love with her😉.
As it is written on their sign: A home away from home. Definitely one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in, and I have been to a lot of places and hostels in the world.

Friendly staff and great experience!

From start to finish, Maisha Adventures provided us with an excellent experience. They were happy to cater to our wants and needs. Our driver guide was really good at knowing where to take us to find each animal, he could spot an animal from so far away and identify exactly what it was - eagle eyes! Our chef made delicious food for every meal, catering to my desire for spicy food while my mom wanted more mild. There was always more than enough food for us as well, he was amazing! We saw all of the big 5 and all of the other animals we wanted to see as well. Truly a once in a lifetime experience and so happy we did it with Maisha Adventures!

Promise you won't regret it!

There is simply nothing that I would change to this adventure. The service of the porters was amazing, the food just made me want to live in that mountain and the guide with years of experience made it possible for me to get to the top and beat Africa's highest mountain! The only thing to say is that i totally recommend Maisha Adventures and thank them for this beautiful and life changing experience!
